For Sharp Group, this was a brand new beginning. No, it was a new start only if it developed well. If it didn’t go well, it would be a topic that would be laughed at. 

Bentley placed a glass of water in her hand and looked at her gently. “Haven’t you experienced the worst outcome five years ago? Everything now is much better than before. You led everyone from nothing to something and worked hard bit by bit to build a small but complete Sharp Group, allowing Sharp Group to break out of the ground independently, I guess you don’t even know how amazing you are.” 

Nydia almost burst into tears when she heard that. 

‘Exactly! I have faced the worst outcome five years ago. Other than life and death, what else is there for me to be afraid of? As long as I’m alive, I have countless opportunities to start over,‘ Nydia thought. 

The door opened, and Veronica rushed in. She waved at Nydia. “Hurry up. The next segment is your speech. Don’t dawdle.” 

Nydia took a deep breath and put away her unnecessary worry. She looked at herself in the mirror, and after confirming that she was perfect, she walked out in her high heels. 

Nydia had thought that there were only Sharp Group people. However, as soon as she went out, she saw the purple banners and flags swaying. The heads were as dense as ants. At the front, there were many media outlets holding cameras. 

Nydia was stunned. ‘What’s going on?” 

“What do you think? Is the extravagance that I’ve arranged for you good?” Veronica raised her eyebrows proudly. “If not for the limited venue, I could have given you a more sensational one.” 

“Are they all your fans?” Nydia asked as she glanced at the words on the purple banner. She almost choked on her saliva. 

“I wish Veronica’s best friend, Ms. Sharp, a great opening day.” “Friendship forever. Nydia and Veronica are the best.” “Nydia and Veronica, you can go wherever you want. We will protect you…” 

‘Good lord, I was wondering why there were so many people. It turned out that her fans had come.” Nydia was surprised.

Ten minutes later, there was a round of applause. 

Veronica and Bentley stood at the side and clapped the most passionately. Veronica was so excited that tears welled up in her eyes. 

After the speech ended, Nydia heaved a sigh of relief. Just as she was about to walk down the stage, a young man suddenly rushed up from the crowd. He held a knife in his hand and slashed at Nydia!

“Miss Sharp!” 

“Nydia!” 

Screams could be heard constantly. 

Nydia froze on the spot. There was no time for her to dodge. 

Just as the knife was about to hit her, a figure flashed in front of her and pushed her to the side. Then, that man was kicked about 200 inches away. 

Veronica, Lance, and the others reacted and immediately rushed onto the stage. They pulled Nydia up and protected her behind them. 

Nydia turned pale and looked in front of her. 

A bright red wound appeared on Bentley’s arm. It was exceptionally glaring on his white shirt. 

He punched and kicked the criminal until the person stopped moving. 

The first thing he did was to turn around and walk quickly to Nydia. He grabbed her hand 

nervously and asked, “Are you hurt anywhere?”
