Chapter 29
Tory POV
Michael seemed to love my hair up with the tiny ringlets around my face. I pull it up and let a few curls brush against my face. I am not putting on a lot of makeup. I have never worn a lot, and I am not starting today. I dab a little foundation on my face and apply mascara. I will put on lip gloss after I put on my wedding gown.
I hear Tee running up the stairs excited. She comes into the door with the big bag. "He finally got back. I think he was taking his sweet time. He was probably afraid of what I would make him do next," Tee says. "Are you being mean to the young wolves?' I ask her.
"I am never mean to anyone," Tee says.
Tee places the wedding bag on the bed. She looks over my hair. She takes the comb and starts fixes it. She moves ringlets around my face. "Wait," she says excitedly.
She looks in the wedding gown bag. "Yes, it is in here," Tee says.
She pulls a tiara out of the bag and rushes over to me. She carefully places the tiara on my head. She takes her time positioning it in just the right place. "That is perfect for my Luna," Tee says.
I look in the mirror at myself. "Wow, I love it," I say.
"Okay, now for the important part. We have to get you into this dress," Tee says.
Tee places the dress on the floor. "Step in," Tee says. I step into the dress, and Tee pulls it up my body. The beautiful white lace itchy against my skin.
"This dress is not comfortable, but it is beautiful," Tee says.
"It is perfect, Tee. I love it," I say.
I look at myself in the mirror as she zips the dress and starts fastening the buttons. "Now for the most horrible part of all of this," Tee says. She pulls the waist and cinches it tight.
"I cannot breathe in this devilish device," I say.
"I know it is horrible, but maybe Alpha will have you out of it fast tonight," Tee says.
After she says it, her face changes expressions, and she looks at the ground, upset with herself with what she said. "I am sorry. I should not have said that after what happened," Tee says.
"Tee, I had my cry. I sobbed. I talked to Michael about everything that happened. I want to be with my husband tonight, and I should be able to sleep with my husband, and if I am not able to, then I will deal with it, but you said nothing wrong because either way, he will have to help me out of this dress or I will rip it off," I say.
Tee smiles at me. Her face lights back up. "I did not tell Henry everything. I will tell him tonight. I was afraid I would ruin your big day if I did. I want us to be alone when I tell him," Tee says.

I turn around. "I would hug you and tell you it will be okay, but I am too uncomfortable to be of any help right now. How in the hell did you get married in this beautiful uncomfortable garment from hell?" I ask Tee.
"I loved this dress so much that I did not care how uncomfortable it was. After the wedding, Henry had me out of it before we got out of the church. Hmmm. What a good memory. We made love in my dressing room. I miss having him around all the time," Tee says.
"At least we are home, so if we go missing, don't let anyone look for us," I say to Tee.
"I promise to keep everyone occupied while Alpha helps you out of this dress," Tee says.
Tee goes back to the bag and grabs some shoes out of the bag. "These shoes are a size eight," Tee says.
"Perfect, I wear a size eight," I say.
Tee sets the shoes on the floor, and I slide into the shoes. I stand tall and look into the mirror. The beautiful garment from hell and tiara make me look like a queen. "You are perfect, Luna," Tee says.
"Thank you for this beautiful torture device," I say.
Tee laughs. She keeps admiring me in the mirror. "You are so beautiful. Alpha is a lucky man," Tee says.
"I am the lucky one," I say.
"Okay, I have to slip into something cute, then I will round up the groom, and we will get this party started. I will be back in ten minutes to get you," Tee says.
"I will be waiting," I say.
Tee leaves the room to go get ready. I hope she and Henry are okay after she talks to him tonight. I know she is hurting, but she shoves it so far down inside her and buries it. I want to talk to her and let her vent. She has been so good to me. She deserves a friend. Instead of her taking the time for herself, she is helping me prepare for my special day.
I step over to the window and look out at everyone waiting for us. There are rows and rows of people. The fairy lights and lights mounted in the ground are beautiful. I cannot believe she did all of this just for me. I see Michael standing waiting for me with Joe, who looks grumpy and pissed at the world.
The door to my bedroom opens. "Let's do this, Luna," Tee says.
I follow her out of the bedroom and down the stairs. It is time to say I do.
