Chapter 55: Don’t Call Me Little Girl.

Under Sandra’s serious gaze, a glimmer of light flashed in Jefferson’s

eyes.

She really looked like that person.

His tone became much gentler.

“Little girl, I’m not as free as you think.”

Sandra frowned, “Don’t call me little girl.”

Before going out, she was called Ms. Hill or Mrs. Cooper, which she thought was pretty cool.

Now she felt like she was being scolded by her master.

She was not happy.

Jefferson smiled.

“Your temper…”

Her temper was also like that person.

But he didn’t say it aloud.

Sandra looked at him with a frown, “Something is not right about you.”

Jefferson asked calmly, “What, I’m unstable?”

“No.”

Sandra got a little annoyed. “Don’t try to see another person in me.”

Jefferson’s expression slightly changed.

He underestimated Sandra.

“Alright, take your medications, and you’ll get better.”

With that, Sandra walked out.

Adam and Wesley were waiting outside.

Sandra had been inside for three to four hours.

They were very worried.

Adam even broke out in a cold sweat.

When he saw her, he felt alive at last.

“How’s him?”

Sandra rubbed her temples. “You’ll see.”

Upon hearing this, Adam ran inside excitedly.

“General, are you really okay now?”

Then, Adam’s voice of surprise came from inside.

Sandra rubbed her ears and looked at Wesley in the wheelchair.

“Let’s go.”

Wesley didn’t intend to leave immediately but raised his hand to stop her.

Sandra frowned.

Was something wrong?

Soon, a dozen bodyguards walked out from the corner.

These bodyguards exuded a murderous aura.

And they were staring at them.

They didn’t seem to be Adam’s subordinates.

Sandra sighed. “It’s already annoying to be brought here, and now I

have to clean up their mess.”

Wesley looked at Joey and asked, “Can you handle these people?”

Joey counted those people and estimated their combat power.

“Mr. Cooper, can things here be damaged?”

Sandra chuckled, “Go ahead. Mr. Deleon will be responsible.”

Joey immediately cheered up, “Okay!”

He rushed forward and started fighting with those people.

Joey managed to stop the dozen people from approaching Wesley alone.

He was indeed skilled.

Sandra raised an eyebrow.

“Who’s Joey’s master?”

Wesley’s voice was quiet, but it pierced through the sound of the fight and reached her ears.

“He taught himself.”

Sandra was speechless.

So, Joey was a genius?

Joey quickly knocked down all these people.

Sandra walked over, “I overestimated them.”

Joey cautiously protected her and kept a close eye on these people.

“Who sent you?”

Sandra bent down and looked at one of the bodyguards, sensing the resentment in his eyes.

She immediately took out a silver needle and directly inserted it into

his neck.

The man fell to the ground, numb frain the neck down.

He realized that he couldn’t move.

Furious, he cursed at Sandra in a foreign language.

Sandra narrowed her eyes. “You’re foreign?”

The man yelled in English, “Kill me!”

Sandra smiled, “Joey, search them.”

Joey immediately took action.

Soon, a book was found on one of the men.

Joey was puzzled.

Why did they steal a very old ancient book that almost crumbled.

when touched?

Were they really thieves?

“Mrs. Cooper, take a look at this.”

Now Sandra came first in his heart.

Sandra was surprised to see the book.

It was the ancient medical book “Magical Herbs“.

Anyone who studied medicine had heard of this book.

It recorded many prescriptions and medicinal materials that were not. available on the market.

In short, it was like an encyclopedia of medicine.

On the first day Sandra started learning medicine from her master, she heard of this book.

But…

This book should belong to her master.

Why was it in the hands of these people?

“Have you been to Reyder Mountain?”

That was where Sandra and her master secluded themselves.

Joey gave the bodyguard a hard kick. “Mrs. Cooper is asking you!”

The man sneered, “Do whatever you want.”

He said this in English.

Sandra drew a conclusion.

“Seems like you’ve been in Helwanis for a long time.

“Joey, take him away and interrogate him. Make sure to find out why they wanted this book.”

Joey nodded and dragged the leader out the door.

The remaining people were controlled by the bodyguards in the villa and dragged outside.

Just then, Adam came out of the room.

He also heard the commotion outside, but Jefferson wanted to see how capable Sandra was and stopped him from coming out to help.

So, when he came out, he had an apologetic smile on his face.

“Sorry, Mr. Cooper, Mrs. Cooper, I was a little busy.”

He probably felt that his apology was insincere.

He cleared his throat to break the awkward silence.

“Those people were deliberately let in.”

Sandra sneered, “Thanks.

Senda shook the book in her hand. See? I can make use of this thing.

Adem couldn’t see clearly what the book was, so he didn’t pay much attention to it. Up to you.”

Sandra nodded. ‘Send me the transfer contract as soon as possible.”

Adam was curious, ‘Mis. Cooper, what do you want to do with the piece of land

Sandra asked, “Will you provide technical support no matter what I do?

The piece of land was right behind the hospital, and Adam was eager to work with Sandra.

‘Sure, I’ll be there whenever you need me. I can allocate resources from my hospital for you.”

If Adam knew what would happen afterward, he would be very grateful to himself at this moment.

“Good.” Sandra smiled, “Don’t bother me with the patient unless he’s dying.”
