Miss Marvelous: Chaotic Summer

Chapter 13

Me and my foster dad only walked about twelve feet away from the SRC center building , when we heard the high pitched screaming start.

Confused, we both turned back to face the building and realized no wonder why people were freaking out; There were massive (about four times the size of an average man), very muscular, hideous creatures crashing through inside.

Rushing back to the building, my dad offered help to anybody who needed it.

Meanwhile I slunk back behind a tall, thick oak tree and raised my right arm (with the Ice Diamond Bracelet on) in front of my chest, before it glowed bright white for a few seconds and I was back into my superhero form (AKA: Miss Marvelous or Marvel, for short).

Sprinting into action, I darted back towards the building, bursting through the doors as a majestic white stallion with a flowing mane and tail.

Inside, those mangey creatures were crawling all over the place.

It was a disaster.

The creatures were trashing the secret corporation building and killing the people who work there.

I guess they had enough of this company treating them like crap I thought, watching as the fight scene unfolded in front of me.

However, one question was stuck in my head like glue.

If the bite of one of these monstrous creatures makes the victim turn into one of them, then why are there so many lifeless bodies on the ground?

Maybe it affects only the rarest human blood type, blood type C.

A young girl’s scream brought me back to reality and I spotted her up against a display shelf, with one of the large muscular human-like creatures hunching over her with its sharp teeth snapping.

After leaping over broken glass and chewed up pieces of furniture, I used my strong hind legs to kick the monster out of the way.

Luckily, my aim was accurate and sent it flying into the back wall, sending the creature into unconsciousness.

Then, I carefully picked up the child by the shirt collar and began to gallop towards the front entrance when three of those creatures tackled me down to the ground.

Thankfully, the kid slid to safety, sliding out the front doors of the SRC.

While being pinned down to the ground, I shapeshifted back into my human form and an ice blade formed in my right hand.

Skillfully, I slashed at their throats causing them to stumble back off of me.

With a few splattered spots of light blue liquid on my face and purple cloak, I popped back up to my feet and was about to slash at another muscular creature that rushed forward to attack me when I noticed a figure in a long black coat with white stripes dashing towards the elevator, with four robot black tentacles coming out of its back.

What the hell was that? I thought, dodging a swinging claw of the monstrous creature that was currently battling with me.

That must have been their leader and they’re after the relics.

I swiftly slashed at the creature’s throat, spraying more of that light blue liquid onto me and my outfit.

Fortunately, the elevator opened empty when I got there, thinking they’ve taken the battle to the next level (pun intended:)

I got into it and quickly closed the elevator doors, before any unwanted passengers could come in with me.

I waited patiently until that elevator bell rang and rushed out to spot the villain in the science lab.

There were only a couple of those massive ugly human-like creatures lingering around (which I killed while running after the figure).

I ran through the doorway of the thick titanium metal door and stopped dead in my tracks in the spotless white room with three doors.

The figure was standing in front of the ‘Magical Weapons’ doors and was fighting off a couple of those annoying strong ugly creatures.

They used the strong closed claw tips on the ends of the robotic tentacles to impale both of them through their chests at once before tossing the lifeless bodies away.

Then the figure turned to me.

It was a girl wearing a tall black top hat and red round sunglasses, with a long black and white trench coat as well as a pair of tall black boots to finish the look.

“I assume you’re the hero?” asked the mysterious girl in a sassy tone.

“Yeah, you got that damn right. And I suppose you’re the villain who wants to steal the relics?” I shot back.

“Steal?” echoed the girl before she opened up her robotic tentacle claws, picked me up by the arms and pinned me up high against the wall.

“Steal? I’m not here to steal, we’re on the same team”.
