Lyceon - The dark lord

Chapter Chapter-40: Prophecy

"So you are Allison Griffin from the Midnight crescent pack? Interesting!" Rebecca stated before gesturing towards the couch to sit on. Allison looked around at the big room in the left side wing of the mansion.

She walked towards the couch and sat on it keeping her gaze at her alluring figure. She was such an enchanting beauty cladded in the purple nightie. If Allison could compare her to one element she would say it's nature. She had the essence of nature, green nature just like her skin.

Rebecca sat in front of her and examined her like a statue was placed in front of her. Then she showed her her bare arm on which Allison spotted red and brown spots.

"Can you heal them!" She asked Allison who nodded. She knew what Rebecca was doing.

She examined her skin with her touch and caressed it slowly. "Already healed!"

Rebecca raised her brows and smirked.

"But the spots are still here. See!"

Allison nodded again. "That's because you put them on. My job is to heal your real wounds, not the artificial spots."

Rebecca laughed out before leaning back, making herself comfortable.

"You are not as gullible as you look, Allison. I like your confidence but...."

Her amusing gaze turned blank as her smile faded, "It won't work on Lyceon. Don't try to oversmart any of them here. Someone had already done that. And she had to bore the consequences of his fury. You wouldn't want that!" Allison's brows pulled together at her remark. About whom she was talking?

"And what do you mean by that? Do you think I am someone who would go after him or act like a clingy bimbo to grab his attention? Rebecca, you like him. I get it. Go for him. If He like me, I can't help it. So it's better if you warn him about me instead of warning me. It's as simple as I Am saying. Stop your riddles."

And just like that her face contorted into something unbearable as Allison burst her bubbles.

'Didn't she realise I knew her little crush on her king?'

'Nobody gets away after provoking me to the extent that I have to crush their attitudes with my blunt truths.'

"So do you want to take any other test from me? I have things to do, you know!" Allison asked simply. She didn't have any obligation to her or her king.

"You..." Rebecca started as Allison was about to stand up. She raised her brows before nodding at Rebecca to continue speaking and sat back.

"You don't like him? I mean, You don't like Lyceon?" Rebecca seemed genuinely curious. Allison sighed and rolled her eyes.

"Why would I? He snatched my freedom, ripped me off my pack and home, and killed my family. And I should feel something for him? Like really?" Allison scowled at her stupid question. Rebecca blinked at her in surprise. And then closed her eyes before muttering something under her breath.

"Life is really something. It's just fucked up all of us. You don't get what you really desire!"

Allison kept silent at her statement.

"Did anyone tell you why you are here, Allison?" Rebecca asked out of the blue. Now that's what shocked Allison more. The girl who seemed annoyed with her presence was disclosing to her suddenly.

'Should I show my disregard regarding Lyceon to coax her into answering my question? She can keep the king and I will get my answers.' Allison pondered over her thoughts. She shook her head slowly.

"Hmm! I guess the time hasn't come yet and I am not the right one to tell you. But keep one thing in mind. You are here for a purpose. I don't know what your destiny holds for you but just remember that The 'dark walkers' kingdom is a safe place especially for you. And Lyceon didn't kill your family but they stood against him and his rulings. Don't blame him for anything. You will come to know about things soon. Just a little more time." Here goes my inquiries!

'Why are they throwing me from one room to another making the whole scenario chaotic.' Allison was pissed-off.

"Can you please tell me? If they need my help in anything I am willing to do but please Don't bind me here. I don't want to stay here!" She almost pleaded with her.

Rebecca was stunned by her plea and stood up. Her hazel green eyes were glowing with golden specks.

"Are you for real? You want to leave?" She hollered, making Allison startled by her voice.

"As if He will let you leave. You are...." She squeezed her eyes and cursed.

"Fuck! Allison! Don't say this to anyone. I can't explain things to you but please wait for the right time. Don't try anything stupid to escape. Mind my words!" Rebecca glared at her for a few seconds to print her words in her mind. "Then tell me the truth? What do you guys want from me?" Allison didn't back off and Demanded. Rebecca shook her head.

"I can't! Because we are still unclear about a few things before going to any certain conclusion. I would suggest you talk to Lyceon about this. All I know is that there was a prophecy wherein we all are connected to some extent. You are not here by any chance or luck, Allison. Everything happens for a reason. I don't have much knowledge about it, even if I speculate, Lyceon will have my head and mind you, I survive on my front body." Rebecca smiled sarcastically. And Allison recalled her horrendous form from last night. She thinned her lips and averted her gaze.

'It is really tiring when people play with your mind. But Prophecy?' Her statement turned the wheels around inside Allison's head.

'Did He bring me here for some purpose and He was only fooling me around showing his fake emotions of liking me. Does He want to use my powers to his benefit?'

Everything was messed up in her head but still she was grateful to Rebecca for confiding in her. Though she didn't give her much information but she disclosed enough to her to dig for some research. "You are lucky you know!"

Allison snapped her head in her direction. Rebecca was staring at her with some emotion in her eyes.

"Lyceon likes you, or even more than that. But you don't. I have never seen him so crazy around any woman. Those eyes never turned warm at anyone before. But your presence brought some changes into him. Don't go hard on him and his emotions."

'Does He have emotions?'

Allison wanted to laugh at her but it would be disrespectful. Who knows she may attack her with her ugly snake form.

"Life is really something. It's just fucked up all of us. You don't get what you really desire, you know!" Allison repeated her words before walking out of her room.
