Chapter 15
Chapter 15
Diana bumped into Sam her best friend from high school. Although they had broken up then, she still was pleased to see her again. "Oh Sam!" Diana Screamed.
"Heyyy buddy"
"longest time, how have you been" Sam greeted back.
"Very well, look at you! You look good" Diana hailed. She hadn't seen Sam in a very long time.
"And you too, you look so different Sabrina"
"Besides, you are really doing well for yourself" Sam remarked
"You are now a celebrity, Miss Wilson the top model" she hailed her the more.
"Oh for the record I'm no longer Sabrina, I'm now Miss Diana Wilson" Diana informed her.
"I see Miss Diana Wilson, your new name suits you though" Sam laughed.
"It isn't new, I changed my nam long, long ago" Diana schooled her friend.
"Are these your kids?" she pointed to the beautiful boy and girl standing with Sam.
"Yes, Meet daisy and Josh, daisy is the first while Josh is my second child" She explained
"Wow!! They're so cute" Diana exclaimed.
"Hello loves" She went ahead to greet them and they smiled back at her answering her with a hi.
"So how many kids have you got now girl?" Sam asked.
"None, I don't have any" Diana answered briefly
"You are kidding right?" Sam Wondered.
"No I'm not, why would I?"
"Okay but you are married right? Tell me about your husband" Sam was anxious.
"Damn, girl I ain't married to nobody" Diana laughed.
"You must be kidding right?" Sam asked
"No I'm not" Diana said frankly.
"Wow, so why aren't you married yet, you are a very beautiful girl you know?"
"Yeah I know, but I'm not ready to commit to any Man"
"Not after all they've done to me" she was sober now but she had put on a bold face.

"Well girl I'll advice you give love a trial, you need to start procreating beautiful kids like you" Sam felt consined.
Diana acted like she wasn't touched but deep down she knew Sam was making sense. She wanted some beautiful kids but she wouldn't want to bring them up without a Father figure around them, so she couldn't skip marriage. She laughed about it and they exchanged contacts after which they hugged and bade themselves goodbye.
Diana couldn't think straight after her meeting with her old friend. She wished Sam's kids were her's but unfortunately they weren't.
She needed a child and she wasn't getting younger but she did not want to get attached to a Man.
Her head was beginning to spin. She took a glass of whisky and sat outside hoping to clear her head.
She sat there for more than two hours but the more she thought the more she got confused.
Liam who was observing her walked up to her to know what was the problem.
"Hey you seem worried, is anything the matter" Liam asked.
"I just want to be left alone please" Diana said softly.
"It's fine you can talk to me"
"A problem shared is a problem half solved" he encouraged her.
She reluctantly agreed to tell him not because she expected a solution from him but because she thought it would reduce the heaviness in her heart.
She explained that Men had hurt her so much from her Dad who left her at an early stage to him and the other guys who toiled with her heart.
Liam felt sorry for her and adviced her I'm his own little way.
"I think you should let go" he said.
"If you don't let go of the things that broke you, you might still fell broken."
"Forgive and live in the moment, that's probably the best way to enjoy life"
She began to cry as the words hit her so hard. She had been stressing her heart, carrying both the people who did/didnt do her wrong
He felt sorry for her and offered to serve her dinner. She couldn't reject this time, She just let herself be. He helped her to his apartment and put on the music to keep her company while he cooked. He made Noodles, that was the best he could cook. He served it and it wasn't bad at all.
After eating they talked.
They talked about their days back then in school. They talked about some Funny teachers and Some great bullies back then, it felt good for Diana.
Liam hammered on how he was the love of every girl's life back then and Diana cut him short by telling him how he was an annoying playboy as he played her also.
He apologized, of course it wasn't an easy job for her to forgive him of what he did to her but they were in the moment so the laughed about it and enjoyed themselves.
