Chapter 110~ 

Jenna said. “I go it. Everything is under my control.” 

After she hung up the phone, Scott’s call came in. 

He said, “Jenna, I’ve secured your stay at Silverbrook Tower. You promised me that you would divorce me as soon as I completed the task. I hope you haven’t forgotten that!” 

Jenna slightly smirked. “Of course, I haven’t forgotten. But although I’ve successfully stayed here, they haven’t truly accepted me yet. Don’t forget, your real task was to make them fully trust and accept me.” 

Scott retorted, Jenna! Don’t push it! Getting you to stay was already the limit. Do you have any idea how many unspeakable things you’ve done in the past?! 

“Even your own parents and brother don’t want to mention your name anymore! They didn’t even want to visit you in the hospital when they heard you were injured. If it wasn’t for my persuasion, the castle would never have been returned to you!” 

He added angrily, “At least have some conscience! I’ve helped you, so you must divorce me!” 

However, Jenna didn’t get worked up. 

She looked at her nearly chipped manicure with a hint of admiration in her eyes and said, ‘Don’t be in such a hurry. From whari see, even if you get divorced now, the Lewis family won’t let you marry Lola anytime soon.” 

“Lola?” Ethan’s expression instantly darkened. “She’s not Lola! She is Layla! I’m warning you. You better watch what you say in front of Layla!” 

Jenna scoffed disdainfully, “Scott, you have to admit, she has had such a past, a past you were not part of. 

“The name Lola‘ has been used by her much longer than ‘Layla, She is Lola. That’s an undeniable fact, one that neither you nor I can change. Denying it won’t help.” 

Upon hearing Jenna’s tone, which seemed to carry a hint of mockery, Scott was infuriated. 

He furiously thought. ‘I should have found an opportunity to kill Jenna, to end this once and for all! If it weren’t for the fact that we’re not divorced yet, I definitely wouldn’t be holding back now!‘ 

Scott said, “Jenna, I don’t have time to waste with you. Just say what you want. What exactly is your purpose?” 

Jenna smiled slightly, having achieved her goal. 

She said, “My purpose is simple. In a couple of days, there will be a holiday festival. It’s a tradition for the Lewis family to gather and go out together. You need to find a way to include me especially on a cruise. 

“How you do it is up to you, but I must be included, and you must ensure Layla will be there that day 

Scott became wary, asking. “What are you planning to do? Jenna, haven’t I warned you not to harm Layla?” 

Jenna assured him, “Don’t worry, I obviously won’t harm her. If I want to continue living with the Lewis family, I’ll need to -protect her. 

“Scon, I hope you realize it. This isn’t the time for you to make choices. You’re not in a position to choose. You must agree to my conditions, or who knows, I might accidentally slip up one day, and she won’t trust you anymore.” 

Upon hearing that, Scott felt utterly enraged yet dared not unleash it 

His hand holding the phone was clenched so tightly that the veins were bulging. If Scott could, he truly wished he could kill Jenna to vent his frustration. 

Scott replied, “Fine, but you have to agree to one more condition from me.” 

“No problem,” Jenna responded. 

Ethan said, “Layla, let me go with you. I don’t have anything else to do anyway.”

He was still not at ease letting Lola go to see Jenna alone. 

Ethan pondered, I don’t know what Jenna is up to. She told Lola that she had just come back and there were many things in the house yet to be sorted, so she wanted Lola to come over and help clean the house. Clearly, that’s a job for the servants!” 

Lola said, “Haven’t you been busy with the company merger with Mom and Dad lately? Don’t worry about me, Ethan. I can handle myself. I’m not a child anymore. Besides, I’ve been fully awake and alert for a while now. You don’t need to be 

anxious about me.” 

Ethan scratched his head, not because he was worried about Lola but because he was concerned about Jenna, who was notoriously untrustworthy. 

He irritably said, “Cleaning is supposed to be the servant’s job. Jenna asking you over is really quite presumptuous!” 

Lola chuckled, That just shows Jenna doesn’t see me as an outsider. 

“Alright, don’t worry about me. I can handle it on my own. 

“Goodbye, Ethan!” 

With that, Lola didn’t give Ethan a chance to respond and turned to leave. 

She didn’t even bring Tina along. Lola just brought a driver and set off. 

Even though Ethan was still worried, he couldn’t follow her. 

He thought, ‘If I overreact, it might just make Lola suspicious. Besides, I’ve already warned Jenna. She won’t say anything too 

outrageous. 

Moreover, Lola’s driver was a skilled person arranged by Ethan. If anything seemed amiss, the driver would immediately protect her. 

“Layla, do you remember this? It’s our photo from when we were younger, Jenna said as she flipped through a photo album and found a picture of them as children. 

Lola’s heart softened at the sight of the childhood photo. 

They were both smiling happily in the picture, and Lola couldn’t help but feel nostalgic. 

She remarked, “We’re both holding apples that look exactly the same.” 

Jenna spoke with ambiguous intent. “Indeed, we’re twins after all We like the same things, even down to apples. It’s quite a 

coincidence.” 

“Jenna, you actually asked me to come here today because you have something to tell me, right?” Lola, sensing something was off, asked straightforwardly. She was confident Jenna would answer. 

“I didn’t expect you to notice, Jenna said with a smile. “Actually, Scott told me you might have misunderstood him because

“I invited you here today to clarify that there’s nothing between us. 

“That day I told you to mention my name in front of Scott because I had feelings for him once, and I confessed to him. But he has always had only you in his heart, not me. So, he is innocent in this matter. 

Upon hearing that, Lola was slightly taken aback. She hadn’t thought much about the issue with Scott, 

But after Jenna’s explanation, Lola felt that her attitude toward Scott had been somewhat unjustified. 

Lola said, “I understand now, thank you for clarifying.” 

Jenna chuckled, but her eyes were filled with sarcasm, “It’s nothing. I just didn’t want my words to cause any misunderstandings between you two, 

“My purpose in saying that was just to prove that what I said was credible and that the Lewis family indeed deceived you.” 

At the mention of deception, Lola immediately looked worried. 

She didn’t want to believe it, yet all the details seemed to point toward the fact that they were lying.
