Galaxy Of Hope

Chapter Boarded (2)

‘Welcome sir, madame.’ A stewardess with some great red stiletto’s on greeted us. That’s when Sebastian dropped me down and planted a swift kiss on my lips. My face was probably red from the hanging and I quickly fixed my hair which he ruffled over again. The bastard.

‘Thank you.’ I sighed to the woman, which nametag read Chelsea. She was really pretty. Strawberry blonde hair in a tight bun and an all blue stewardess outfit on. Andrew and Jax walked in too. They had met each other a few times more than Sebastian had. Because I had spent a few weeks at Maddox Manor and Andrew had stayed there as well to guard me. They seemed cool with each other.

I turned around and glanced into the plane. Everything was beige and gold. Smooth leather seats, two four-seater blocks and a long couch at the far back, in front of it a beige curtain was raised. There was a bar at the other side of the couch where another stewardess with red hair, was pouring Dosch a drink. Oak was seated at the right side of the right-four-seater and was ogling his Telvice. His laptop was also opened in front of his table. Ash was in a heated discussion on his Telvice, at the left side of the four-seater, with god knows who. But he was livid. All three of them glanced towards the entrance at once.

‘Than fucking fix it!’ Ash yelled before slamming the Telvice down and running a big hand through his white hair. ‘Fucking clowns.’

‘Don’t pop a blood vessel, Briareve.’ Sneered Dosch from behind a whiskey tumbler.

Ash ignored him.

‘What was that all about?’ I asked and walked further down the aisle. Ash and I had been cool lately, nothing like we used to be because he still kept his distance but we were better. He sighed and glanced at Oak. I looked his way as well. What was he asking for permission for?

Oak answered for him. ‘When our first dad died he left us in a bad spot. He had accumulated some debts apparently.’ Ash glanced at Dosch in a furious way. Like he was solely responsible for this.

‘If it wasn’t for his casino’s we wouldn’t be here.’ Oak clarified pointing at Dominic Rios. Oh I see.

‘Everything is going to be alright I hope?’ I sighed, suddenly worried for them and Sky.

Oak nodded. ‘Nothing our lawyers can’t handle.’ And by lawyers he meant one of Sebastian’s other dads, the best lawyer in the state.

Andrew shook Oak’s hand and then shook Ash. When the first one was a polite respectful handshake the second one looked like an epic finger throwdown.

‘Guys.’ I sighed. Both of them dropped each other’s hands and turned away. Jax just sat himself down in front of Oak and ordered a Fae Whiskey from Chelsea. I walked towards the back and glanced at the bar. It was damn impressive in here.

Andrew was following me. I guess he had been in many private planes, being Vincent’s right hand man for all these years. He put his hand on my lower back. ‘Do you want anything from the bar?’ he asked. ‘Already got her covered.’ Dominic handed me a Maverick, I could tell by the color of the glass. Dosch did not know that Andrew had introduced me to this drink and I saw the small smile color Andrew’s lips at that. I accepted the glass. ‘Thanks Dosch.’

He stepped forward and gave me a soft kiss. Right in front of everyone.

‘I will never get used to that.’ Sighed Ash before dropping down in his seat by the window. Andrew’s jaw and fist were clenching. He was this close to knocking him out. The two of them would never see eye to eye, they had grown up Scorpio and Libra, at two very different factions of the same coin. This was the most difficult pairing of all bondmates. I cannot even imagine how this was going to work at all.

I noticed Andrew ordering a water so I walked over to Oak and sat down next to him. At the other side of the aisle was Ash, still typing away on his Telvice. He was still livid.

Andrew took his water glass and sat himself down opposite me, next to Jax. Dosch took the seat behind us, on the large couch. Some ferns and orchids were separating us from each other. While Sebastian was sitting cross from Ash at the other seats by the aisle.

Oak took my hand under the table and squeezed before kissing my cheek quickly. ‘You okay?’ he asked. I nodded. I was always nervous with seeing Vincent and even more now that he was going to release more information on my past. I still had no clue who I was and how I could even be half-Rainer. It meant one of my parents had been one, or they hadn’t been my biological parents at all. I hope to find some clarity today, but either way my world would be rocked. I was sure of it. It would be a tipping point. Andrew and Jax also noticed my anxiety.

‘You will be more than fine, princess.’ Andrew said and drank from his glass.

Jax had received a beer from Chelsea and had almost finished it. Andrew motioned to all the other guys in the room. ‘You think he will get a single shot in, with all of us there?’ Sebastian snorted at that, because it was true. ‘I would like to see him try.’ Drawled Ash.

For behind us Dosch chipped in. His voice a deep, silken smooth drawl as usual. ‘Not even a single hair on that head, Carina. Not a single one.’

I felt so appreciated and cared for in this room, my heart bloomed. ‘Thanks guys. But it’s Vincent.’ I sighed. ‘You never really know what he got planned.’ Nobody corrected me, so at least no one was going to lie to me today. As the plane drew nearer to the Dornatill, I knew we were in for a wild day. I just hadn’t expected the madness that was about to ensue, at all.
