Chapter 50

On the morrow morning, Diana had woken up early. She couldn't even sleep well the previous night because of the thoughts that flooded her mind but thanks to Liam who constantly checked up in her and assured her that everything was going to be fine. She was going to leave to her agency's office without breakfast if not for Liam who forced her to.

"Do you want to develop ulcer because of some fool? "

"No, liam, it's not that, I don't have appetite, that's it" Siana said bluntly.

"Well you lost your appetite because you are worried about some stupid rumors and you might develop a health problem if you don't eat"

"Wait here while I go fix you something real quick" Liam said as he rushed to the kitchen.

He came back with bread, butter and hot chocolate drink. He fed her cause he thought that if he did so she would eat more.

"Oh Liam I'm filled already, can I go now?" Dian asked as she didn't want to have more.

"Just this last one love" He said as he stuck bread and butter into her mouth and her fed her with the chocolate drink afterwards.

"Alright bye, I'm leaving, I'll be back as soon as I'm done" Dianassid as she made to leave. She wore a white polo that stopped right above her knees and a beautiful white Crocs to match. She drove swiftly and in a few minutes she was at the office.

"Hello Diana, how are you today" Mrs Smith greeted her as soon as she walked into the office.

"Hi Ma, I'm good and you?"

"I'm fine dear, thank you" Mrs Smith replied swiftly.

"So straight to why we are here, do you know anyone that would want to destroy your image?"

"No Ma, the only person I can think of is in prison, I don't know anyone who would want to" she replied sadly.

"Alright it's fine dear, we'll find a way around it" Mrs Smith said as she called her Manager to join them in the meeting.

"Good Morning all"The manager greeted as he shook their hands and they set to business.

"What do you think of this situation?" Mrs Smith asked her Manager

"I strongly believe that someone in the industry cooked this up, it's either a stakeholder who Diana turned down his sexual advances or a fellow model that's jealous of your acheivement" The Manager said.

"Hmm, Diana can you think if any one in any of those category that is capable of doing this to you? Mrs Smith asked.

"No MA, I can't place my hands on a person" Diana said.

"Alright it's fine, I think we should get directly to one of the bloggers"

"We can bribe them with a very huge amount, we would get to the smallest blog"

"I mean, the blog with little to no influence, what do you think?" Mrs Smith asked.

"That's a good idea, I pray this works out perfectly" The manager said.

"Diana, do you have anything to say?" Mrs Smith asked.

"I agree with the plan Ma" Diana said. Diana got home tired and Liam fixed her to a treat while she gave him gist about the agreement at the office.

So the agency messaged one of the bloggers and told him how they were going to pay any amount he wished just so he could expose the accuser to them. After a fair deal the blogger decided to expose the lady who gave him the news and paid him to release the News. The blogger said he was only going to expose the lady after he had seen the money physically and they agreed to that.

The day came and Mrs Smith, Diana and her agency's manager went to the restaurant the blogger picked for them. After a few minutes of waiting the blogger came with eye Google's on.

"You know her?" the manager and Mrs Smith chorused.

"Of course I do, We had a shoot for a brand one time" Diana answered.

"Oh, good news" Mrs Smith heaved a sigh of relief.

"So my part is done here, it was nice doing business with you" The blogger shook them as he made to leave but that was after the manager had taken the picture and recorded the voice note. "So, I'll take it up from here" Mrs Smith assured.

Diana got home and could not believe what she saw and heard earlier.

"Oh babe, how did the meeting go" Liam welcomed her.

"You would not believe it," Diana exclaimed.

"I'm sure she'll be dealt with accordingly, so you don't have to bother yourself anymore darling". Liam kissed her as he went to prepare the tub for her to have her bath.

Mrs Smith called her friend who was a police officer and explained the ordeal to him. The police officer got vital information about Amanda from her and promised to track her to her apartment the next day. Just as the police officer promised, he was at Amanda's house by 7am,.

"Hello, good morning" The police greeted Amanda.

"Good morning to you, how can I help you?" Amanda asked.

"I'm Inspector Lucas and I'm here to arrest you for the false accusation of Miss Diana"

"What? I think you are in the wrong house" Amanda blurted out.

"I'm afraid I'm not, you have the right to involve your lawyer or we could get one for you" the police informed her as his Co handcuffed her and took her to the vehicle they came in.
