Chapter 6
“Anything?” Paula asked one of the scientists that was scanning me.
“No Ma’am.” The scientist said.
“Nothing at all?” I asked.
“No,” the scientist said. “No offense, but we don’t even know if what you are telling us is true.”
“What do you fucking want me to bring something back with me next time?” I asked angrily.
“It would help if you would tell us what happened,” The scientist said.
Next thing I knew, I felt myself release. I was confused. What the hell?
There was a girl on me. I could only see her abdomen and her breast. They weren’t huge, but they weren’t mosquito bites either. I released some more of my seed into her and she gave these nice noises. Was it, Paula? No…she sounded differently. I looked up at her and she smiled down at me.
“Beth?!” I asked and Beth that nerdy girl from HR smiled down at me.
“Yeah?” Beth asked almost in a low moan.
How the hell did I get here? When was this? I had no idea. I looked around confused. She looked down at me worried.
“Justin what’s wrong?” Beth asked.
“How…when is this?” I said.
“Justin your freaking me out,” Beth said sounding worried. “What do you mean when is it?”
“The year tell me the year,” I said.
“It’s Era 37321,” Beth said, and my eyes bulged that was 3 years from the point I had last remembered. “What is going on Justin your freaking me out?”
“Sorry I have to back to the scientist back in…” I started to say and suddenly I was back where I started. I looked around.
“It would help if you would tell us what happened,” The scientist said as if repeating exactly what he had said a second ago. I looked at him confused.
“Did you just say that again?” I asked.
“No,” the scientist looked confused.
“Now what happened?” the scientist asked again.
“It was Era 37321,” I said.
“That’s three years from now,” Paula said, and I nodded.
“Anything particular of importance you saw?” The scientist asked.
“I…I was with Beth,” I said.
“What do you mean with Beth?” Paula asked.
“I mean I was with her…you know.” I said looking away from her.
“With Bet?!” Paula said surprised. “She hates your guts there is no way she would ever be with her.”
“That’s what I thought!” I said.
What the hell was happening? I tried to figure it out.
“Do your scan show anything like maybe stray particles?” Paula asked.
“That was the first thing we checked,” the scientists said.
“And you find nothing?” Paula said.
“Well we don’t even know if he is even experiencing anything,” The scientist said.
“Time!” I jumped and looked around. I was back at the beginning of the day. I knew it I looked around confused.
“Justin Time!” I looked over and saw Paula walk over to me in the same way as she had earlier that day.
“Chief,” I said.
“I didn’t know you did these drills,” Paula said.
“Yeah I woke up an hour earlier than usual,” I said and looked around. Was this the exact time as earlier. I realized that this hour earlier I had woken up had started to bother me. How was it that I woke up an hour earlier than I intended? I didn’t even remember that.
“Oh wow,” she smiled.
“Chief I think I’ve been temporarily displaced.” I said.
“What?” her smile faded.
“I don’t know…” I said rubbing my eyes.
“What happened?” She asked.
“This is the second time I’ve talked to you this morning,” I said. “Yes, I know you just saw me right now and yes I do know that you always come this early to do your drills.”
“Temporarily displaced?” the same asshole scientist said.
“See what I tell you chief the quack doesn’t believe me,” I said to Paula and she frowned. The scientist looked at me and then looked at her.
“He did say that, he said you wouldn’t believe he had been temporarily displaced.” Paula shrugged.
“Okay let’s say we believe that for a moment,” the scientist. “Can you tell us what you experienced?”
“Oh hell, okay…so I jumped forward about three years, when I jumped forward, I was with Beth the girl from HR…yes with her,” I pointed at Paula who looked like she was about to say that thing Beth again. “And yes, I know she hates my guts.”
“I then got back to the beginning of the day and here I am again,” I shrugged. Paula looked over at the scientist.
“Thoughts?” Paula asked.
“There is no way to prove anything he is saying is true,” The Scientist said, and I punched him in his face hard knocking those stupid glasses off his face.
“Justin what the hell?” Paula said.
“Sorry,” I was confused as I threw the monkey girl over at the scientist waiting for me on other side of the portal. I looked around confused.
