Galactic: The Superhuman Robot

Chapter 14: An Important Meeting

Galactic, the other superhumans and one of their creators meet with the FBI.

Galactic: “This is Sergey, a superhuman robot created by the Russian team of scientists.”

FBI Agent: “Glad to meet you. Galactic has given me a detailed report of the incident that occurred on the Russian plane. It’s obvious the Russians want to know how our superhumans were created and what fuel is used for (their) flight. Sergey would you please leave the room for a moment? We’ll call you back in a while.”

The FBI Agent continues, “Galactic, please give me the video you took of the incident.” Galactic gives the video to the FBI agent and they all view it.

Superhuman: “Mr. Broshnov broke the law. He could be arrested for what he did.”

Another Superhuman: “I agree, but we don’t want to antagonize him, do we?”

FBI Agent: “No, we don’t. Let’s keep the video as evidence of an attempted kidnapping. We can always nab him. Good work Galactic.”

The FBI Agent continues, “It’s of utmost importance that Russia or any other country never find out what fuel is used for your flight. Do you know what would happen if they were to get a hold of that technology? They would create more superhumans to fight their wars. In a nanosecond their superhumans would be able to get to any point on Earth. There would be devastation beyond belief.

Creator: “I’m not sure that would happen. Perhaps if we set up an agreement with the terms to our advantage we could work something out with them.”

FBI Agent: “No, we can’t trust this information to them. And we don’t know if Sergey is who he says he is, a defector. He could be here to get information. He’ll be under house arrest and he’ll stay with you (the Agent points to the superhumans), but don’t discuss your capabilities with him. We’ll question him tomorrow. If we’re satisfied that he’s merely a defector, he won’t have to serve time. We’ll have another meeting next month and I want all of you to attend. Thanks for your cooperation.”
