Chapter 130
Chapter 130 Had Better Not Say Anything
She ignored Tobias's stiff smile and closed the door directly.
The driver hurriedly drove away out of consideration for Anastasia's feelings.
Jaxon sneered behind him, glanced at Tobias, shook his head, turned around dignifiedly, and left.
Tobias clicked his tongue and immediately felt that he had lost.
Jaxon's position was relatively high!
Christian was no match for him!
He took out his mobile phone and called Christian.
"Bro, how have things been between you and Anastasia lately? Has she forgiven you?"
Christian's voice was lazy and calm, unable to hide his joy.
"Of course, she forgave me a long time ago. Remarriage is just a matter of time, and things are going smoothly between us."
After she accepted the money, she must have known his sincerity and was deeply moved in her heart.
However, Tobias didn't think the situation was exactly like that.
He hesitated and then touched his head in doubt.
"Why do I think her progress with Jaxon is smoother?"
If this continued, Christian might be kept in the dark even if Anastasia and Jaxon were married.
"Shut up, you jinx!"
After Christian finished speaking in a cold voice, he hung up the phone directly.
He rejected negative news.
Tobias initially wanted to talk about what he saw and heard tonight.
Christian disregarded what others said again!
He swallowed all the words.
As he was about to return home, he saw Terence running out hurriedly.
Tobias stopped him. "Where are you going?"
Terence pushed him away, and his expression showed a sense of urgency.
"Romy and his child were hit by a car..."
He ran off in a panic.
Tobias muttered from behind, "Is that really your biological child?"
Unfortunately, no one answered that question.
In Anastasia's car, Eleanor had drunk quite a lot and leaned on Anastasia's shoulder, humming a song softly.
"I think Jaxon really likes you. You should consider it."
While Anastasia lowered her head to inform Derek about tonight's schedule, she heard Eleanor's words. She calmly smiled, "He has an aura very similar to Christian's, but I can't figure him out." Since she was talking to her best friend, she didn't have to worry about anything she said.
Eleanor was silent momentarily. "That's right. His face is too similar to Christian's. It'll be embarrassing if you call out the wrong name when he gets up in the morning!"
The driver in front was silent.
He really wished he could pretend he didn't hear anything.
After finishing speaking, Eleanor patted the front seat, clutching her chest.
"Marvin, find the nearest hospital and stop."
Anastasia was taken aback momentarily and looked at her with concern.
"What's wrong? Are you uncomfortable?"
Eleanor scratched her arm. "Maybe there is anise in the wine I drank. I'm a little allergic to anise."
"Then go to the hospital quickly. Why didn't you say it earlier?"
Anastasia was slightly anxious. She knew that Eleanor was allergic to anise and had once almost suffocated when she was still a child due to the allergy.
The driver didn't dare to waste any time, so he speeded up and went to the nearest hospital.
Anastasia helped Eleanor to the emergency room, but there were still people in line, and they had to wait.
She anxiously went over to check the situation, only to see Terence hugging a girl she didn't know.
The girl seemed quite young and looked like she was still in college. She was dressed in a simple outfit.
She cuddled in his arms and cried, with her arms and legs in plaster casts.
Terence comforted her in a soft voice, showing a demeanor that completely differed from the meanness he used to display.
Anastasia frowned. She initially thought Terence liked Beatrice!
It turned out to be someone else!
Terence looked up and saw her. His face became cold, and he let go of the girl's shoulders. He stared at Anastasia and threatened her, "You'd better not say anything."
