My Ex-Wife’s Glamorous Comeback by Zenobia Nelson

Chapter 30

Chapter 30

Charlotte disappeared for three years.

In those days, Zachary could often think of the time when she was pregnant and wandering in front

of him.

He often imagined how Charlotte held her belly when she fell into the cold Ruby River.

Those pictures became his nightmare at midnight, plaguing him for so many years.

“Zachary! You bastard!”

Unable to get rid of him, Charlotte was kissed by Zachary again. She was so angry that her heart beat vigorously and finally she bit him hard.

The smell of blood in Charlotte’s mouth became stronger, but Zachary still refused to let her go.

Suddenly, a phone vibrated.

It was Zachary’s.

Finally, Zachary slowly released Charlotte.

Looking at the screen, Zachary frowned. It was his mother Mary who called him.

It was the first time that Mary called Zachary since he left three years ago

He answered the phone, “Hello, mom”

“Come to the hospital now. Your grandfather is in hospital!”

Zachary trembled and had a serious look on his face in an instan

The voice on the phone was not loud, but Charlotte could hear clearly in the quiet space that Jerry was in hospital!

Then she couldn’t help but feel nervous.

Half an hour later, Zachary and Charlotte entered the hospital almost at the same time.

Mary, Olivia, and the butler of the Sullivan family were standing outside the emergency room.

Zachary’s father, elder brother, and younger brother were all abroad now, and they were all rushing back when they got the news.

When Zachary arrived, Olivia walked up to him, crying.

“Zachary, Grandpa…” Olivia murmured. She was frightened.

Charlotte came directly into her loungewear without changing her clothes. At this moment, when Mary pulled a long face when she saw Charlotte.

Zachary hugged Olivia and comforted her.

Mary looked at the door of the emergency room.

At this moment, she was so cold and lonely.

If something bad happened to Jerry, Mary would be the hostess of the oldest generation in the family. Just imagine the pressure she was under at this time.

Time passed slowly.

Two hours passed quickly.

The door of the resuscitation room finally opened. The doctor came out with his face bathed in sweat. Mary walked up to him and asked, “Doctor, how is father?”

my

“Mrs. Johnston and Miss Lynn, please come in. Mr. Sullivan wants to see you!”

Everyone was surprised that Jerry only wanted to see Mary and Charlotte.

Jerry didn’t even ask to see his dearest grandson and granddaughter.

At this moment, everyone looked at the doctor nervously.

At this time, Mary turned around and glanced at Charlotte coldly as if she was warning Charlotte.

The next moment, the doctor said, “You must prepare for the worst. After all, Mr. Sullivan is old.”

This sentence made everyone present feel extremely nervous.

Especially, Charlotte knew what the doctor meant when he told them to prepare for the worst.

Charlotte also knew what he would suffer in the future

She walked towards the door slowly.

When Charlotte passed by Zachary, he held her wrist so heavily that he almost crushed her hand. bone.

Zachary warned and prayed, “Don’t provoke my grandpa at this time!”

His implication was clear, but everyone knew it.

Jerry was sent to the hospital at this time. It was most likely related to the morning report, and Charlotte also knew it.

Charlotte shook off Zachary’s hand fiercely without saying a word.

Of course, Charlotte knew what to do.

When she saw Jerry, Charlotte felt that she breathed with difficulty. Mary was already standing beside Jerry.

“Dad, they are all on their way back. You must get well soon. Mary said in a soft voice.

Mary changed her indifferent attitude and became gentle and soft only when Jerry was in front of

her.

However, Jerry looked at Charlotte who was standing not far away. He raised his hand with difficulty, waved at her, and said, “Charlotte.”
