Chapter 13 

Leaving the hospital, Rick emerged into the world with a newfound sense of purpose. The weight of his guilt still hung heavy on his shoulders, but he was determined to seek redemption for the sins he had committed. 

His first stop was to those he had wronged, his pack, his friends and those he had betrayed. With humility in his heart, Rick sought out each person, offering heartfelt apologies and asking for forgiveness. 

Some were hesitant to trust him again, while others welcomed him back with open arms, but Rick understood that forgiveness would not come easily, nor would it erase the pain he had caused. 

Next, Rick embarked on a journey to find my final resting place in Glorywood Pack. 

After Riverstone Pack‘ s spies‘ massive arrest at that time, my death was also being announced. It was not only shocking the Pack members, but also Rick‘ s parents and my parents. So, after that, my parents came to the Deathwhisper Pack. 

My mother cried hysterically when she saw me. She didn’t expect that her beloved daughter would be brutally murdered like that. 

This made me cry and want to hug her. But, my hand just passed through. 

Meanwhile, my father stood silently, his face flat without expression as if he regretted agreeing to our marriage. Since Rick’s condition was unstable at that moment, it was Rick‘ s parents who repeatedly apologized for his son’s mistakes before my parents left the Deathwhisper Pack with me. 

I could see that parents were very reluctant to forget it, but since there was no use crying over the spilt milk, they just hoped that the tragedy would not happen again in the future.
