Chapter 83
Chapter 83
At Liam's work, there was a lady who admired Liam so much. Of course almost all the ladies did but she was Liam's biggest crusher. Lydia loved Liam so much that she did everything to please him. She'll always pass through Liam's office during break to ask if he needed anything and that was not even her job. She offered to help with his stuffs anytime Liam came to Work. Liam noticed her care but took it as flirting. He decided to go out with her after his dad talked to him. "Lydia, do you have anything important to do today after work?" Liam asked as she carried his suitcase following him to his office.
"No sir, I'm absolutely free" she replied thinking he wanted her to help him with some stuffs which she would be glad to do.
"Okay, that's nice, do you mind having dinner with me tonight?" Liam asked politely. He was on his office now so he removed his Coat and hung it on his chair while placing his hands on his desk still standing. "Ye.... ss, Sure Sir.. " Lydia stammered as she thought it was a dream.
"Alright see you by 7pm in the evening, well meet at New spice restaurant" Liam said as he sat down and pulled closer to his desk.
"Sure Sir 7pm" She smiled heartily as she left his office. She worked with so much Joy that her colleagues couldn't help but notice it.
"Lydia, there's a sweet aura you carry today, you wanna share the secret?" One of her colleagues asked her.
"Oh it's nothing, I'm learning to be happy " She lied, beaming with smiles.
"Oh wow, happiness sure looks good on you" the colleague praised.
When Lydia was done for the day's job she rushed home to go prepare for her outing with her crush. It was a big deal to her so she decided to take her time to prepare herself. She was going to meet someone special.
She wore a short, black dinner gown with a stiletto heels. She stretched and packed her hair into a centre pattern sleek bun. She was good at making up so she did a thing with her face and added false lashes. On her neck was a very beautiful choker necklace. At 6:45pm she was already at the restaurant sitting pretty. She had no chances to take, she thought to herself.
By 7pm on the dot Liam arrived. He dressed quite simple. He wore a sky blue shirt tucked in on a navy blue pants.
"Hello, good to see you"Liam shakes her as soon as he got to the table where she was sitting.
"Hey, it's nice to see you too" she replied smiling from ear to ear.
"Have you been here for long" Liam asked as he sat down on the chair opposite her.

"Naah, not long" she replied sweetly.
"By the way, you look stunning, I never noticed you were this stunning" Liam complimented her as he was quite impressed knowing fully well that she had gone out of her way to look this good for him. "Aww, thank you so much, you look handsome as always" she blushed slightly.
"Wow thank you, I never knew I was handsome" Liam joked as he beckoned on a waiter to come over with the Menu.
"So what would you love to have"Liam passed the menu to her as gentleman that he was.
"Urhhm, Mac and cheese would be great" she picked the dish randomly not really caring about it.
"Okay, I'll go with Mac and cheese too "He said to the Waiter who left with the Menu.
"So how have you been coping with work? " Liam asked her.
"Fine, I've been coping fine, I mean it's something I studied and love, though seeing you everyday at work gave me more energy than normal" she decided to shoot her shot. "Oh really? How do you mean? "Liam asked her between giggles.
"Common, Liam everyone knows how handsome and breath taking you are"
"Every single day I see you, I appreciate God's work and wished you were mine" she spoke without hiding her feelings.
"Oh stop flattering me" Liam smiled shocked by her genuineness.
"I'm obviously not, I wouldn't waste my time doing that " She fixed her gaze on the waiter who was here now with their order.
"Wow, I appreciate the compliments but you know you are such a beautiful girl too right?" Liam asked her ignoring the sweet smell of the mac and cheese.
"Yeah my dad always reminded me" She teased. Lydia was a very beautiful girl although not as beautiful as Diana. She was a half cast with pretty brown eyes and quite full features. She had full face and full lips, her eyebrows were fuller than most people's. She grew up with her Dad who gave her all the love and care she deserved
Her Mum divorced her Dad when she was only six and she decided to stay with her Dad. She was so fond of her Dad that people used to call them couples. Her Dad did his best to give her motherly and fatherly care. He made sure to remind her every morning how beautiful she was and how she should not let anyone tell her otherwise.
Lydia studied accounting in College which was her dream course and when she graduated she wouldn't do another job than accounting.
