Chapter 9

Sitting in her living room she began to devour the mac and cheese she had prepared. Apart from being brilliant Diana was born a natural cook, it was something she did not have to put in much effort to do. She was the last daughter of three girls and her Mum and siblings preferred her to cook than anybody else. Of course she never complained because it was something she enjoyed doing. While watching the television and doing justice to her meal, she begin to think about the fight between her and her latest tenant.

Of course she knew she was wrong, she just wanted to taunt him. She used every opportunity to insult men to her best. But now she was beginning to think about his words. She really needed some sort of therapy, she needed to meditate her bitterness away. She doesn't care if she still hates them all she cared about was her mental state.

How was she going to get Mr Barkers no, she had skimmed him, he was so Proffessional and friendly. But was she going to ask the same person she had insulted for his contact. She was confused and her ego was taking hold of her.

The next day, while Liam was taking a walk in the neighborhood he bumped into Miss Diana. She had gone to get herself some Pads as her monthly visitor visited her.

"Hey Diana" Liam tried to be very formal with her.

"You seem like you're heading home" "Obviously that's what it is" she stated plainly.

"Alright, we could walk home together then.

"Oh no," she thought

Why does this Guy not understand that she found nothing pleasurable to do with him. She kept a quiet and serious face while they walked. Liam himself felt awkward about the situation so he decided to try again. "What do you have In your hands?" He tried nicely

"Menstrual Pad" She answered tired.

"Oh wow, that reminds me of our days in high school"

"When your monthly visitor comes unexpectedly and you'll run to me crying"

"Oh yeah and you'll accompany me to the sickbay to help me get Pads from the nurses" she said.

"Huh? accompany you?" he retorted.

"You were the one that accompanied me"

"It was me that did all the talking, while you stood there nervously, remember?" Liam teased.

"Hahahaha, and the nurses would ask me if you were my older brother" She giggled remembering how nervous she was.

"Yeah, and I'll say Yes, she's my Sister from another mother" They both laughed.

"We actually looked alike then but with your new personality, One can't even tell." He remarked.

"Oh yeah, I'm Diana Wilson and I do not look like any Man. " She made herself clear.

Oh here she goes again, there were beginning to have a normal conversation but she wants to ruin it with her hate for Men. What was wrong with her? "You know, you were always beautiful but you look more stunning than ever now"

"I don't mean to be rude but did do any job with your face?" Liam

enquired politely.

"Naah not surgery" Diana replied.

"But I had a lot of renewing of my mind and I think it manifested on my face too. She said proudly

"I see, really a great one" he nodded.

"And you, you really look handsome as ever but with a more Mature presence"

"Of course I told you I was more matured now" he quickly pinned out.

"Yeah, matured with your cheating skills right?" she laughed loudly

"Liam Maxwell the great womanizer of Excellent Vessels high school" she laughed again.

"Oh stop being silly" he made for her back to spank but she took off and he ran after her.

He chased her hard but she was so fit that she outran him. By the time they got to their place he was already tired

She laughed at how lazy he was but in a few seconds he was falling to his knees, his symptoms had taken over. He was suffering from "asthenia". He felt so dizzy and weak in his knees. She felt bad and helped him to his corridor where he sniffed in some fresh air. She got Water for him which he dranked and started Panting.

"Are you okay?"

"Yes I feel better" he said.

"I'm sorry for engaging you in the run" she apologized slyly.

"No it wasn't your fault, I felt like running too" he assured her.

"Okay I'll be going to my place now, trust you'll be fine " "Sure I will" he responded.
