Chapter CHAPTER V: LEXICON OF LEYRA - SIDE A (2)
Bliss and blessings brought these creatures through the years. Divinities of life, engendered from the unknown dimensions of light, with some kind of message for living beings; happy to live in these times, but also together with the responsibility of deciphering these hidden messages through the unpredictable path of life.
Meanwhile, Amalia grew up to be a girl full of love and affection. She was a truly special girl; a unique being. Her mother knew quickly that she would have a great responsibility in the world. With her beautiful golden traits, in her few first years, she showed an extraordinary ability to master the nature that surrounded her, and that served to harmonize her people. Enjoying the opportunity to share the grace and the lucid love that flowed from a girl coming from the roots of the forests, and what was in the same way, a true magical incarnation of an unexpected new dragon prince, descendant of the strongest lineage, but also, the dangerous of them all.
Argônæth and Amalia quickly won the love of all those around them, in addition to the occasional fear towards them. After all, such an arcane birth, they only characterized the indistinct arrival of a true puzzle. Who were these creatures? What are their purposes? What do they represent and where do they come from? What does life look for through them, and well, what message, even if there is one, are they trying to deliberate?
For Adelia, it was only a miracle, and she committed herself to it. Treating it as such. This girl was synonym of love, beauty and hope. Her relevance lay in the fact, she felt blessed to receive such responsibility. The mother didn’t put her mind on why her daughter exactly came for, but on who she would become; where she would go. She only knew, she was going to love her and raise her as if she were her own daughter, for she was indeed. It was a task assigned to her and only her. The girl was looking for life, and life was looking for the girl.
The girl could interact with the most beautiful trees, altering their huge structures and modifying their leaves to exciting colors, just for fun. Instinctively, she adhered to these colors that nature gave her, and having the ability to manipulate this energy, she reused them in the village gardens, in the robust fruits that adjoined the bushes of the communities. This harmonious magic increased the agricultural activity of the villagers. The trees produced more fruits, the fields delivered more crops, and the crops were enriched with the best of the properties.
However, these divine and mysterious abilities did not bring joy to her mother; she was actually worried about them. While all the People of Anaís cheered the girl, Adelia was baffled by the reasons of why her daughter had these powers. So, she made a promise to herself. She promised to raise her daughter in the neatest, decent and honest way possible. For Adelia, it only remained to teach her the depth of the values she had. To teach her what her grandfather once taught her.
For her, the most important thing was the heart. She believed that good intentions were the main determinant for the positive outcomes, of all our actions. She wanted to fill her daughter with love, but also, with a lot of responsibility. She longed to teach her to understand the magnitude of the weight she was destined to carry.
“I don’t know why life has given you these skills, daughter” she exclaimed. “Every day that passes, it seems that your body gains more of this powers. You must learn to master them, and not to allow them to consume you. I’m very worried about this.”
“Mother, do you know that I love you so much?” said Amalia.
“Don’t change the subject girl!” said the angry woman. “I’ve told you several times about the problems that will bring the lack of control on this!”
“I know, mother!” said the girl. “Can we talk about this later? Come on! You don’t seem to know what day it is today.”
“Of course I know” she responded.
The woman headed for her cupboard, went to one of the hidden drawers she had, and took out a small gift.
“Happy Birthday daughter!” said the woman. “I love you.”
Adelia tilted one knee and hugged her daughter, and around them, a mix of golden and green energy began to spread. The vegetative essence of Goddess Emeri was present, pointing out that she was there and fraternal love existed between them. The girl began to cry out of joy. She knew that this moment would be stay in her memory.
“Now, go get ready,” said her mother. “One doesn’t turn nine rimerians every day.”
It seemed that time was running slowly that day. The Golden King felt these energies, after all, it was also Argônæth’s nineth birthday. Tonight, was a special night.
