My Fiance is Lucifer The Geat By Arno Hart

Chapter 12

Chapter 12

Meanwhile, at the security division of Yiefmery, Magnus was approached by two middle–aged men the moment he got out of the car.

One of them was Nestor, and the other one was the chief of the security division, Hendrick Anderson.

You even dared to lay your hand on my son, for which I really admire your courage.”

Nestor glared at him with a sullen expression.

Magnus raised his eyebrows and sneered, “So you’re the father of that loser? Tsk tsk… Sure enough, both of you are the same, losers.””

“Very good!” Struggling to control his anger, Nestor said, “Let’s see if you will still have the last laugh later.”

As soon as those words fell, a series of crisp slaps rang out.

Smack! Smack

Magnus suddenly struck out and slapped Nestor’s face hard twice.

“Ah…” Nestor was sent flying backward because of Magnus‘ force.

“Mr. Zinn!” Glen quickly rushed up.

The security officer standing nearby was dumbfounded. It seemed like they didn’t expect Magnus to have the audacity to lay hands on someone right in front of them.

Moreover, the person whom he hit was Nestor!

“Outrageous!” Hendrick scolded harshly, “Absolutely lawless! Take him in!”

Magnus said, “Wait, I need to make a phone call.”

Hendrick snorted and asked, “Still want to make a phone call at this point?”

Magnus gave him a side–eye disdainfully and threatened coldly, “If you don’t let me make this call, I hope you won’t regret it!”

Hendrick, you saw everything. He actually dared to hit me! Hurry up and arrest him!” Nestor stood up with Glen’s support, pointing at Magnus and yelling hysterically.

However, Hendrick swallowed nervously.

When he met Magnus‘ gaze, he felt as if he had been stared down by a ferocious beast.

“Let him call,” Hendrick said, feeling somewhat guilty.

Under the watchful eyes of the onlookers, Magnus took out his phone casually and dialed Zane’s number.

“I’m at the security division. If you can’t get here within ten minutes, I’ll handle this my own way.”

Upon finishing his words, he hung up immediately, not giving Zane any chance to speak from the beginning till the end.

Hendrick, why haven’t you arrested him yet?” Nestor yelled, upset.

“Nestor, don’t be anxious. Let’s see what tricks this rascal has up his sleeve,” Hendrick responded ambiguously,

He couldn’t afford to offend Nestor, but Magnus‘ domineering aura also made him extremely uneasy too.

Therefore, Hendrick decided to wait for a while. After ten minutes, if no one came to bail Magnus, he would handle this in an official manner.

Nestor seemed to have figured out Hendrick’s inner thoughts, and his eyebrows furrowed immediately.

Magnus, on the other hand, appeared very relaxed. He even lighted a cigarette, exhaling puffs of smoke.

Time ticked away. Just as five minutes went past after Magnus hung up his phone, a Passat stopped in front of the entrance of the security division.

Xylia got out of the car

“Xylia!” Hendrick called out. Apparently, he knew Xylia.

After all, the Sixth Division’s headquarters were based in Yiefmery. It was normal that they had quite a few interactions with each other before.

“Hello, Chief Anderson. I came on Captain Watson’s orders to bring Magnus away,Xylla stated the purpose of her arrival directly.

Hendrick was astounded for a moment. He never expected that it only took one phone call from Magnus to actually bring people from the Sixth

Division!

At that moment, he was extremely relieved that he hadn’t made things difficult for this guy.

“All right, no problem,” Hendrick answered.

Upon uttering those words, Hendrick ordered his subordinates, “Make way immediately.”

“Yes, sirlA dozen security officers stepped aside to make way.

Nestor became agitated. “Hendrick, how could you let him go? He broke my son’s leg!”

Xylia responded accordingly to his words, You are Mr. Zinn, right? Let me remind you that it was your son who brought people and initiated the assault on Mr. Kramer. He was simply defending himself.”

Nestor wanted to say something else, but upon noticing the subtle look Hendrick gave him, he immediately closed his mouth.

Magnus didn’t leave immediately. Instead, he swaggered over to Nestor and said with a smirk, “I’ll remember this debt you owe me.”

The threatening tone his voice carried was evident.

Nestor glared at him intently and said in a deep voice, “Don’t worry, this isn’t over between us.”

His son became disabled, and he was slapped in the face.

As the head of the Zinn family, he had never been so embarrassed before!

If he never sought revenge on Magnus, would there be any dignity left for him to keep his foothold in Yiefmery?

As he saw Magnus swaggering away, Nestor’s demeanor turned completely gloomy.

After Hendrick dismissed the crowd, he came to Nestor’s side and said, “Nestor, I advise you to let this matter go.”

“What?”

Nestor’s expression turned stone–cold. He asked gravely, “Hendrick, do you know the background of that guy?”

Hendrick shook his head. “I’m not sure, but it’s definitely not that simple.”

“Who was that woman who just took him away?” Nestor pressed for more information.

“I’m sorry. Forgive me, but I cannot disclose this information,” Hendrick said, still shaking his head before walking back into the security division building.

“Mr. Zinn, do you need to go to the hospital for your injury?” Glen asked with concern.

“No need!”

Nestor’s face turned pale with anger as he ordered, “Find out everything about that guy. No matter what it takes, I want to know all the details about

him.”

“Yes!” Glen replied respectfully.

Meanwhile, Magnus returned to the ground floor of the Hovalt Group building once again.

Just as he got out of the car, Xylia suddenly asked, “Did you say that you work here?”

Magnus nodded. “Yeah, is there a problem?”

Xylia frowned and asked, “How did you end up working here? And what were you doing here exactly?”

“Why couldn’t I work here?” Magnus chuckled playfully and said mysteriously, “I’m not just working here. Actually, this company is mine.”

“Hah,” Xylia chuckled sarcastically.

“If the CEO of this company wasn’t my best friend, I might have believed your nonsense,” Xylia thought.”

She didn’t say those words out loud but rolled her eyes at Magnus before driving away with a flourish.”

Magnus shook his head without uttering a word and strode into the company building.

“Wasn’t that the guy who beat Mr. Zinn up yesterday?”

“It seemed like it!”

“How could he be unharmed?”

Magnus‘ appearance immediately attracted a lot of attention.

He didn’t pay much attention to this and went straight to the CEO’s office familiarly.

Magnus pushed the door open with a bang.

He saw Kristin staring out of the window, lost in thought, while Martin was sitting on the couch talking non–stop about something.

Upon hearing the noise, both the father and daughter looked over simultaneously.

“Magnus, you finally arrived! Come, have a seat. What would you like to drink? Coffee or juice?”

Martin’s eyes were shimmering like gold. Magnus was a bit confused.

Yesterday, Martin was still sneering at him and giving him a cold attitude, but today Martin’s attitude changed abruptly.

“Dad, please leave first!” Kristin suddenly spoke.

Um…” Martin was dumbfounded for a moment before laughing and said, “All right. You young people have a chat. Go ahead.”

After that, he gently opened the door and left.

Kristin stared at Magnus and questioned, “I’m asking you, why did you transfer all the equity under my name?”

Upon hearing this, Magnus asked in astonishment, “What? You’re not happy with being given the equity?”

Kristin raised her eyebrows and asked, “What do you mean by that?”

“All right, I’ll be straightforward. I want to take responsibility for you…”
