Amaya: “What do you mean?! I'm human.”

Azar: “I don't know but I'm sure that I'm right about this.”

Amaya: “I did feel my temperature rising but I thought I probably caught a cold from swimming in the cold water.”

Azar: “This is only the beginning. It didn't reach its peak yet.”

Amaya: “What are we gonna do then?”

Azar: “I don't know. I won't be able to control myself around you.”

Amaya: “You don't have to. We’re mates after all. We should complete our bond.”

Azar: “I can't.”

Amaya: “What do you mean you can't?!”

Azar: “I can't risk hurting you.”

Amaya: “Stop that.”

Azar: “Go to your room.”

Amaya: “NO!! (Azar runs). Where are you going?!”

In Amaya’s head: Did he just run away from me?! (Azar’s room)

In Azar’s head: What am I gonna do?

Blaise: “Mark her.”

Azar: “I told you to go to your room.”

Amaya: “What the hell is wrong with you?! You ran away from me and I most certainly won't do as I'm told. You're not gonna treat me like I'm a pet.”

Azar: “I didn't mean it like that.”

Amaya: “The moment you saw me you started roaring mate and all that makes shit. I don't know how it's possible and I don't even know why because I'm human. But I've been punished for it since the day I was born. Then I met you and all of this weird shit started happening. You told me that we are mates. You brought me here. Yes, I feel it too. I don't know how but I feel it. So what's the problem?! Me being human? Just reject me then and then the problem is solved.”

Azar: “I don't know what will happen if I mark you!!”

Amaya: “Stop that!! We're obviously mates for a reason. Did your fire hurt me?!”

Azar: “No.”

Amaya: “Then what?!”

Azar: “I can barely control myself. How will I do it now that you're in the heat?!”

Amaya: “I'm telling you that you don't need to control yourself.”

Azar: “But you're human.”

Amaya: “Here we go again. I'm telling you I don't care. I want you. (Azar runs). AZAR GET BACK HERE!! What on earth are you doing?! Did you just put all of these clothes over my towel and a scarf?!”

Azar: “Your scent is becoming more and more irresistible with each second. Blaise and I can't take it. (Amaya takes off the scarf)”

Amaya: “That's what heat is for. To ensure mates to complete the bond. I see what this is all about. You're not sure if you wanna be mated to me.”

Azar: “I never said that and you know that's not true.”

Amaya: “If you don't want me to say that.”

Thorne: “What's happening?”

Amaya: “I'll tell you what's happening. He says that I'm in heat.”

Miranda: “Are you sure about that?”

Thorne: “Azar? Her scent is still the same.”

Miranda: “True, she smells like always. If she was in heat, we would be able to sense it.”

Azar: “I know what I feel, I'm not crazy. I'm hardly containing myself right now. Not to mention Blaise.”

Amaya: “Then don't. (Azar leaves)”

Thorne: “I'll go talk to him.”

Miranda: “Bub? (Amaya storms to her room). We’ll sort this out.”

Amaya: “How? I don't see any solution.”

Miranda: “But it's true that your scent hasn't changed for us. It doesn't make any sense.”

Amaya: “Can't you see that nothing makes sense here? Me being born doesn't make sense. Me having a mate either. We don't have the answer to any of those questions.”

Miranda: “I don't know. Maybe he’s the only one that can feel the change. Your human.”

Amaya: “Why is he fighting it then?”

Miranda: “It's clear that he's afraid.”

Amaya: “He shouldn't have started this whole mate shit if he was afraid.”

Miranda: “Amaya…”

Amaya: “What?! I'm tired of this shit.”

Miranda: “How do you feel?”

Amaya: “I need him.”

Miranda: “Oh God…”

Khiara: “Hi darlings. I’m Khiara, Azar’s sister.”

Miranda: “Nice to meet you.”

Khiara: “You guys are beautiful. Thorne mindlinked us to come as my brother is losing it again. So we came as backup. My mate Cole is now with the two of them but Thorne is right. I can't catch your scent. You smell like an ordinary human.”

Amaya: “Why thank you.”

Khiara: “I didn't mean it like that. By the attitude I can already tell why your Azar’s mate.”

Amaya: “Why doesn't he want to mark me then?”

Khiara: “We never heard of a wolf having a human mate before and as you can see, he's not just an ordinary wolf. not only that he has powers. He’s soon gonna become the alpha of all alphas. None of us knows what will happen if he marks you. We know for sure that you can't mark him.”

Miranda: “What will happen to her if they don't mate?”

Khiara: “The female wolf would be in pain. The more time that passes the pain becomes worse. But she isn’t a wolf.”

Amaya: “What am I supposed to do?”

Khiara: “He won't be able to resist you for too long but we can give him a little push.”

Miranda: “How?”

Khiara: “Simple. Make her even more irresistible to him. Operation complete the mate bond may begin. (few hours later in Amaya’s bathroom)”

In Amaya’s head: Khiara came up with a plan. I need to seduce Azar more. I didn't know how I felt about it. If we are truly mates, then it won't be necessary but I guess she's right. He's just afraid and he told me that. There's nothing more to it. He wants me right? After a few hours everyone left…giving us privacy. Thorne said Azar has calmed down a bit. I heard him exit his room. He must’ve went out on the balcony. He loves that place and view as much as I do. hair goes nothing. (Azar’s balcony)

In Azar’s head: She’s coming.

Amaya: “Can we talk now?”

Azar: “Amaya…why are you doing this?”

Amaya: “I'm not doing anything.”

Azar: “Don’t.”

Amaya: “Why?”

Azar: “I've been thinking. It's for the best if we stay away from each other.”
