Lyceon - The dark lord

Lyceon placed Allison on the bed before accompanying her sobbing form. He laid himself beside her on the bed as she was clutching his shirt tightly in her fist, not wanting to leave him.

He hugged her from the side, putting her head on his chest and breathed in silently, letting her to calm down. Lyceon still remembered the scene of the war eight years ago when Keir and Thana escaped before Akira overpowered them in the battlefield with her power but ended up sacrificing her life. Now He remembered that Akira was Banshee too and Allison took all her powers from her mother. She might have transferred her magic particles into Allison.

"She... my Mom died.." Allison let out a sob as the scene was not getting away from her vision. Lyceon sighed and pulled her into his warm embrace tightly.

"She was such a great woman!" He kissed her crown and murmured, "And she gifted me a beautiful Angel too. I would never be able to repay her favors and sacrifices even if I gave my life."

Allison sniffed and raised her head to look at him. "I.. I was told that my mother died in some werewolf battle with enemies. She was also a healer like me. I was living with this lie my whole life and my father also didn't tell us the truth. Mason and I had no idea where she disappeared and never came back since that day." Allison cried, closing her eyes. She was shocked by the whole scenario.

Lyceon understood that she had seen too much in those two hours. He was getting edgy seeing her crying and shouting badly in her projected memories and Felicia was calling her to come back. But Allison was stuck there seeing her mother dying so Felicia asked him to intervene and convinced her to go back.

For a moment, Lyceon was afraid that He might lose her but fortunately she listened to him and broke her haze.

"Because they didn't want to hurt you!" He said, caressing her hair softly. Allison kept silent and snuggled into his warm body for some comfort. They stayed silent for a while before Lyceon broke the silence.

"I'm sorry, Angel. It's because of me that your mother is not with you today." Allison blinked slowly and raised her eyes to see his concerned features. Her perception of him had totally changed after seeing the past scenarios.

She came to know what He had faced much in his life without his parents and anyone's support. He was not the villain in the story. She still had her parents' love but He and Ashina couldn't get that love and affection. How unfortunate they are even after being the powerful creatures on the earth.

"It's not your fault. It was in her destiny. She had already sacrificed so much to fulfil her duties. And she couldn't have let you get hurt or die because she knew..." Allison swallowed before her eyes turned watery again, "... It will kill Me." Lyceon kept staring at her face and Allison had to lower her eyes, her face flushed under his heated gaze. He cupped her face and raised it up slightly before lowering his head and placing his cold lips on hers for a soft and short kiss. Allison's heart skipped its beat as goosebumps roused on her whole body. She turned numb.

"I promise you, I will always protect you. I couldn't lose you at any cost, my beautiful mate." He whispered near her lips and kissed her again, pouring his all feelings into the slow kiss. Allison sucked a deep breath and her hands travelled to his shoulders as He put her on the side ofthe bed before hovering over her without putting his weight on her.

"I got you after a long time, Moon goddess and your mother herself blessed you to me and I would never let you go ever. Willingly, or unwillingly. You are stuck with me for life, My love." He said as a sudden protective shiver ran down his body and He kissed her while being dominating.

Allison pursed her lips witnessing the old demanding Lyceon getting into his form, but she was not afraid of him anymore. He was her mate, her fated mate. And she was ready to give him a chance in this relationship.

He snuggled into her neck and kissed her there when she recalled something.

"Lyceon, why did you start the war eight years ago? You had revealed your identity to the world which put your and Ashina's life in danger. You could have waited for the right time until you got your powers and support from others." Allison asked him holding his shoulders to face him as He had snuggled his face to her neck breathing her scent which tickled her skin.

Everything was new to her, having a mate, more precisely a Lycan mate, who was now showing his affection to her and getting intimate with him in a way that was putting her whole body on fire, she was afraid. Afraid of giving in! "Can you please answer me!" She asked again, patting his side head. He sighed and pulled his face back to look into her gorgeous emerald eyes.

"Because Keir killed Rebecca's parents when he found them. Bernard and Rhea were only our family, they were like parents who raised us together with Rebecca. And losing them was the last string to break. I couldn't think wisely, Ali. I was supposed to take care of them, Ashina and Rebbeca. I was at the age of practicing my emerging powers but their death was a big blow to us. I attacked the vampire community revealing my identity and killing many enemies and traitors werewolves in rage." He took a deep breath shaking his head as if ridiculing his immature self.

"I jumped into the battlefield without informing Ashina and taking my pack. But I was unaware of his bitch Thana who was a master in deceiving others with spells and killing them. Only after Akira saved me, I thought rationally and started to prepare my army to strengthen my packdom."

Allison's eyes burned listening to Thana's name which didn't go unnoticed by Lyceon. He kissed her forehead and brushed the area under her eyes to wipe her dry tears.

"But now I have got everything under control, I got You. I Am ready for this war to kill them once and for all. Because you are with me now, my mate, my strength." He threw her an affectionate smile.

Allison blinked, looking at his charming face and those dimples that always manage to thrill her and take her breath away. He was such a beauty. Her anger melted and her lips stretched into a small smile.

"You still think I'm after your powers to beat the enemies and take over the reign!" He asked with an amusing smirk. Allison bit her lower lip and closed her eyes. She was stupid to think like that but again He was being mysterious to her. She shook her head and heard his deep chuckle resounding the room.
