Chapter CHAPTER V: LEXICON OF LEYRA - SIDE A (3)
On Mount Geneza, the Golden King had a small garden. This could be found on the back of his magical abode. Just below an immense tree, there was a throne, which faced the front of a steam cascade. Wiz sat there and looked at the large meadows of Kepler, where innumerable lilac roses stretched. The King only sat on it when he needed to meditate, and this was a perfect day for it.
As he climbed the stairs, he felt a portentous presence, a familiar energy. He entered his strange home, and headed towards the magical Garden. Already in it, he observed his throne. Someone was sitting there, and he knew perfectly well who he was.
“You know you can’t come to this place without warning first” exclaimed the Golden King.
“Wėzhreem, what’s wrong with you?” exclaimed the strange being. “Can’t a father have differences with his children?”
“Well, not the way we had it last time, Architect” he exclaimed.
Wiz was trying to get subtly to his throne, diagonally, for the astral creature was turning its back on the Golden King. The mysterious being was not able to be seen, but his long white hair and his bright robe emanated a glow in the air. He kept talking to him, but Wiz’s ears didn’t listen to his words.
“In any case, I don’t come here to quench your resentments” the being exclaimed, “After all, you know I was right about those comets.”
“What did you come for, Elgoneth?” asked Wiz.
“I have come to announce the epiphany of a new magical order” said the mysterious being. “Its power will rest in words, paragraphs, laws and writings. It will be the most powerful weapon that has ever been created throughout the delighting seasons of these lands.”
“Are you talking about a book?” asked Wiz.
“I am talking about a new divine regime. The renewed constitution” exclaimed the deity. “I am talking about a new book, the Book of the Leader.”
Wiz was perplexed, for he had no idea to whom or what exactly he was referring to. He continued to approach the demigod, trying to see his face, but without realizing that his stringers were already anchored to the ground, with an overlooked spell of golden essence that the deity made before.
“There is already a book of this nature, the Golden King’s Apaxio Book” Wiz exclaimed. “Also, who are you going to give this to?”
“To the new leader of all lands” the deity said. “The next queen of mortals and immortals. It will be a gift, for my prodigious daughter; the owner of all Ïnmâeh’s forests.”
“Your daughter?” asked Wiz.
The Golden King raised his voice when he asked, but the divine being did not respond to him. He didn’t even turn around. He was still prostrated on the throne, exploring his mind over the beautiful flower fields that glimpsed the region. He contemplated with deep breaths, the beautiful creation he had made.
“This book will be an improved version of the Sacred Apaxio Book, so the responsibility for its delivery, should be deposited in my most powerful creature. You know that’s you, Wėzhreem.”
“When the time comes” continued the demigod, “the book will reach your Kingdom. You will receive it, and then you will send one of your dragons to descend into the lands of these villages to be delivered.”
“How do I know to whom this should be delivered?” Wiz asked. “You still haven’t told me who it is.”
“We both know who it is” said the deity.
Elgoneth rose from the throne, turned around, but the illumination of his face and body was so bright that the Golden King had to cover his eyes; the image obstructed his view. He elevates, and fade roughly through the air. Emanating an intense wind, that damaged the roses in Wezhreem garden.
The Golden King then, rearranged his gardens with magical flashes. He entered his house, and just when he was going to rest, the door started to ring.
“Who the hell comes at this time to interrupt my nap!” he said to himself. “I’m going!”
The Golden King then, approached the door. It was better than he thought.
“Sir, excuse me” a dragon exclaimed. “I can come later if I you ar–”
“Bongo!” exclaimed the Golden King. “I did not know it was you! None of that, come inside!”
The dragons settled in the magical and messy room of Wiz. The Supreme Dragon had something important to tell him.
“What a joy to have you here, my son” Wiz exclaimed. “Tell me what can I do for you?”
“It’s a brief thing, sir” he answered. “I just wanted your blessing for this bracelet.”
Bongo then, pulled out a beautiful gold-coated bracelet from a bag. It was wide, and it fit perfectly in the arms of a young dragon.
“What a wonderful thing! Is it for you?” asked Wiz.
“Well, you see sir” Bongo replied, “today my son is turning nine years old and I was considering giving him something special.”
“Well, congratulations! He will like it very much!” said Wiz. “Sorry for my ignorance, you know I don’t leave this place much, but which of your children is on his birthday today?”
“Argônæth, sir,” he exclaimed. “He has become a true warrior so quickly that as you already know, sometimes it worries me. I took your words before, but I still think it’s something abnormal. I believe this gift would help him a little.”
“Tell me, where did you get it from?” asked Wiz, after minutely watching the bracelet.
“I didn’t get it sir, I forged it for seven cycles with Faĕlum” he answered. “Although, I did get the precious stones and the shiny gold to form it.”
“So you went to Mordük?”
“Well, yes sir. How did you know I wh–?”
“You know, you can’t go to those areas, Bongo” shouted Wiz. “I have told you the exact same thing countless times. And it was evident; those unfortunate mountains are the only ones that have active volcanoes. I recognize those stones; they can only come from there.”
“I know sir, excuse me” responded Bongo. “It is a symbolic gesture, because for now it is just beautiful and nothing more. But with your intended blessing sir, I know my son will be able to concentrate his energies. It will help him manage his capacity. With it on, I know that his powers will be balanced and not out of control. I’m really worried that he can’t do so.”
“He is still too young for you to worry about that, I already told you” said the Golden King. “Relax, and I shouldn’t do this because you know very well that I hate those volcanoes for what happened with your grandfather.”
“But feel lucky with yourself” he continued. “For you’ve made my day with this good intention. Give me the bracelet.”
From the palms of Wiz sprouted golden essences that were absorbed by the majestic bracelet. Wiz dedicated some fine and sacred recordings, with old lyrics that translated into the name of The Prince of Fire. Once finished, Bongo felt tremendously grateful.
“Thank you very much, sir! I am sure he will love it!”
“Just like his brother!” Wiz replied sarcastically.
“I always wanted to do something like this for Dracko, but he doesn’t need it as much as Argônæth” said Bongo. “I have been able to guide him properly, and therefore, he has learned to managed himself. Besides, Dracko is already a grown dragon, and has a lot of experience on his side. He is not the best dragon, but I know that his powers and intentions are oriented to doing good.”
“Well, I hope so” responded Wiz.
“He will prove it, sir. Just give him some time” Bongo exclaimed, heading for the door. “I’m leaving, excuse me again about Mordük. It will not happen again.”
“It’s okay son” said Wiz. “I know you did it for your son.”
Bongo then retired slowly from the place, when a thought arose in his mind.
“Sir, before I leave, I wanted to ask you, have you ever seen Elgoneth’s face?”
“Never, my son” exclaimed Wiz. “What is the question for? Don’t tell me that you–how long you waited for that door to open?”
“To be honest sir, a lot. I saw you in the distant with him” he replied. “I didn’t hear anything, but I know he was there, with you. I tried to see his face, but he didn’t turn around. And when he finally did–”
“The light blinded you” Wiz finished.
“Yes! He´s such a strange being, don’t you think?”
“He is like that” he replied. “They say he was once a human, so I’m not surprised that he’s so strange.”
“He was, sir?! But how do you know that?!”
“That’s a story for another day, Bongo. I’ll tell you later, now I need to rest.”
“You´re right sir, excuse me” Bongo exclaimed “I will go now. Thank you!”
Night fell, and with it the festivity. The entire town of Anaís celebrated the birthday of the golden girl, the great blessing of the gods. Everyone gathered at Adelia and Lelio’s house, and celebrated her birthday evocatively. A great celebration was also held in the Hanging Gardens. After all, it was the birthday of the Prince of Fire.
The big party was held in the main square. After nine Rimerians, the Old Wiz decided to descend from Mount Geneza, and lived with his people once again. It was an unforgettable night, Argônæth received his father’s gift, and felt really blessed. He celebrated with his best friend, Dāel, and with the young dragons. Flying all around the squares. They were very young. The purity of their hearts was flooded with innocence and good will.
When the party reached its culmination, Dāel lost sight of his best friend. He was looking for him everywhere in the kingdom, and could not find him. So he got worried, and decided to escape from the Gardens, and descend to the surface.
He reached a hidden region of the forest, full of small hills, and floral fields. There, among some bushes, was the missing dragon. Dāel approached him, and scared him.
“What are you doing here!” exclaimed Dāel “Are you seeing something? Let me see!”
Argônæth tried to stop him, but Dāel could see a girl in the distance. She was on the surface, dancing in her garden.
“A human being? What are you doing watching one!”
“They are very funny!” Argôn replied. “And very strange. Just look at her!”
