Her Forever

(Book 5)- Chapter 14

Thaddeus POV

“That went well,” I optimistically pranced to the other side of the chair. Trinity’s head had rolled to the side, her eyelids twitched while her body went relatively still. “Gods, she’s beautiful when she’s sleeping.”

Theon threw his hands up and growled. “That did NOT go well. She passed out! Now she will think all of this is a dream.”

“Why would she think that? We will be here when she wakes up, and one of us will shift again if she doesn’t believe it,” I pushed her hair behind her ear. “Besides, I think she passed out because she saw how big my d**k was. She doesn’t know how she is going to take…,” I waved my hands around the lower region of my body. “This.”

“We are identical twins; we have the same,… everything except your positively optimistic attitude right now.” Theon rubbed his eyebrows with this thumb as he began to think. I just stared at my gorgeous mate. Little pants, her chest rising while she breathed, I wanted to reveal in it. Curl my head upright in between her breasts and fall asleep. Theon was spouting nonsense again as I picked her up with one arm under her legs and one behind her back.

“Where are you going?” Theon walked after me.

“To put our mate to bed, where she is comfortable.” I was stopped mid-stride when Theon gripped my arm.

“While you are naked? If she woke up right now, she would think you were trying to do something to her! Just leave her in the chair.”

“No,” I snapped. “She will be more comfortable in the bed. She might get a crick in her neck.”

“Oh gods, that terrible hick slang has already invaded your head. Put. Her. In. The. Chair,” he growled.

“No!”

“Are you guys gonna hurt me?” A whimper came from my arms while Trinity’s green eyes poked through her lashes. “Because if you are,” she paused while an open hand slapped me right across the face.

“f**k!” I yelled, dropping her only to have Theon catch her on the floor. Trinity screamed as she scooted away from us, raced to her living room side table drawer. Opening it, she fished through an empty drawer, not finding the gun she had typically placed there.

“We took it,” Theon g*****d as he sat up. “Didn’t need you shooting us now.”

“I know, jujitsu!” Trinity went into a crouch, ready to hit one of us. Right now, I wanted to laugh. How freaking adorable she was. This tiny thing wanted to take on two large alphas. The fire in her eyes wasn’t joking, but my smile only grew.

“What is so funny? I’ll make you bleed!” Swinging her leg around, she got dangerously close to the goods as we cupped them and stood back.

“Hang on, Trinity, we are not going to hurt you, especially like this,” Theon said. He still had his hands cupping his junk, but I let it all hang out. Every bit of it. “In fact, why don’t you go get us some pants, Thaddeus,” I hissed, not wanting to leave the room. I decided to give a show, flexing my muscles and wiggling my eyebrows at her as I sauntered out of the room.

Trinity’s eyes trailed after me with pure curiosity. Theon and I could still smell her fear, but not as noticeable as before. Then let out a breath and tried to explain. I kept my ears open as I looked for the right thing to wear.

“We are sorry, Trinity. We just didn’t know how to tell you without freaking out.” Trinity stood up and folded her arms over her chest. Even from this far away, they looked appetizing.

“You should have told me sooner; you have watched me, slept in my bed, and you have seen me… do things,” she whispered. Theon laughed, only angering her more. I walked back in, wearing nothing but black boxer briefs; Theon rolled his eyes put mine his quickly.

Feeling Trinity’s eyes on me made my body heat up, but I knew I shouldn’t say a word. We had seen her completely naked several times, and she was getting her good looks in. It made me puff out my chest with pride. She thought we were good eye candy.

“You both should have told me sooner, like the first day!” She complained. “I’ve talked to you guys, spilled secrets, and I feel completely violated! You need to leave!” Trinity’s voice cracked as she held onto her body tightly. This was the first time I had seen her vulnerable. She puts up a wall, a wall where it is hard to climb over or destroy. She’s had to learn the hard way for so many years, and she was starting to break in front of us.

Isn’t that what we wanted? To wiggle into her heart so she wouldn’t immediately kick us out? We were her pups, her babies, she called us. We didn’t want to leave, and little did she know, we weren’t going to.

“We aren’t leaving,” I growled out. I took a step forward, Theon putting a hand on my shoulder for comfort. “We are werewolves, Trinity, that you now know. There is something even more important than that you need to know.” I glanced to Theon, hoping he would take charge. My fists would tense then relax, wanting to do nothing but hold her in my arms. I couldn’t, not yet.

Theon’s gentle squeeze urged me to say it. “Trinity, you are what humans call our soul mate. You were made for us as we were to you.” Trinity’s mouth opened, and she shook her head.

“It’s true,” Theon stepped forward. “We have looked for your all our lives, we have traveled far to find you, but only, in the end, you end up finding us. The Moon Goddess paired us with you, our perfect match. We want to shower you with affection and love and treat you like a queen.”

Hearing Trinity’s heart beat fast, I prepared for her to faint again, but she held firm. Her arm caught her on the table behind her as one hand was lying on her chest. “What?” she whispered. “That, that doesn’t make sense. Soul mates aren’t real.”

“They are,” we both spoke at the same time. “Did you not feel the heat of our touch on your skin? Your body surrendered, your mind surrendered too, Trinity,” my hand reached out to cup her cheek. Sparks flew across her skin while she trembled, failing at pulling away from our touch. Words escaped her; her eyes darted from each of us as we let the information settle.

“So, are you really Thumper and Bambi?” Snickering, Theon nodded his head. “And you are werewolves,” we both nodded again. Trinity was putting the pieces together, albeit a bit slow, but it was happening. “And I’m your soul mate?” We nodded for the third time as her body sunk down the wall, and she put her legs up to her body. Hugging herself, she rocked in the same spot a few minutes, muttering.

“This can’t be happening. Is this real? Is this a dream? Did someone spike my drink?” Theon’s hand reached out and touched her arm; looking up questioningly, Trinity allowed it.

“Would it be better if I shifted? So you can see again?” Trinity gripped her legs tighter, whispering a yes.

Theon shifted, bones cracking and hair sprouting. Trinity didn’t look away; she stared in awe as little gasps left her soft lips. I pulled back another strand of her wild hair; she didn’t move away, making me hopeful. Once complete, Theon trotted over and sat in front of her, toes to toes.

Trinity’s fingers ran through Theon’s hair; he purred while closing his eyes. “Thumper?” It was barely audible, but I heard it. “Thaddeus, you are Bambi?” I rubbed her knuckles with my thumb and gave a small smile. “Theon is Thumper?” Theon put his nose under her hand that laid on top of her knee.

Trinity

What freaking rabbit hole did I fall down into?

My two pets, my wolves and my babies, are twin hotties who say that I am their mate. Like the both of them? And they are werewolves. Where do I even start with all of this?

My brain did the ultimate brain fart as I sat there on the floor. Petting Theon and wondering if Thaddeus was getting jealous because his finger tapped lightly on the floor beside him. His boxer briefs were highly distracting. He was nothing but 200 pounds plus of muscle, and here I was stroking his brother.

“Do I need to pet you too?” I mumbled. I lifted my hand to pet his hand that had securely touched my knee, coping his brother who had his paw on the other. I could barely keep myself satisfied and happy; how was I going to keep two men happy? Was I really thinking about doing this? Being with two men was utterly taboo.

Yet, I felt warm around them. Just like I did when they werewolves. I always had a connection with them from the first day I brought them home. They slept in my bed, and I had never slept more soundly with them there. Would it be the same in their human form too?

Thaddeus sighed; tension was relieved as soon as he was getting the same attention as his brother. I am still a firm believer that I was dreaming, and all of this would be gone when I woke up. I would start our journey tomorrow and forget this all happened and pray someone spiked my drink. Maybe I even went home with the two sexy men and became a nice Trinity sandwich. I will just wake up in the morning embarrassed.

As real as this fur and the warmth of this hand on my knees felt, I doubt I was dreaming.

“Um, so I have questions. A lot of questions.” Theon trotted off to the other room, and after a bit of cracking, he walked back out with jogger pants on. Holy hell, that v-line. I felt my chin being pushed back up into my mouth by a hand and started coughing.

“Sorry, your mouth was hanging open,” Thaddeus smirked while I jerked my hand away. I knew I would have to keep an eye on Thaddeus; he looked handsy, and if I remember correctly, he had gotten really close to the cooter the last time he touched me on the dance floor.

We walked to the living room couches; I made them sit on the couch while I sat in my elaborately colored decorative chair I fell in love with. It was the first piece of furniture I bought, and it had beautiful reds and greens that I couldn’t pass up. It was my first decision to make a home, a home. The boys sat quietly and were a bit disappointed at our distance.

“Alright, how long have werewolves been around exactly?”

“A while,” Theon sighed. “Thousands of years, a little after humans were created. The gods, you may know as the Greek Gods, created us when some lesser gods decided to experiment with humans. Ares was tasked to get rid of the experimented humans that became evil and rabid. Ares needed an army. He picked the strongest humans and, with the help of Selene, helped turn them into wolves. They could shift back and forth but still, keep all the qualities wolves had. Strength, speed, agility were able to help Ares defeat the evils of Earth. Ares thanked the wolves and went on his way. However, time passes, and the wolves became restless.”

I sat with my legs crossed, listening to their story. Theon was speaking so passionately about it, I wanted to believe him.

“The Goddess Selene intervened. She created soul mates. A werewolf’s soul craved violence to defeat and fight, but if the wolf was gifted someone to care for, then it would satisfy the wolf inside them. Each werewolf created from then on had a soul mate. Selene pairs the souls using her Sphere of Souls to connect them together. Making it easier to find one another.”

“But there are two of you,” I pointed. “And only one of me,” I interrupted. They both smiled at me and then at each other.

“We are identical twins; we share a soul. One s***m, one egg, we split and share the same soul. That means we share the same mate.”

My mouth dropped hearing this. “Two of you, both of you?” I stuttered as I covered my mouth. Both were concerned as they glanced at me.

“We know it may be hard to believe,” Thaddeus spoke, but I shook my head.

“This is all so crazy!” I blurted. “Am I on camera? Is this some kind of joke? First werewolves, and then I am supposed to be OK with this? Don’t I have a say?”

“Of course, you have a say!” Theon stood up. His pants hung lower, and I turned my body to talk to the wall. Damn those cut abs. “You can choose to reject us,” Thaddeus growled at Theon’s statement.

Which I found really hot.

“But before you do, will you give us a chance?” Theon pulled my arm away from my body and turned me around. “Do you feel this?” His finger trailed up my arm as tiny sparks flew up my skin. Feeling instantly warm, I sighed into it. Thaddeus came up, put his hand in my free one, and intertwined my fingers.

“I know you can’t smell us, but we can smell you. Your scent is alluring, strong, and the best scent we could have ever asked for. You smell like ginger snaps and Christmas,” Thaddeus chuckled in my ear.”

“I can smell you, I think,” I muttered. “Theon, you smell like an old whisky, Thaddeus; you smell like new leather.” We all smiled as now Theon laced his fingers in my hands.

“Just give us a chance, Trinity. You’ve been through s**t; maybe that is why Selene blessed you to us. Because she knows how much we want to spoil, protect and love our mate.”

Tears pricked my eyes. I didn’t want to cry, not in front of them. They were these hot guys, and I was just me. A woman running from her problems.

“Are you sure I’m your mate? Because I don’t think I can handle a joke right now,” I whispered.

“We have never been so sure in our entire lives.” I let them make a Trinity sandwich. They both held me in their arms as I cried. I wasn’t sure if I was crying because I was scared, unsure, or because of the massive amount of information; I was just force-fed with so much information.

This was all new, and I was going to take it slow. However, with Thaddeus’ hand on my a*s, slow might mean something entirely different.
