MY HEART (REUNION OF LEO AND DEO)

Mr. and Mrs. Martin tried so hard to gain control of their hands back but the memory Leo and Deo wasn’t going to let them go and was pulling them back into the garden. Me. and Mrs. Martin looked at the piece of clothing on their wrist and noticed it remain a bit before it fully changed color then they became scared.

Suddenly, the glowing butterfly created a bright light that shined on the face of the memory Leo and Deo making them blind for some seconds. Seeing that, Mr. and Mrs. Martin gained control of their hands back and went into the door.

A nurse came in to check up on Adewale and Adetutu and saw they were awake. The nurse quickly rushed out of the ward to get the doctor to come and check on them.

Mr. and Mrs. Martin opened their eyes to see themselves back in the sacred room and all the candles off. Mr. and Mrs. Martin both thanked God for returning alive and removed the piece of clothing on their wrist, then noticed the shaman and uncle James was no longer in the sacred room.

Mr. and Mrs. Martin came out of the sacred room and went to the shaman’s office to look for the shaman and uncle James but still, they weren’t there then they began to call their names.

Uncle James heard Mr. and Mrs. Martin’s voice calling their names and came out of where he and the shaman were to meet Mr. and Mrs. Martin. Uncle James got to Mr. and Mrs. Martin and took them to where the shaman was.

On entering the shaman’s room, Mr. and Mrs. Martin were surprised to see the shaman lying down on the bed weak and unhealthy. Mrs. Martin asked uncle James ″what happened? Why is he in this state?″.

″I wish I could answer that. I came here a few hours ago to ask of you guys and met him unconscious on the floor in his office. There was blood in his mouth and on the floor so I had to bring him here. I don’t know what’s wrong with him″ said uncle James (worried) to Mr. and Mrs. Martin.

Mrs. Martin went to sit down beside the shaman and asked him ″what happen to you? why are you like this?″.

″I am so glad to see you back alive. Hope I tried my best″ said the shaman (weakly) to Mr. and Mrs. Martin.

″You did more than that″ said Mrs Martin to the shaman.

″I was so happy when you called me the most beautiful creature on earth″ said the shaman (with a smile) to Mr. and Mrs. Martin.

″Beautiful creature? I don’t quite get you″ said Mrs. Martin (confused) to the shaman.

Mr. Martin understand the shaman and said ″I know what he means. That is the words I said to the glowing butterfly which means he was the glowing butterfly″.

Mrs. Martin was surprised to hear that and asked the shaman″You were the glowing butterfly? How were you able to do that?″.

″It’s part of my gift from God″ said the shaman.

″You saved us out there. Thank you so much. We appreciate everything you have done for us″ said Mrs. Martin to the shaman.

″Why did you become a butterfly and come to the memory land?″ Mr. Martin asked the shaman.

″You guys were running out of time and I had to do something or all will be lost″ said the shaman.

″Thank you once again. I will pray for your quick recovery″ said Mrs. Martin unhappily to the shaman.

″Am not sick, Mrs. Martin. Am dying and no one can stop that happening″ said the shaman.

Uncle James, Mrs. Martin, and Mr. Martin all became shocked, worried, and scared upon hearing the shaman say that. Uncle James (scared) said to the shaman ″you are joking right, brother″.

″Am sorry little bro. This was destined to happen″ said the shaman (unhappy) to uncle James.

″This is not right. Why are you dying?″ Mr. Martin asked the shaman.

″When I realized you two wouldn’t make it because you two were running out of time I had to do something which is by going into the memory land to help you guys. But I wasn’t allowed into the memory land because am not connected to Leo or Deo in any way like you guys. I decided to force my way in knowing the sacrifice I have to pay, which is having a short life just like you guys. I tried to go into the memory land as a human but still couldn’t so I became the butterfly and went in, but I used my power against them while trying to save you. I shouldn’t have used my powers against them but I did and that is the reason why am dying right now″ said the shaman.

″Am sorry little bro. This was destined to happen″ said the shaman to uncle James.

″This is not right. Why are you dying?″ Mr. Martin asked the shaman.

″When I realized you two wouldn’t make it because you two were running out of time, I had to do something which is by going into the memory land to help you guys. But I wasn’t allowed in because am not connected to Leo or Deo in any way like you guys. I decided to force my way in knowing the sacrifice I have to pay which is having a short life just like you guys. I tried to go into the memory land as a human but still couldn’t so I became the butterfly and went in, but I used my power against them while trying to save you. I shouldn’t have used my powers at them but I did and that is the reason why am dying right now″ said the shaman.

″Am sorry, you shouldn’t have done that. We will never have allowed anyone to die while trying to save our children″ said Mrs. Martin sad, as water filled her eyes.

″I know. But have never failed in my line of work and wasn’t ready to do that now also″ said the shaman.

Mrs. Martin tried to control her tears while uncle James wept silently.

″You all don’t need to cry. There is something I need to say and it goes to James. Something big is coming and the whole world is going to suffer when it arrived. Mr. and Mrs Martin will be gone by then remaining only you among us here. I want you to wake me up then″ said the shaman to uncle James.

″What are you talking about?″ Mr. Martin (confused) asked the shaman, Mrs. Martin and Uncle James were also confused.

″I don’t know also. All I know is something big and bad is coming″ said the shaman.

″If you are dead how am I going to wake you?″ uncle James (no longer weeping) asked the shaman.

″When the times come you will know how. Everything will fall in place don’t forget James″ said the shaman to uncle James.

″I won’t, brother″ said uncle James.

″I have a favor to ask of you Mr. and Mrs. Martin″ said the shaman to Mr. and Mrs. Martin.

″Ask anything, we will be glad to do it″ said Mrs. Martin to the shaman, as she hold the shaman’s hand.

″Please take care of my whole family″ said the shaman and died.

Seeing the shaman give up the ghost, Mrs. Martin said bitterly “no, no, no”, as she cried. Uncle James also cried, except for Mr. Martin that acted like a man.

The shaman was given a proper burial, and Uncle James took his brother’s wife and 10-year-old son(Jay) under his wing, while Mr and Mrs Martin support him financially.

Mr. and Mrs. Martin sent uncle James’ two children (Gabriel and Esther) and Jay to the United state with their mothers to continue their studies.

Mr. and Mrs. Martin also get a teacher for uncle James to teach him about business and how to manage a company because they want to appoint him as an MD in one of their companies.

After Adewale and Adetutu woke up, they have no memories of the memory land or what happened there.

A YEAR LATER

Adewale was made the MD of the headquarters company while Adetutu was made his assistant and Uncle James was also made MD in another branch of the company.

From time to time uncle James visited the Martins family. They always spend time together having fun and celebrations, they now see Uncle James as part of the Martins family.

It was Mrs. Martin’s birthday, and families, friends, and employees, even her children were all present in the hall. Drinks, food, and snacks were served, and entertainment to keep the party going while they all wait for the arrival of the celebrant.

Mrs. Martin was busy with her cosmetic when Adetutu call came in. Mrs. Martin picked up the call and said over the phone to her daughter ″Hello darling″

″Mum, where are you and dad? Everyone is waiting″ said Adetutu over the phone.

″Am sorry dear. Just give us so couple of minutes, we will be there″ said Mrs. Martin.

″Okay, be fast″ said Adetutu and hung up.

″Honey, I will be in the car when you are done″ Mr Martin’s voice echoed from the living room which Mrs. Martin heard.

″Okay″ shouted back Mrs Martin.

A few minutes later, Mrs. Martin joined her husband in the car then Mr. Martin ignited the car.

As they journey to the hall in the car, Mr and Mrs Martin were talking and smiling. They got to the north side of the road and the traffic light indicated red color then Mr Martin stopped the car and they continued their conversation.

A truck driver coming from the west side of the road toward the traffic light that indicates the green light loses control over his truck. Upon getting closer to the traffic light, it indicated red color for the truck driver to stop but the truck driver couldn’t stop the truck because the truck brake has failed.

Mr. and Mrs. Martin’s traffic light indicated green color, so Mr. Martin moved the car forward. Just as Mr. Martin get past the traffic light, the bright light of the truck got his attention but it was too late for him to get his car out of the way of the truck and his car was hit by the truck very hard.
