Her Forever

Chapter (Book 5)- Bonus Chapter

Valentine’s Day

Theon absentmindedly threw several papers to floor while his back leaned back into his chair. Interviews to appoint a beta were lacking. None of them felt right, none of them held that outstanding aura his brother and he were looking for. Theon rubbed his face with both hands, unsure of what to do. There were two alphas of the pack. Maybe the Moon Goddess thought it would be best to have two alphas and no beta.

No, that couldn’t be it. They both felt like they needed someone else. Until that time came, they would leave the position open, no matter how many wolves they rejected. Their friends had all found mates, and even the closest of wolves they had as friends didn’t feel right, either.

Thaddeus strolled into the office opposite of Theon to his desk. Thaddeus’ desk was empty of any paperwork, just stress balls and pictures of him and Trinity decorated the table. His sweaty body hit the leather chair, making him cringe at the sticky feel.

“Still no luck?” Thaddeus mused, throwing the stress ball up in the air while putting his feet atop the desk. Theon g*****d, pulled out his laptop, and began clearing out emails. It was great that Bergarian had stepped up in certain aspects of technology, even if other shifters preferred the technology free life. Wolves had a duty to protect all, and this was the best way to keep in touch with outlying wolf packs.

Theon tapped on the mouse a few more times while Thaddeus continued to drip sweat from his workout. Theon, becoming irritated, slapped the mouse with his finger a bit too hard, causing it to break.

“Well f**k!” he yelled, throwing the mouse. The broken piece of technology hit the nearby shelf with the small backpack, causing it to fall.

“The hell is your problem?” Thaddeus scoffed, getting up from his chair. The leather stuck to him, causing a small suction sound. Bending over to pick up Theon’s mess, he found a small navy velvet box. Thaddeus’ interest peaked and opened the funny box and stared at a gorgeous ring sitting in the middle. It was a diamond, beautiful and radiant.

“The f**k is this for?” Thaddeus stood up, walking to Theon. Theon, whose head was buried in his hands, leaning over the desk, turned to the box thrown on the table. Grabbing it, he scoffed a laugh and stood up.

“No way,” he chuckled. “I bought this for Trinity when we first ‘dating’ her.” Thaddeus pulled the box back out of his hand. “And what, you were going to propose to her like humans do? And without me?” A look of hurt surrounded his tough features, but Theon only grabbed his shoulders.

“Of course not! It was for the both of us. I was going to have us propose to her, just like they do in those human movies. She grew up like a human, so don’t you think she always had that dream of being proposed to, having a wedding?”

Thaddeus thoughtfully put his fingers to his chin, rubbing the scratchy beard he was growing. “You’re right. We should do something now and guess what?” Theon raised a brow.

“It’s February 14th in the human world.” Theon’s eyes brightened instantly.

“Dude, no way. This will be the cheesiest proposal to date,” he laughed loudly, only to hear the door creek open. Hiding the box in his pocket, a fiery redhead poked her head in the door.

Swollen with their first-born child, Trinity rubbed her enormous belly. “You couldn’t hear me pounding up the stairs? Usually you meet me halfway?” She puffed out an exhausted breath, sitting in the nearest decorative chair. Trinity was due any day, and her mates made sure she was well taken care of. Even if that meant listening to her pounding up the stairs, they would run to her and carry her the rest of the way up, but unfortunately, their excitement got the best of them.

“I’m so sorry, my love,” Thaddeus got on his knees, rubbing his head to her swollen belly. “We were discussing pack matters and got carried away.” Theon knelt on the other side, kissing her hand.

“And we are sorry, but our afternoon out will have to be postponed until this evening. Some things have come up.” Thaddeus and Theon continued to mind-link each other, making sure their stories were straight. What they really had planned on doing was making the perfect setting for their proposal and shortly after a wedding that would make any human jealous.

“Oh,” Trinity sighed, disappointed. Her l*p pouted, something she didn’t normally do until this pregnancy came into play. She milked every bit of the attention she got. She knew once the baby came, she would have to share her mates and time with a little baby.

“Don’t be sad, babe, we will make up for it, we promise,” Theon winked at her. Trinity knew that wink. Pregnancy had made her extra horny, and they had been at it like wolves in heat since the morning sickness had gone away. Trinity nodded her head, still disappointed that the rest of the day was now unplanned.

“We do have a little surprise,” Thaddeus spoke, rubbing her cheek. “Your mother, ours, and our sisters wanted to have a spa day. Would you like to do that?” Trinity’s face lit up like the second light source. She had gained two wonderful sisters that treated her like b***d. They both were funny, had their quirks, and could talk freely with them about any mate disagreements or trouble.

Not to mention, having her mates’ mother there was a special treat. The aura she expelled didn’t just calm any fierce beast, but her anxiousness for the baby to come. “I’d love that,” she mused as she gazed into their eyes.

…..

Trinity was sent to the Moon Kingdom castle, having her spa day in the royal suites. Her hair was to be curled and pressed, her hair, makeup and nails all done. Not to mention spending her time with her mother and her favorite people. It was the perfect setup for Theon and Thaddeus to gather everything they needed.

They worked tirelessly, informing the pack that their Luna was to be surprised this evening with a human custom. Many had not heard of engagements or weddings, so this was a cultural experience they were really to help with.

Tables and chairs were gathered, flowers brought in from several neighboring faes that had taken up a colony near the Warrior Pack. Food was compiled into a massive feast that would make their own ceremony a few months ago look like garbage. Live music, bands and the sort had already gathered and the wolves all became anxious.

“What if she says, ‘no,’” a little pup asked questioningly as his mother hung up another streamer. The two alphas hadn’t thought of that. She could say no. Could she say no? She was baring her pup, she was the Luna. What if it was all just a game, this proposal? The mother gave glaring eyes at the pup, unable to comprehend such a thing.

“Are you serious? Haven’t you watched those movies with me? She will say yes, of course she will!” The alpha’s visibly relaxed.

“Not unless they had done something warranting her not to say yes,” she trailed off. The alphas gripped their chests again, worrying if they had done something wrong recently.

Night had come, and Trinity, along with the other women, were climbing out of the carriage. Trinity was in a long black maxi dress with her hair pulled up into a bun. Diamond drop earrings adorned her ears, and a smile covered her face. Both Thaddeus and Theon had been waiting for Trinity’s foot before she could descend from the carriage. Their hands reached for both of hers, her face filled with confusion as she arrived not just at the pack house but at a beautiful meadow.

The girls inside the carriage giggled, telling the driver to head back. Trinity’s earrings touched her slender neck as she looked too around her. Instead of a red carpet leading to the small white tended gazebo, they opted for white. Blue wisps lined the way, buzzing around the fabric, lighting it up to a beautiful blue. “W-what is this?” Trinity whispered almost to herself. They had already mated, they wooed her, made her fall in love with them and now she was carrying their pup, imagining they would do something as this had her flabbergasted.

“We just want to show you how special you are, mate,” Theon purred, kissing his mark. “We will always show you how much we care,” Thaddeus spoke, kissing his mark. Her arm linked through both of their arms, ascending the hill. The beautiful tulle surrounding the corners flowed into the Bergarian wind, smells of sweet lavender and vanilla continuing to swell from the lighted candles.

No chairs or places to sit, just a large area full of candles sitting on the ground. The moon was hidden from the tent, and sweet music played in the distance towards the pack house. The melody had Trinity’s eyes watered watching her mates.

Not paying attention to the mates in front of her, her eyes glanced through the forest trees. Small lights danced around the entire meadow. They had thought of everything after reading several articles, making the perfect setting for a proposal. This would top them all.

“Trinity,” Theon spoke, grabbing her hand. “We want you to know how much we love you. From the first time we saw you, even though you were our mate, we knew you were special.” Thaddeus grabbed the other hand, staring deep into her eyes.

“Bond or not, we would have still fought for you, loved you and taken care of you, even if you didn’t want it.” Trinity giggled, thinking about how she had been independent for so long.

Thaddeus and Theon grinned, looking at each other, both descending on bended knee. Once they realized they only had one knee on the ground, they moved the other, having both knees side by side begging for her to say, ‘yes.’”

“Trinity, we don’t deserve you,” Thaddeus spoke. “You are the mate we have always wanted and more. Your fiery spirt has us wanting to become better alpha’s and better mate to you.”

“More than anything, would walk through the fires of the underworld to be with you, to make you happy. With that being said, we want to ask you a question.” Theon reached into his pocket.

Trinity, being pregnant and her hormones going wild, cried. She couldn’t wipe her tears, she because she dared not let go of either of their hands.

“Trinity,” Theon and Thaddeus both spoke. “Will you marry us, to have and to hold?” Trinity heaved a heavy, giggily sigh. Her tears dropping on each of her mates’ hands.

“Being both of your mates has been the best decision I’ve ever made. Even if I did dream of having a wedding or a ring, I didn’t need it,” she cried again. Thaddeus and Theon rose off their knees, taking their handkerchiefs and wiping her mascara filled tears.

“I don’t need a ring or a wedding,” Trinity hiccuped. “Because I have both of you already here…” Trinity pointed to each shoulder… “and here.” Finally, pointing to her heart. Theon and Thaddeus’ heart grew three times the size. She gave up all of those human dreams because she loved them so. It didn’t matter a human girl’s dream came true or not, the love they all shared was enough.

“With that said,” Theon sniffed, trying not to cry. “Will you still marry us? Because we already got the ring and a party ready?” Trinity laughed, drying her tears.

“I would love to,” Thaddeus opened the box in Theon’s hand showing a beautiful pear-shaped diamond ring. During the day, he had the treasures of the castle put a crescent moon on one side and a leaf on the other, symbolizing her wolf and elf heritage. Trinity nodded, inspecting just how beautiful it was. They both placed it on her finger as they made a giant Trinity sandwich the best they could without squishing their little alpha inside.

“Now we get married,” Thaddeus growled in her ear, holding her swollen stomach.

“Right now?” Trinity squealed, “I don’t have a dress!” Theon smirked, throwing a glance at the far corner of the gazebo. With a pull of string, the entire gazebo was trapped with white sheets, now suitable for a changing room.

Trinity’s eyes widened, gazing at the dress in the corner. It was an empire waisted, ivory gown with gorgeous white pears and antique white leaves donning every hemline. “It’s beautiful.”

The trio walked up to the back courtyard of the pack house. Kissing her cheeks, they left her at the start of the aisle for her parents to give her away. Once Theon and Thaddeus arrived at the altar, they adjusting the tuxedos. Wiping sweat from their foreheads from their own nervousness.

Trinity held the beautiful flowers close to her as her mother and father reached her side. “You both knew about this?” Trinity sniffed, holding back her cries.

“It was such a secret, they didn’t tell us about it until today. Isn’t it so romantic?” Evangeline cooed at her daughter. Her father, Folen, looked between the altar and his mate.

“Would you want to have one of these?” Folen waved his hands at the beautiful flowered archway, tulle hanging from the trees and large benches full of the Warrior Pack, family and friends. Evangeline smiled, only blowing her mate a k**s. “I’m happy with what we have. It is just sweet that they would give Trinity such a wonderful Valentine’s Day.”

“Valentines Day?” Folen looked forward, unable to process the holiday. His eyes widened. “Is that today?” Evangeline giggled with her daughter, now strumming down the aisle to a beautiful harp tune.

Trinity saw the many faces that she knew and love. The pack members, Sadie and Seth, Evelyn and Max, Mia and Marco, former King Emilio, Queen Estar and a new couple she had recently met just a few days that lived on Earth and came to visit family, Jack and Rosalie of the Nightcrawlers. Trinity glanced at Rosalie, who pulled out a dainty handkerchief patting her eye. Jack pulled her close, whispering in her ear only for Jack to k**s her pouty lips.

As Trinity stepped forward, her parents giving her away, both her mates came to her side. Trinity couldn’t tell you what was being said by the sorceress, what it all meant or mean, but it was certainly was not a human ceremony. There was humming and singing, but Trinity smiled, watching how elaborate and dramatic they made the vows.

Trinity beamed, thinking how hard her two wonderful mates had gone to all the trouble to put on this lavish Valentine’s Day. She didn’t even think they knew about it.

“You look gorgeous,” Theon mind-linked.

“Ravishing,” Thaddeus replied. Her flowers clutched tightly around her bouquet, feeling a twinge of pain in her stomach. “even when I am as big as the pack house?” She chuckled.

“Baby, you do not know what is in store for you after the party,” Thaddeus squeezed her rear in front of the congregation behind her. Several whispered, snickered, and giggled at the poor bride’s expense. Meanwhile, Trinity’s eyes widened, her grip twisting the flower stems to break.

“I think that part might have to wait,” Trinity muttered out loud. The sorceress stopped speaking. Both of her mates looked at the now broken bouquet.

“Because my water just broke.”
