Her Undeniable Temptation

Zoe dropped the few things she grabbed and ran out of the store before she drove her car off at a dangerous speed. Even though she had almost gotten into a huge amount of trouble a while ago. As Zoe drove her car she was laughing her a*s out, I mean the whole thing had been ridiculous! It was all that guy’s fault anyway.

She had to drive an extra ten miles out of her way just to get to a different store but it was not like she could go back there, she broke a table! Ha. She got all the stuff on mom’s list and went home, she helped mum make her dip which she ate some and went off to her room to continue her mopping session.

Zoe kept her pillow at the ready Incase she needed to scream some more but honestly, she was still having fits of giggles about the first grocery market, she didn’t tell Lilian! Zoe doubts if she could have gotten mad but a lecture, right? Zoe felt her mind had cleared up a bit.

Like things weren’t that bad compared to other problems. She was stable, Bella was still calling and texting like a crazy person but she ignored all of them! Her vacation was almost over and she couldn’t deal with all this crap at school.

Guilt. Sometimes it totally sneaks up and knocks the breath out of you, it is so easy to push away when you are doing something you shouldn’t be. Like, she was going to worry about it later.

Well___ It’s later now. Zoe curled up on her bedroom floor staring out the window like a zombie feeling so unbelievably guilty, it hurt! It’s the night before she had to go back to school and out of nowhere the guilt just took over her. She couldn’t rationalize it as much as she wanted but In a way she had still cheated on Luke with Alex.

Yes, Zoe had asked for them to go on a break but they didn’t make rules for the break. Like no seeing anyone else, why didn’t they f*****g make rules? she could have really used some! Zoe has been figuring out how to tackle each problem she had.

She basically waited until the last possible second to come in from her car, Zoe had no sprint across the parking lot but oh well, practice right? She quickly opened her locker and pulled the books she needed! She gently closed the door and Bella was standing right next to her.

“Ahh,” she yelped and clutched her chest. “You scared the crap out of me,” she said. “Sorry,” She uttered dismissively. She stood glaring at Zoe. “Uhmm what?” Zoe asked. “Why haven’t you returned any of my calls or texts?” She demanded.

Zoe didn’t like to lie but this situation called for it. She slapped her palm to her forehead dramatically, “Shit I forgot my phone at their Zack house when we dropped them home.” She lied.

She seemed to buy it. “Oh my gosh, then you don’t know what happened?” She asked and Zoe bit her lips. “Actually I do,” Zoe said, making Bella raise an eyebrow. “Alex told me!” Zoe said quietly.

“That bastard, I knew he probably would! That little coward. I know that he told you all kinds of made-up stuff, I bet.” She tried saying. “Bella, all he told me was that you two broke up.” Zoe said, trying to make her relax a bit.

“Oh yeah, well we did.” She said, rolling her eyes.

“Are you okay,” Zoe asked before she went off again. “At first I was really upset, I mean full of tears and everything but when I realized he wasn’t even a little bit sad about it, I got mad.” She said and pulled Zoe into a hug, Zoe patted her back softly to calm her down.

When they both pulled back she smiled. Zoe thought she was better but she wasn’t.

“The first part of my revenge should include you, I don’t want you to be his friend anymore and when he asks you why? You tell him what a jerk he is.” She said, Great. “Listen, Bella, I can’t do that,” Zoe said.

“Fine I would tell him myself, you just tell him you are not friends anymore.” She said with a shrug. “No, I can’t stop being his friend,” Zoe said, trying to remain calm. By the look on her face you would know a storm was growing.

“Uhmm what?” She asked.

“Bella, he was my friend before you two started dating! I’m not going to stop talking to him now because you two broke up, seriously.” Zoe said. “I had a feeling you were going to say something like that, come on Zoe he totally broke my heart and messed with my head and you want to be buddy-buddy with that guy?” She demanded.

“How exactly did he mess with your head?” Zoe asked. “Oh you know, the typical, I care about you crap, which obviously he doesn’t or he wouldn’t have broken up with me for some slut.” She said, and glared at Zoe.

“What are you talking about?” Zoe asked, making her sigh dramatically.

“When he was being all wonderful and breaking up with me! He said he had feelings for somebody else, she must be some boyfriend stealing slut.” She finally said. Ouch. “He said he had feelings for somebody else?” Zoe repeated and she nodded, looking sour.

She seemed like she would right now though. “So you are still his friend?” She asked. “Yea,” Zoe replied. “Even after he hurt me?” She asked, making Zoe sigh. “Sorry Bella but yes,” Zoe blurted out.

They kind of had to stare down for some moment before she shrugged. “Whatever, do what you want to do but I’m not going to be anywhere around him, I’ll just want to slap his sexy face.” She said, making Zoe raise an eyebrow.

“I hate him so much that I want to rip his throat off but he is still f*****g gorgeous.” She said and Zoe smiled.
