Chapter 21
Sam P.O.V
“What about, this one.” Hannah said holding out a bright pink short dress. I grimaced at it. We were currently at the mall, trying to find a dress for me to wear to my party.
“Yeah you’re right. Bright pink doesn’t suit your complexion.” Hannah said throwing the dress behind her, not caring where it would land. But to her luck it landed straight on top of a lady.
“Hey who is- oooh never mind this is actually quite nice, thank you random girl.” The lady said walking to the counter to buy it.
Hannah and I looked at each other for a few seconds before we bursted out laughing.
“I’m hungry can we go to the food court?” I asked as my stomach grumbled.
“Yeah, sure.” Hannah chuckled.
We were sitting in the food court eating our lunch, when we were just finishing. “I’m exhausted after this morning. Do you think we can just go back home after we’re finished?” I asked. Home. It felt good to call somewhere home again, I thought I was never going to call anywhere home again.
“Yeah sure.” Hannah said, as she sipped the rest of her drink.
Hannah and I were walking through the front door to the house when I heard shuffling around. “Do not come anywhere near the kitchen.” I heard Jo scream.
Hannah shooed me towards my bedroom. Once we were inside a Hannah shut the door. “Well looks like we can’t go downstairs.” She chuckled.
I thought for a minute. “Do you want to play Mario kart?” I asked pointing to my flat screen tv on the wall and some remote controls.
“Yes.” She squealed, as she jumped on my bed. Once she finally calmed down, she sat next to me on the bed as we turned the tv on and chose our cars and race track.
“So shopping didn’t go as planned today.” I laughed.
“Yeah,” she sighed, “are you excited for your party?” She asked with her normal happy smile, lighting up her face.
“Surprisingly, yes.” I said slowly.
“Well I for one, am so excited I can’t wait. We’ve planned out heaps of party games.” She said excitedly.
After four races we stopped and realised it was a draw 2-2.
“Well it’s a draw, so winner gets to-“ Hannah said but was cut off when Cole stumbled into the room, tripping over but he quickly recovered and got up. He had an embarrassed smile on his face. While Leo stood at the door smirking.
“Verse me.” Cole said, smiling awkwardly.
“Okay, deal.” Hannah and I said in unison.
“Wait, two questions, one, were you listening to us talk and two, did Leo push you through the door?” I asked tilting my head.
Cole’s eyes were as wide as saucepans. “No.” He defended.
“Mmhhhm.” Leo hummed, leaning against the door frame, crossing his arms and his smirk growing.
Cole took two big strides, in Leo’s direction and slapped him up the side of the head. “Ow, what was that for?” Leo asked, ducking his head, incase Cole went to hit him again.
“You know what that was for.” Cole said throwing his arms up. He leaned in closer to Leo. “Now don’t say another word, got it?” Cole whispered.
“Do you remember that we’re werewolves and we can hear you right.” I said sassily.
“Play.” Was all Cole said as he waited for Hannah and I to finish the race.
“Yes, I won.” I screamed jumping up and just missed hitting my head on the roof, since I was standing on my bed.
Everyone started laughing. “Calm down, before you hit your head.” Hannah giggled.
I sat down and Hannah passed the remote to Cole. “Ready to lose?” Cole smirked.
“Losing isn’t in my vocabulary.” I smirked back.
“Well, it will be soon.” Cole stated.
“Keep dreaming.” I scoffed.
We started the race, Cole was in first place, but not for long. It came to the final lap and I won. “Yes.” Hannah and I squealed, jumping around. “What? No you cheated, I demand a rematch.” Cole whined.
“Nope, I won fair and square.” I laughed.
The next day consisted of non stop training. Because apparently I wasn’t allowed in the house. Leo and Hannah were helping Jo with something inside while Cole and I trained.
‘I wonder what they’re all doing in they’re.’ I said curiously to Leah.
‘I’m not sure.’ Leah said.
After a while Cole and I took a break. “Leo just mindlinked me and said that you can go inside now. Unless you want to keep training?” Cole said, raising his eyebrows. I could, tell he didn’t want to train anymore.
“No it’s fine, I’m exhausted.” I said standing up and heading for the exit door, in the gym.
“I’ll come in, in a minute.” He called out, as I was just walking out.
When I got to the house and came inside. I didn’t realise how much I stunk, and I was sweating like a pig. Jo saw me, her mouth almost dropped to the floor.
“Oh dear child, go have a shower.” She chuckled.
“I can smell you from my room.” Leo screamed. “Please go have a shower before my nostrils burn.” Leo joked.
“If you think I stink, you should smell Cole.” I laughed as I walked to the shower.

Beep
Beep

I woke up to my alarm, blearing that horrid noise in my ears. With my head buried in my pillow, I reached over to my alarm, and hit it, but it wasn’t turning off. I gave up and punched it. I felt the cheap plastic break underneath my hand. It was only one of them really cheap, annoying alarm clocks anyway. Sunday. It’s Sam’s birthday today.
My mother, Hannah and Leo burst into the room. “What?” I groaned, as I pulled my head off of my pillow, still half asleep, I looked up at them.
“Get up.” They all said, ushering me to get up.
“What?” I groaned again.
“Just get up, and don’t make a noise.” Hannah ordered.
I know I’m not usually the one to take orders, but, it sounds like it’s important.
“Fine.” I sighed, as I got up.
“Just grab the clothes your wearing tonight, for the party, and hurry up.” Hannah whisper yelled, swinging her hands everywhere, like a mad woman.
“Okay, jeez. Why am I doing this anyway?” I asked furrowing my eyebrows, while grabbing the clothes for the party.
“Hurry up, man.” Leo whisper yelled.
“Okay, I’ve grabbed everything, now what?” I asked throwing my hands up in the air.
“Quick, downstairs. Go to Trevors house, get ready there for the party and under no circumstance come back to this house, until the party.” My mother said ushering me down the stairs.
“Alright, now why am I doing this?” I asked, slowly walking out the door.
“No questions, just go.” My mother scolded and pushed me out the door, I didn’t protest. Trevor’s house was walking distance, since it was on our pack territory, thank goodness. I only just woke up, so I don’t feel like walking forever. And I wanted to find out what was happening right now.
When I got to Trevors house, I knocked on the door, waiting patiently. He opened the door. “Alpha.” He greeted nodding his head. “Your mother tells me that you will be staying here for today, and under no circumstances shall I let you leave.” Trevor said, standing aside and letting me pass.
“And do you know why I’m staying here?” I asked dropping my clothes onto a chair nearby.
