Chapter More 74
Chapter 74: The Revelation
Sandra presented an air of embarrassment.
“If my code is removed and you find out who that person is, how would you punish her?”
Debra spoke up immediately.
“Relieve her of her company duties recoup the fine, and we will the police.”
The management had no objections, as this was the standard. procedure.
Sandra promptly commanded someone beside her, “Alright, call the police now.”
Debra felt that Sandra’s actions were somewhat abnormal, but she
didn’t dwell on it.
Standing outside the crowd, Joey was slightly agitated.
“Mr. Cooper, I think I might be able to guess who this person is.”
Wesley observed Sandra’s composed expression.
Suddenly, he sensed an aura of tranquility about her.
Because of Earl’s arrogance, she had momentarily lost control.
However, apart from that incident, she rarely showed much fluctuation in her demeanor.
Observing her from a distance, she resembled the serene pines amidst the mountains.
“Mr. Cooper?”
Joey’s hand waved in front of his eyes.
It was then that Wesley returned to his senses.
Subsequently, Joey received a piercing glare from him.
It was truly terrifying.
Joey retracted his neck.
He dared not set eyes on the young mistress again.
A mere glance, and he felt his life could be at risk!
Once Wesley’s ears were graced with silence, he subconsciously caressed the beads on his wrist.
That sense of her tranquility felt as if it emanated from the beads.
-His gaze softened.
At that moment, Sandra opened her computer screen.
“Everyone gather.”
Debra approached.
Sandra’s fingers danced rapidly across the keyboard.
The computer’s firewall transformed into streams of code that
flickered across the screen.
Then, the screen, previously dark, suddenly brightened.
As if someone was cleaning the page.
With each sweep, more of the screen was revealed.
“There we go!”
“The hair appears long. A woman?”
“When did our company acquire such a formidable female technician?
Debra, observing the hairstyle, was beset by an ominous hunch.
She wanted to stop Sandra, but it was too late.
The person’s forehead became visible.
Followed by the eyes.
The nose.
The cheeks.
The executives watched the computer screen unblinkingly.
They seemed to recognize the visage.
Suddenly, the entire technical department fell silent.
Everyone held their breath awaiting the full reveal.
But the loading icon seemed to mock their impatience.
It slowed even further.
Just as everyone was on the brink of madness, the image finally emerged fully.
It was Angelȧ!
Angela’s face was distorted with a maniacal grin.
Just then, the police arrived.
Sandra stood up.
She was eloquent in her dealings with the police.
As the matter involved internal corporate issues, the police sought the management’s opinion.
After all, with a change in narrative from them, Angela could be
exonerated.
But
If Debre did not insist on finding the perpetrator,
there could have been a chance for redemption.
Unfortunately…
Sandra said,
“Even though she stole the keys, without my final fingerprint verification, she couldn’t access our internal systems.”
“There was no harm, so I intentionally obscured her appearance.”
“I did not wish to escalate the matter.”
“But…”
Her face laced with sorrow.
Debra was nearly unable to stand, supported promptly by her
assistant.
“Officer, please join us in the office for discussion.” Debra said.
The officer nodded.
Debra, summoning her strength, exited the technical department.
The executives followed without uttered a word. Their intent was
clear.
A resolution was necessary today.
Sandra, witnessing the scene, couldn’t help but be amused.
After dealing with Angela previously, she anticipated a reprisal.
However, she hadn’t known Angela was a hacker.
Upon her arrival today, she immediately inspected the system.
Discovering her adversary’s decent skills, but still inferior to hers,
Sandra worried no more.
Upon recognizing it was Angela, her strategy for today had been established.
She purposely withheld Angela’s face from view.
She was awaiting Debra’s arrival, forcing her to publicly suggest
punishment for Angela.
She even ensured the police were called.
They want to plan against her?
Be prepared for the consequences.
After the crowd dispersed, Joey, noticing Sandra glancing over, waved
to her.
Sandra paid him no heed.
Instead, she fixed her gaze upon Wesley, leaning on the railing.
His expression serene, his eyes were twinkling with gentle light.
As if the sun itself had been shattered and embedded into his pupils.
Despite the distance between them, the warmth radiated from him was palpable.
She couldn’t help but smile.
Joey: “…“You love birds!
Wesley finally came back to his senses.
A rare occurrence indeed, his thoughts drifting to a time when he was abroad.
As he reigned in his reverie, his presence once again turned frosty.
We The The
With an Icy face, he departed with Joey.
Sandra, “???”
What kind of person is he?
Bizarre.
Sandra glanced at the clock, timed perfectly. After briefing her colleague about the work, she left the company.
She was on her way to deliver the antidote to Rebecca.
And follow up with a check–up for Rebecca’s father.
Upon arrival at Rebecca’s small house, she frowned. “How can you live in such a place?”
– Rebecca, however, felt content, “This is already good. It’s on an upper
level, not a basement.”
Sandra administered the antidote to her.
“All my doctoral students are allocated housing.”
Rebecca could hardly believe het ears, “What?”
Sandra was earnest,“It is located near the hospital. The area is rather noisy, I hope you won’t mind.”
Rebecca was too grateful to mind.
She burst into tears.
“You’ve been exceedingly kind to me.”
“I hope you can settle your affairs within a month. My experiment requires you to take charge as soon as possible.” Sandra said.
Rebecca sat upright, “What about the person who poisoned me? Are we going to confront her?”
