Chapter 21
Chapter 21
‘Minx, how dare you try to trick me into talking?
Ha!‘ Magnus sneered in his heart, but his face remained serious as he said, “Didn’t I say it? I picked it up.”
Xylia’s expression suddenly turned cold as she heard this.
She really wanted to ask why she couldn’t find one.
“You were just lying to me, I didn’t believe you at all!” Xylia forced herself to endure.
Upon hearing this sound, Magnus felt a tingling sensation throughout his body and swallowed once again.
Just as he was about to say something, suddenly, his eyebrows furrowed, his pupils gradually turned bright red, and even his body began to tremble..
“Run!” said Magnus, his tone icy cold.
“What’s wrong with you?”
Upon seeing this scene, Xylia couldn’t help but remove her disguise.
Magnus emitted an intense chill, causing her to shiver secretly.
“I was sick. You should leave quickly, or I’m afraid I can’t control myself!”
Magnus half–squatted on the ground, tightly clenching his fists.
“What’s wrong with you?” Xylia was completely baffled.
“I told you to hurry up-”
Before Magnus finished roaring, he suddenly tackled Xylia.
“Ah, what are you going to do?”
A scream echoed throughout the entire mansion!
At that moment, Magnus was like a wild, frenzied beast.
Xylia struggled fiercely, but her strength was no match for Magnus. In the end, she was pinned down and couldn’t move!
“Hey, wake up a bit!” Xylia said, almost in tears.
If she had known Magnus would be such a “beast,” she would never have let him stay in her house.
“I beg you, please let me got”
Magnus seemed if he couldn’t hear, staring down at Xylia with anger in his eyes!
Xylia shivered and pleaded desperately, “Please, let me go!”
Hiss…
Magnus tore open her nightgown!
“Ah… You beast, I’m going all out against you!”
At that moment, Xylia seemed to unleash all of her strength, using all her might to pull back her right hand.

Chapter 21
A fierce slap landed on Magnus‘ face.
It was unclear whether it was because of the slap or Magnus‘ willpower that restrained him, but he didn’t take any further action!
“Scumbag, I’ll fight you to the end!”
Xylia was still relentlessly scratching him.
As she scratched, Magnus‘ clothes were torn by her.
Magnus suddenly let go of her, and his eyes gradually returned to normal.
“Sorry!”
“Scumbag, just you wait!”
Xylia covered herself with her pajamas and quickly escaped back to her own room.
After calming down, Magnus put a cigarette in his mouth, his face more serious than ever before.
Every time he fell ill, he would do some irrational things.
This clearly wasn’t the first time.
Bang!
Xylia walked out of the room, and at that time, she had changed into a battle suit, even wearing handcuffs and a handgun around her waist!
“Sorry!” Magnus apologized again.
“Did you do that on purpose just now?” Xylia asked, glaring as she approached.
Seeing her like that, it seemed that as long as Magnus said “yes,” she would handcuff the other person without hesitation!
“I just got sick,” Magnus said somewhat weakly.
Just now, if he hadn’t regained his senses at the crucial moment, he might have hurt that woman!
“What illness?” Xylia asked aggressively.
“A kind of mental illness!” Magnus said with a bitter smile.
Xylia was taken aback.
Although she didn’t know much about mental illnesses, she was aware that people who usually suffered from them had experienced significant trauma.
“Really?”
“Really!” Magnus said with a bitter smile.
Xylia could sense that the other person was likely not lying, and the hostility gradually dissipated.
She put away her handgun and said coldly, “I have a best friend who is a psychologist. I’ll introduce you to her tomorrow.”
“Thanks, but no need.” Magnus casually declined.
He knew his own illness well, and the psychologist couldn’t help him at all.
“I’m telling you, my best friend is an authoritative expert, you must go for treatment!” Xylia said in a tone that left no room for refusal.
She wanted to know whether Magnus was really sick or just trying to take advantage of her.

Chapter 21
Moreover, if Magnus really was sick and it wasn’t treated properly, there was no guarantee that he wouldn’t hurt her during an episode!
Unable to refuse the overwhelming hospitality, Magnus reluctantly agreed.
Both of them sat back down on the couch, and after what had just happened, the atmosphere Bt–odite somewhat awkward.
After a while, Xylia broke the silence. “You have good skills. If I have a difficult task in the future, can I ask for your help?”
“Are there any benefits?” Magnus casually asked.
“What benefits do you want?” Xylia responded.
“Whatever. Just some benefits like cooking and doing laundry for me would be fine. I’m a person who’s easily satisfied.”
“Washing clothes and cooking? Humph, what do you think I am?” Xylia said, her face turning red involuntarily.
Magnus let out two dry laughs.
Xylia hummed again and said, “I accidentally overheard Captain Watson saying that a very dangerous person has infiltrated Clusia. If you could catch him for me, not to mention doing laundry and cooking, even having a child… I mean, serving you would be no problem!”
“Oh? What dangerous person? Tell me more.”
Magnus smiled confidently and added, “I’m quite skilled, you know. I can catch anyone for you, as long as I want to.”
“Tsk, stop bragging!”
Xylia glanced at him and said seriously, “That guy is none other than the infamous Lucifer the Great from the underground world!”
Pfft!
Magnus had just picked up the water cup to drink when he couldn’t help but spit it out in one mouthful.
Seeing his appearance, Xylia asked in surprise, “Have you heard of him?”
“Uh…” Magnus knew that if he said he hadn’t heard of it, the other person definitely wouldn’t believe him. So he awkwardly laughed and said, “I’ve heard. a bit about it.”
“Um!” Xylia nodded, her face involuntarily revealing a hint of admiration. “To be honest, I actually admire Lucifer the Great quite a bit.”
“You admire him?” Magnus suddenly burst into laughter.
“What are you laughing at?”
Xylia glared at him and added, “Lucifer the Great single–handedly established Scarlet Purgatory, making all the big shots in the underground world tremble in fear. Moreover, he has never done anything to harm Clusia.”
At this point, she lowered her voice and said, “Let me tell you, I actually suspect that Lucifer the Great is one of us Clusians!”
“I think so too!” Magnus‘ facial expression was indescribably wonderful.
“You think so foo?” Xylia seemed to have found a like–minded friend.
Magnus nodded seriously.
“Lucifer the Great entered Clusia a while ago, and although I don’t know what his purpose was, I think he wouldn’t do anything to harm Clusia.”
Xylia spoke with a seemingly helpless sigh. “If only I could catch him!”
“Weren’t you admiring him? Why did you want to catch him?” Magnus asked curiously.
Chapter 21
Xylia snorted, “I’ll catch him just to find out his purpose for coming to Clusia!”
Magnus got up and, while walking toward his room, he spoke.
“Don’t overthink it. He might have just come to Clusia for a vacation.”
