Imperium: Volume 1

We didn't go to bed till late in the morning, as everyone was up still celebrating our biggest move yet. We were all buzzing, and the full effect of the mission was starting to way down in everyone's minds.

Ahead of us laid an unknown future, but a new calm swept over the hanger floor, as we knew what was coming next. June spent the night in her unit with her father, so I made my way over. I decided to knock as opposed to popping in like I usually did, and Richard answered the door.

"Raeve." He said with a smile.

"Good Morning Richard. How was your first night?" I asked, trying make small talk.

"It was probably the best sleep I've had in a year." He said.

I looked past him and saw a makeshift bed on the floor where I presumed June slept. There was no way she would let him sleep on the floor. Something we would have to rectify soon.

"Raeve!!" I turned to see Jay yelling for my attention from the hanger floor. "Harry needs you in his office!"

I turned to Richard and I excused myself, before teleporting straight to Harry's office and knocked on the door before I heard him yell enter. I walked in, to surprisingly see June standing next to him at his desk.

"What's going on?" I asked as my eyes landed on a map that took the whole circumfrance of his desk. I could see areas circled on the map. About a couple dozen to be exact. I looked up to June then Harry.

"What's this?"

Harry just looked at me. "Our next move."

I looked over to June who was looking down at the map. She finally turned her gaze to me, and had that same intense look I saw last night.

Then she grinned.
