Chapter 51

"Why would you do such a thing, what did Miss Diana do to you?" The officer questioned her in the dark room.

"Officer I honestly don't know what you're talking about " Amanda denied.

"You were so jealous right? You wished you were doing well just like her" he continued.

"Oh please I would like to get out of here, I shouldn't be here " Amanda Screamed.

"Or did she do anything to you in the past, like snatched your boyfriend or something, talk to me I'll understand " the officer pressed on.

"You know what? You are not hearing from me till my Lawyer arrived, I wont say a word" she shouted.

"Shut up you envious soul, you were so bitter that you paid bloggers to ruin the innocent lady image, how can you explain this voice note" he banged the table and played the voice note for her to listen.

"Yes I hate her" she started crying as she listened to the voice note.

"I did all that, yes, I mean I've been working as hard as she has and why haven't I gotten the recognition she got" Amanda continued.

"I did all these and I don't regret doing it.

"Well you'll have to pay dearly for it" Inspector Lucas informed her as he called a police to take her to cell.

The police officer informed Mrs Smith about the new development and Mrs Smith told Diana to meet her at the police station. Diana was there with Liam. Liam was so bent on seeing the lady behind the dirty rumors about his girlfriend. When they got to the station, they were taken to inspector Lucas office. The officer greeted them and sent for Amanda.

"You fool, why would you be so bitter against me, if I did something wrong to you, couldn't you confront me"

"Well you deserved what I did to you and I don't care what you have to say" Amanda said without remorse.

"You should be ashamed of yourself Amanda" Mrs Smith spoke but the Lady looked away in an unknown direction.

"Well you'll continue your bitterness in lesson girl and I'll make sure to ruin your image on Social media" Liam said to Amanda.

"Could you smile a little" Liam mocked her as he took pictures of her and Amanda had started to cry as she knew her whole career was going to be ruined.

Inspector Lucas instructed the other officer to take her back to the cell and Diana couldn't thank him enough for a Job well done. They all shook hands with the officer as they were about to leave his office. "Lucas I'm so happy you came through for me" Mrs Smith thanked the officer once more.

"Naah, it's nothing, I mean it's nothing, it's my job to bring perpetrators to book " inspector Lucas smiled.

"Thank you so much "Liam added and they left his office.

Just outside the station, Diana could not help but thank Mrs Smith over and over again.

"I'm grateful for you Ma" she said.

"Common, it's fine Diana any other person would have done the same, I mean it's our Job as an agency to look out for you" Mrs Smith said.

"No not anybody Ma, some agencies would have cut ties with me without proper investigation, Thank you so much Ma" She thanked her again.

"It's fine darling " Mrs Smith patted her as she made for her Car and Diana jumped into Liam's arms as he hugged her with the joy of victory.

As they got home, Liam ordered Chinese rice and Sauce. Nobody was going to be stressed not after the long day, he thought. While they were eating Liam made posts of Amanda in the cell revealing how she was behind the fake rumor of Diana. He made sure to tag all Amanda's account and every blog he knew.

"I love justice" he smiled as he kissed Diana's hair.

"Silly you, so do I though" she said wrapping her hands around his waist. ********Morning

As Diana was brushing her teeth her phone rang from the room.

"Babe, could you please help me check my phone" she begged liam

"It's Sam " Liam acknowledged as he brought the phone to her in the bathroom.

"Hey babes"Diana greeted her friend.

"Hello beautiful, how are you doing" Sam enquired cheerfully.

"I'm great my darling" Diana said smiling over the phone.

"Why shouldn't you? Your accuser have been dealt with" Sam laughed joyously.

"The news is all over the internet " Sam announced. Almost all the blogs had started spreading the news.

"Oh Sis, it's the lords doing, like you said, it was a colleague of mine, it's so disheartening

"Diana exclaimed.

"I told you, you can't trust these girls, they be hating from afar.

"Well I'm glad that your been vindicated" Sam said cheerfully.

"So I'm I Sis, thank you for praying and standing by me " Diana thanked her.

"It's nothing my dear "

"So when will you and Liam come over" Sam enquired.

"Oh soon. Soon, I'll talk to Liam so we could fix a date and get back to you" Diana replied.

"I'll be waiting to hear from you, David and Ciara misses you so much" Sam revealed.

"Oh my loves, tell them well see them soon" Diana said.

"Alright, my regards to Liam"

"Sure he'll hear"

"Bye dear" Sam said

"Bye " Diana replied as Sam hung the phone
