Chapter 123 Marked the End of My First Love
It was Friday.
She had been in a daze since she got up in the morning.
Henry asked her to attend his family's gathering tomorrow.
She was still hesitant.
As a result, she had been distracted all day in school because of this.
Miranda didn't come to school today.
It seemed like she had something to do with her mother.
As for Henry, he seemed to have an important contract to sign today, so he was also very busy.
Therefore, she planned to take a bus back after school.
Unexpectedly, before she could walk out of the school gate, she was stopped by a familiar voice.
Rosa was stunned. She looked at the man uneasily.
"Mr... Mr. Wright..." she called meekly.
Andy walked towards her, frowning as he said in a sad voice, "Since when did you see me as a stranger..."
Rosa bit her lip and said nothing.
"Are you free to grab a coffee with me?" Andy was a little nervous. He was really afraid that she would refuse him.
Rosa avoided his gaze. After thinking for a while, she said, "Mr. Wright, I still have..."
"It won't take long... Even if we can't be lovers, Can we... not even be friends anymore?" Andy said on the verge of tears.
It was incredibly depressing for him.
For so many years, he had never fallen in love with any girl.
She was the only one he had fallen for.
But he never expected their relationship to end so soon.
No one knew how much pain he went through every night.
His heart ached a thousand times more than that day he attempted suicide!
If he had held on a little longer, would they have a different ending than this?
Rosa saw Andy's teary eyes and felt bad for him.
"Alright then."
She didn't refuse him anymore.
It was because she knew.
She owed him.
Andy finally showed a faint smile after hearing her reply.
After leaving school, the two of them got to a cafe nearby.
"One Blue Mountain and a cup of Mocha. Thank you!" Andy said to the waiter with a smile. "Okay, please wait a moment!"
The two of them sat on the sofa, watching the cars outside pass by. Both of them were silent. After a while, the waiter served two cups of coffee.
"Enjoy!" The waiter left.
Rosa didn't know what to say, so she took a sip of the coffee to fill the awkward silence.
"I heard from Miranda that she invited you to her party tomorrow?" Finally, Andy broke the silence.
Moreover, his eyes were filled with curiosity.
Rosa frowned and didn't say anything.
However, her silence had given him an answer.
"Is he trying to introduce you to his parents?" Andy asked, seemingly seen through his actions.
"How did you know?" Rosa asked instinctively.
After asking the question, she was immediately embarrassed.
How could she ask it out loud?
Andy was stunned at first, and then he showed an extremely disappointed expression.
As it turned out, they were dating.
Even though he found out that the both of them had gone abroad and lived at Silver Beach together...
It wasn't as hurtful as hearing that they were dating.
Seeing his gaze, Rosa felt inexplicably uncomfortable.
"Rosa... How... could you accept him?" He said in disbelief.
Rosa placed her hands on her legs and clenched her fists tightly. How should she explain it?
"So... forcing you into a relationship the right way to pursue you?"
He smiled bitterly, his laughter full of desolation and helplessness.
Hearing this, she looked up at him and said apologetically, "I'm sorry, Mr. Wright... I'm sorry!"
Andy looked at her and smiled bitterly. His smile was heart-wrenching.
"Mr. Wright, don't be like this..."
He was her first love.
Seeing him like this, her heart really felt very painful.
He took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down.
However, no one could see that he was pinched his leg hard.
It was as if he was punishing himself for being useless.
"Do you know his parents?"
He frowned and his voice was very gentle, but it was a question that she could not escape from.
"I apologize for my mother's past behaviour. But, Rosa, are you really ready to meet his parents? As far as I know, Mrs. Lewis is no better than my mother!" Rosa nodded and said in a muffled voice, "I know."
She could tell from Miranda's description.
"Do you really know? Did you know that he fell in love with a girl in middle school? And because she came from a poor family, her life was ruined by his mother?" Rosa was stunned and looked at him in disbelief.
"Then did you know who that girl married in the end? It's an old man in his fifties!"
Rosa's pupils twitched. She muttered to herself, "Married... to a man in his fifties..."
"That girl graduated from middle school and was about to enrol into a good high school. But she suddenly dropped out and got married!"
"How did it turn out like this?" Rosa asked.

"That was her best opportunity. Why did she drop out of middle school?" She wondered.
"Why do you think? That girl is beautiful and talented. Even if she can't be with Henry, she wouldn't have chosen to marry an old man. Have you ever thought about who was behind it?" Rosa widened her eyes in shock and said in a trembling voice, "You... you mean... his mother?"
Andy sighed and said, "I know that what I'm saying now would seem like I'm trying to ruin your relationship."
He had no choice but to smile bitterly.
"But, I just don't want you to get hurt..."
Although he was furious, he still couldn't bear to let her get hurt.
Tears welled up in Rosa's eyes.
"Rosa... no matter who you choose, you have to remember that I'll always be on your side and will never leave you!"
He didn't know if he would fall in love with someone else in the future.
But now, he could say with certainty that he wouldn't!
"Mr. Wright, I'm not worthy for you to treat me like this..."
She took a sip of the coffee in her hand.
The bitterness could faintly cover up the sour taste in her heart.
"Rosa!" Andy reached his hand across the table and grabbed her hand.
Rosa was stunned. She looked blankly at her hand which was holding the coffee being grabbed by him.
"Rosa, can we start over? I really love you. You should know that!"
Rosa frowned and subconsciously wanted to withdraw her hand.
However, Andy held her tightly and said, "My parents are abroad now. No one will stop me in the future. Rosa, I swear I won't let you suffer. Also, I won't care about your past with him!"
Rosa frowned, and a drop of tear rolled down her cheek.
"Rosa, I know you like me. I can feel that you agreed to be with him for the sake of Wright family!"
Tears welled up in Rosa's eyes, but she didn't say anything.
"Don't be afraid. No one will stop us in the future. Rosa, let's start over again, okay?"
Rosa smiled with tears in her eyes. She looked at him with a stiff smile.
"Mr. Wright... I'm not as great as you think..."
"Rosa..." He frowned and seemed to have a bad feeling.
Rosa took a deep breath and withdrew her hand in the next second.
Then, she stood up and looked at Andy, who was frowning with a sorrowful expression.
She had no other choice but to say cruelly, "Mr. Wright, don't waste your time on me. I am not the good girl you think I am. I... I love his money, his identity, and his status. You... can't compare with him!"
Andy's face instantly turned pale.
"No... No, you're not that kind of girl..."
She smiled faintly and said slowly, "You can't judge a book by its cover. Did you really think that know me that well?"
Andy stared at her in shock, as if he was looking at a stranger.
Rosa resisted the urge to cry and turned around to leave.
"Rosa!" Suddenly, Andy stopped her.
Rosa stopped but did not turn around.
Andy got up and came to her.
He didn't make a sound.
And just like that, he looked at her faint smile plastered on her face. It didn't feel real at all.
"So as long as I have money and status, will you come back to me?" He said calmly and smiled bitterly.
Rosa looked up at the man in front of her with reddened eyes.
He looked very thin, he was thinner than when she first met him.
Moreover, he didn't seem to be as young as he used to be.
On the contrary, he seemed to have regrets and sorrow that he shouldn't have at his age.
These were probably all because of her.
Sure enough, she was a bad woman.
"Answer me!" His turned her face towards him with his finger. He smiled coldly as he looked at her with dark eyes. "Will you come back to me as long as I have enough money?"
Seeing his expression, Rosa made up her mind and smiled. "Yes, as long as you are richer than him, I will go back to you!"
Andy's hand immediately loosened.
Rosa turned around and left, not baring to look at his hurt expression.
Andy stepped back and fell onto the sofa in a daze...
As long as he had enough money...
She would come back!
"Rosa, I will definitely get enough money! I will definitely make you return to my side!"
At this moment, Andy swore to himself.
As soon as Rosa stepped out of the coffee shop, it started raining.
She didn't run, nor did she get on the bus.
She just walked in the rain with her schoolbag on her back.
Tears kept rolling down her cheeks.
She was sobbing in despair.
It seemed like this was the end of her first love.
Perhaps only the people who went through this would understand her pain.
Her cell phone kept ringing.
But she didn't look at it at all. She could only cry in the rain.
The pedestrians on the road were in a hurry, and cars kept passing by back and forth.
The rain was pouring heavily, and no one noticed her at all.
She walked in the rain blankly.
Her face was very pale, and her hair was all wet.
It made her look like a ghost who had lost her spirits.
A silver Lamborghini suddenly pulled over in front of her.
In the next second, a slender figure with a chilly aura walked towards her steadily with an umbrella in his hand.‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒‒
