Harlow

Harlow's POV

Tomorrow was my 12 week scan to check the progress of my baby. I had stayed with Toby, he had been there every step of the way. He would hold my hair when I was vomiting and just supported me a lot. He hadn't left my side even when we were at school. We had a few classes together and he would make sure I was eating and drinking properly and would carry my bag if it was heavy. It was cute to be honest but I felt bad for being a burden. Dean had turned up several times at Toby's place and at school demanding to see me because it was his baby. Steve had stepped in several times as had Leo, Kody and Toby.

Hendrix started to turn up with Dean. This morning when we turned up at school they were both waiting for me. Hendrix was yelling about how I was being disrespectful to Dean and his club and that I belonged to Dean now. I couldn't believe what my brother was saying. I tried to ignore them and go into school but Hendrix grabbed hold of me attempting to drag me to his bike. Toby and I were fighting him but he wouldn't let go. One of the teachers who had seen what was happening ended up stepping in to stop Hendrix. He sent us to class and threatened to call the police on Hendrix and Dean.

As Toby and I were walking away Dean called out "this isn't over Harlow. You will be coming with me today willingly or by force". I text Kody and Leo to let them know what had gone down and they promised to sort it for me. Toby and I had maths together first and I was not feeling great. I was getting a few little cramps in my stomach but thought it was cause I was worried about what Dean had said.

Next thing I knew I felt liquid running down my leg. I looked down seeing pinkish liquid running down my leg. "Toby" I said grabbing his arm. He looked at me then looked down "shit" he replied. He took his shirt off and told me to put it around my waist "I'm going to pick you up Harl's and take you to the hospital ok?" He asked. I just nodded my head. Toby picked me up and carried me out of the classroom straight to his car. He sped to the hospital and rushed me into the emergency department. While we waited for the doctor he called his mum, Leo and Kody who were rushing to the hospital.

I started to get some more cramping in my stomach which caused me to double over in pain. The nurse put me in a private room and told me I could wait here until the doctor could see me. I had tears running down my face and I knew I was losing my baby. Kody, Leo and Sue arrived with Sue pulling me into a hug and not letting go. She held me while I broke down. The doctor walked in and the boys were kicked out. He checked me and saw that I was in fact losing the baby before he sent me home with pain killers as there was nothing he could do for me. He told me if I hadn't passed the foetus within a few days to come back so they could do a d&c. Sue held me as we walked out of the hospital. I was placed in the car and driven back to Sue's place.

Toby walked me into the shower and helped me clean myself up. He had seen me naked before and at this point I didn't care about it. I was broken. My brothers didn't say anything about it at all. Sue had left a pad for me and Toby gave me one of his shirts. When I was dressed he lead me to his bed which now had towels on it. He laid me down and then got beside me holding me while I cried. Sue tried to give me some pain killers but I wanted to feel everything. This was my fault and I deserved to feel pain. I couldn't keep my baby safe.

I must of fallen asleep because next minute I heard banging on the door. I woke up and immediately doubled over in pain. I needed to vomit as the pain was really bad now so ran to the toilet vomiting. Toby was behind me holding my hair. "Come on Harl's back to bed. You need the pain meds" he said. He helped me to my feet but I screamed out in pain. I needed to use the toilet so pushed Toby out. I quickly sat on the toilet and the pain was getting worse. I couldn't hold my screams in.

Sue and Toby came into the room. Sue held my hand while Toby stood watching me "that's it sweet girl. It will be all over soon" Sue said. Toby came over next to me and took my hand. I screamed and squeezed both Toby and Sue's hand as I lost my smudge, my baby. I screamed in pain as the cramps got closer together and more intense squeezing Sue and Toby's hand as the pain intensified. We heard a small plop in the toilet and I screamed in agony.

Kody's POV

When we got back to Sue and Steve's place, Harlow looked completely broken. Toby had to help her shower and then took her to bed. Once she fell asleep he came down and told us what had happened at school. I was fucken furious with Hendrix and Dean. I called Mac and told him what was going on. He was going to drop Owen to his mum and head over.

All we could do is wait and be here for Harlow. She was going to need as much support as possible when this was over. Mac turned up while Harlow was still sleeping and then we heard banging on the door. Just as we heard Harlow screaming in pain Leo opened the door to Hendrix and Dean. The security door was locked so they couldn't get in. I stood next to Leo and stared at them both ashamed of being related to one of them. "What the fuck do you both want?" I asked. "We are taking Harlow with us. Hand her over" Dean spat. Harlow started to scream in pain again and Sue and Toby quickly entered the bathroom where she was. "What the fuck is going on? Why is Harlow screaming?" Hendrix asked. "Because of you both. She is up there losing the baby. You fucken had to drag her round the school when you knew stress could hurt the baby" I fumed out.

Harlow continued to scream in agony while Dean and Hendrix tried to argue there way into the house and screamed she had to be taken to a hospital. There was nothing anyone could do to stop what was happening. Harlow let out the most painful scream I had heard and I knew she had passed the baby as she was loudly sobbing.

"I'm warning both of you, go near her again and I will kill you. You both have done enough damage already" I said slamming the door in there faces. I headed upstairs to my sister along with Leo and Mac. She was carried out of the bathroom by Toby sobbing into his chest. "Harlow, I'm so sorry" I said to her but she didn't even notice. We followed Toby into his room and watched as he laid her on the bed. She refused to let go of him at all and we stayed with the both of them until she fell asleep sobbing for the loss of her baby.
