SWNOVELS Chapter Chapter fifty two
“What do you have to tell me, Lucy?” He asked her instead. Lucy didn't look pleased the table was turned.
“I’ll talk explain everything later today” She begged.
“Raina” He called walking out.
“I’ll see you later” Lucy mouthed to me. I nodded, yes agreeing with her as I followed Lucian out of the garden.
“When did you two become friends?” He asked. I rose my brows.
“Isn’t that what you wanted? For by the of us to get along” I asked. I didn't make up with Lucy because of him but I still asked him the question.
“Yes but you didn't_” He started.
“We are both cool now. You shouldn’t let that worry you” I said to him.
“Ok,” He didn't sound pleased.
“Why were you looking for me? Or rather who were you looking for?” I asked him.
“You” He replied.
“Me? What for?” I was shocked he was looking for me. Did Ri already talk to him?
“I want to help you move some of your clothes today” He answered. Oh. This was about moving to his room.
“Let’s get to it then” I pulled him by his arms back into the packhouse and he let me.
As soon as I got to the room I stayed I already knew what I wanted to take.
“Help me with the toiletries. Let me take my clothes” I instructed. I scanned through my wardrobe carefully as I folded each outfit I thought I would need in a week for someone who doesn't even leave the room.
“Done?” He asked after a while.
“Yeah. I think so” I replied still looking around, making sure I wasn't forgetting anything.
“I’ll have someone bring these up” He directed his words to items we already left on the bed when he said ‘these’.
“Shouldn’t we just take it all up now?” I suggested. There was no use in calling anyone to help us with a small bag and an even smaller bag.
“We could” He carried both bags and turned to face me with a smile.
“All done. Let’s go” He was excited about this new adjustment and he didn’t try to hide his excitement. Why should he? I liked that something as little as this was making him this excited.
While going up the stair is asked him series of questions, most of which he answered. He didn’t answer the last one.
“Please” I begged again as soon as he opened his room for me to walk in.
His room was the biggest room I’ve ever seen. I had been here before but I didn’t have the chance to actually look at his room before I left again.
“Your room is beautiful,” I told him having a seat on the bed.
“Uh_thanks I guess” I rolled my eyes at his response but still smiled.
“I didn't get the chance and that is a really great story” I was back to begging him to tell me who it ended for Guinevere, Ambrogio, Gonzalo and the rest of the people but he was refusing me.
“How about you read it yourself?” He asked.
“I wouldn't mind that” I quickly responded.
“Let’s go to the library” He announced
“You fixed it?” I asked, shocked.
“As soon as we could. This room is very important. It holds great knowledge and must be kept guarded” He responded as we walked out of the room and made our way to the library. He unlocked the door and we both walked in.
The book was there laying in yet another cage-like glass.
“Thank you,” I said moving closer to the book. I removed the top of the glass and picked out the book. I went to the chair and sat there.
“Take your time” He left a kiss on my cheeks leaving the library with me with red cheeks.

FLASHBACK TO A THOUSAND YEARS AGO
After the first night with Ambrogio, I knew I didn't want to go through that again, ever. What I didn't know was how to escape because I was still working for him and he would continue if he wanted to. I rolled on the bed I was on before standing up. My whole body hurt so much but I knew I had to leave his room. He brought me here after he saw fit he was satisfied.
“Where are you going” I jumped at the sound of his voice. I turned and stared into his res eyes with fear in mine.
“My chambers, sir” I responded.
“I don't want you going back there” He voiced out.
“If I may, why?” I asked carefully not to offend him in any way.
“You would be dead if I didn't see a need for you. Lilith put you up to it. Humans are stupid. You live with us and you think words of your meeting with Lilith wouldn't come out?” He strod dangerously closer to me. I shut my eyes right waiting for the impact but instead of hitting me like I thought he would, he carried me.
“You stay here, with me and please me whenever I want. You're not going to longer a slave” He announced. This was not how I expected things to be. I didn't think my heart would sink this much when I finally got what I wanted, to be free from this slavery. I didn't let my tears fall.
“Guinevere” He called. He never called me my name. I looked up at him. I once thought he was going attractive, he his but he is a monster. A monster that shouldn't get to live but he has been very much alive for centuries. He was a predator and he finds joy preying on the weaker race, humans.
“Strip” He commanded. I was in nothing but my plain undergarments. I was naked already.
“Don’t make me repeat myself, Guinevere” He warned. I moved my hands and removed my undergarment. My underwear followed and now I was standing naked in front of him.
Within a second he had his hands around my neck as he sunk his teeth into the nape of my neck drawing blood. And yet again he used my body after he drank to his fill.

I screamed when I saw that my hands were on fire. The book in my hand burning into ashes. I haven't finished with the book. What happened. Did Gonzalo come back as he had promised?
“What the hell Raina” I looked up at Lucian. I followed his gaze that was fixed on the ground. The ashes from the book.
“Lucian” I whispered dusting the rest of the ash on my palm.
“What happened?” He eventually asked.
“Raina!” Lucy barged in before I could say anything.
“What happened here?” She asked. I shrugged.
“Can I speak with her alone?” Lucy pleaded with Lucian. Not very pleased about this Lucian agreed and left. Lucy pulled me out of the library.
“What happened Raina?” She asked.
“I don't know” I really didn't understand what was going on.
“What were you holding?” She asked
“Uhm_ the story about the feud” I answered.
“Were you angry whilst reading it?” She questioned. I nodded.
“Who wouldn't be. Guinevere didn't deserve that. Ambrogio is a fucking_”
“Raina, Raina” Lucy called my attention to my hands that had fire in them. I looked at her then back at my hand. It was not gone.
“Fuck!” I cursed running my hands through my head.
“Argh” I hurriedly removed my hot hand from my hair.
“You need to stay calm Raina” Lucy snapped.
“Fuck! I'm sorry. It's just_” I did understand why tears were falling from my eyes but they were falling. Lucy held me against her.
“Shhh_ it will be alright, but I wasn't so sure about that at the moment.
“How?. This is so terrifying” I confessed as I cried.
“Trust me, Raina. I know what it's like to be overwhelmed with power you know know nothing about but it gets better as soon as you understand it” She promised
“What do I tell Lucian happened?” I asked.
“That’s up to you Raina but I'll be here if you want to learn about all of this,” She said. I nodded cleaning my tears.
“I really appreciate your help,” I told her. She laughed.
“Don’t go all soft on me now” I rolled my eyes chuckling.
“You had to destroy the moment”
“Lucian would be worried,” She stated
“I’ll talk to him”
“Wait” She stopped me when I turned away.
“What is it?”
“Do you still what to know the cause of the feud?” She asked.
“Yes. I'm genuinely interested in the answer to that. Do you know what started it all?” I asked.
“You wouldn't understand if I explained it because every reader to their opinion of the cause of the feud” She explained. So the topic was still a debate.
“So how do I know that now when I destroyed the book?” I asked curiously.
“Follow me” She instructed taking me back to the library.
Now standing above the ashes she instructed,
“Go down and take some in your hand” I did just that getting on my knees grabbing the ash in my hands.
“I need you to close your eyes, concentrate on what you were reading before the accident” She continued. I closed my eyes and let my thoughts wander to the story but nothing.
“What is this supposed to do?!” I screamed standing up. Lucy didn't say anything. She raised her hand and forced me back down with her magic. Fuck her.
“Again. Don't think too hard” She added. I closed my eyes and tried again.
“It’s not working” I grumbled.
“You’re barely trying”
“How would you know that?” I was already frustrated with everything
“I just know it. Try, please” She was giving her time, the least I could do was to make it worth it. I nodded.
I knelt down low and sat on my leg. I held the ashes in my hands and placed my hand on the rest of the ashes. I closed my eyes after doing this and thought back to when the story began, how she met Gonzalo, her meeting with Lilith, the first rape, then the second. I was getting really angry about how helpless Guinevere was and how she must have felt in the situation. My thoughts didn't stop they wandered further into the rest of the story.

SUMMARY OF THE FEUD BETWEEN THE WOLVES AND THE VAMPIRES.
After the second incident, Guinevere knew there was no escaping. Ambrogio already fed from her. She knew how much that meant to any vampire. Feeding on someone with killing them. This continued until Gonzalo came just when he promised he would.
“I want you to welcome Gonzalo while I'm away” Ambrogio instructed. Guinevere nodded in agreement, not like she had much choice. She got dressed in a purple dress awaiting the arrival of the new alpha Gonzalo.
“Ma lady” Gonzalo flashed her a smile she didn't return. He walked beside her and held her waist gently. Not used to that kind of gentle touch she flinched in the fear that he might hold on to her too tight.
“You do not look the same,” He noticed. What do I tell him? He doesn't need to know anything.
“Ambrogio will be with us shortly. What do you want whilst you await his arrival” I asked politely.
“You call him by his name now. What happened while I was gone?” He questioned.
“It is not my news to disclose” I hoped he didn't take an offence to that. He laughed.
“Do you love him? Is that it?” I quickly shook my head vehemently. Love him? Never!
“No!” I didn't mean to be that loud but I did raise my voice.
“What is wrong. You look pale. What happened to your beautiful skin and your smile?” I stood up walking away from me when he grabbed my arms.
“Please. Don't hurt me” I cried. He looked shocked.
“I will never hurt you, Guinevere. Do you know why I am here today?” He asked. I nodded, no.
“I want to take you with me. I will speak with Ambrogio and find him a deal for you to come with me” She revealed.
“I don't think_” He stopped me from saying anything further.
“Why are you so terrified when you hear his name. What has he done to you” He pulled me closer to himself pulling my dress neckline down staring at the bite marks. He looked angry. His eyes were not the usual colour. They were gold now.
“Gonzalo?” I called.
“You’re coming with me” He announced, his voice was not in the usual tone. His voice held so much power in them.
“Why will that be?” Ambrogio walked into the room removing the first layer of his attire.
“You’re hurting her. Can't you see how she looks?” He asked.
“She’s mine and don't you dare interfere” Ambrogio warned.
“She’s coming with me” His claws were out now. Ambrogio’s fangs were out. I stood still unable to move.
“Please” I cried not knowing who I was begging. Before I knew what was happening Gonzalo who was standing in front of me howled. Sounds of bones breaking. He's going to turn into a wolf. As soon as his big black wolf rose up to stand his paw hit my head causing me to fall hard on the floor.
