“Okay, now we are in my house, safe from prying ears since the castle has too many ears and eyes; people talk, and we listen. Somethings we hold sacred, and what I am about to tell you is just that, sacred.”

“What do you mean?”

“Nobody knows, but a few are sworn to secrecy by your mother. For starters, your mother and I grew up together since we were in diapers. She was a vibrant child growing up, always full of curiosity with dreams for herself. Her parents, your grandparents, loved all their children and their pack children. They thought of them as their own and treated each one that.

“Your mom has eight siblings, including herself, she is more of the middle child, but you have uncles close to your age. They are your guards Clara; they are twins, as you know, Steven and Scott.”

“What? Those two are my uncles? EWE, they have seen me naked all these years; how gross. Who else are aunts and uncles? I am one of your aunts, Aunt Sherrie, and this is your Uncle Jeff, and yes, Keelie is your cousin. We are your family looking after you for your mom. She is safe in another pack helping others with their abilities.”

“Abilities? What about siblings? Do I have any?”

“Yes, Ashton is two years younger than you; Addison James, aka AJ, is your older brother by five years and renounced his title to the throne. You also have a sister who is sixteen. Her name is Abby. Addison has a mate within your mother's new pack and is now the beta of that pack. He is also the head trainer for that pack and all packs.”

Clara is stunned at the news of her family and that most of them are inside the castle or packed all for her. She does not know why she could not tell they were all family but was taught how to mask her scent so she can go unnoticed when going out.

“Clara, you will leave early to walk to your mother's pack and start training since your father refuses to let you train here with your cousins. It’s unfair to you, but your father is not a good man. Yes, he sent away your mother when you were just a tiny child, but women t they would meet up in the woods in a small cottage just south of here and spend time there. He stopped going around her until she got pregnant with your brother, Ashton. We do not know why, but we know he has been with others you do not know about until now.”

“What? Father has been cheating on my mother this whole time. Why hasn’t anybody said anything? Oh, and by the way, you have to take this to your grave, too; I have been there training, but I had no idea they were any relations. Names are not given as we are disguised and cannot see each other’s faces or eyes.”

“You have been training? How long has this been going on? It would be best to ask your mothers, my child, that question t. She has moved on with another man but is still legally the queen of this castle. The training that you are doing, you are the only one who can fight Felix and your father. It is your destiny.”

“Yes, I have been training for several years now; I am a marksman with artillery, blades, knives, you name it. I am also a licensed killer and rank first in the group. I go every day and come back here to train. But the thing is, Aunt Sherrie, nobody takes me seriously, and I attack them in two seconds and pin them, every single one of them, and they send me back. It’s because of Dad; he does not allow them to touch me.

“I don’t understand what you are saying, Aunt Sherrie; how old is this Felix, and what can he do that I am the only one who can defeat him and Father?”

Sherrie looks at her mate, and he looks back at her with a knowing look; they must tell but not too much about her future. They decide to keep that one under wraps for the time being until she is closer to becoming the queen once all hell starts to break loose.

“We cannot tell you this information as it is something you will have to find out, but I will warn you of this, keep your lips closed and eyes and ears open at all costs. That will help you learn everything about this pack, your family, and fighting. We will talk again in a few months, if not sooner; you will always be safe with us here but do not let on that you know about any of us. Keep asking your father about family. Play dumb, okay?”

“I can do that, Aunt Sherrie, and thank you both for your time and information about my family. I love you both.”

Clara got up at her standard time and left. She was excited to know more about her family and their names. Nobody gave her their name as it would not be fair to the others. They did not want Clara to have special treatment since they knew how their father and mother were towards them. Her mother decided that she would tell her more after Sherrie texted her and told her they talked.

When she went through a force shield that covered her mother’s entire pack, she could relax as the person who took off their cloak revealed that it was not her mom but her brother, Addison. She looked up at him, not knowing what to say, but she had tears of joy settling in her eyes. She looked around and saw her mother, sister, and Ashton and started balling; they all moved around her, giving her the most significant group hug, all sobbing happily. She was early so they could talk more openly until the rest of the people arrived.

“I am so happy to see you all finally; Father would never tell me anything about you guys, even if you were alive or dead. He refused to talk to me. He just yelled at me. Aunt Sherrie told me everything except why you refused to become the next king Addison.”

“Sis, that is not what we will talk about now, but I will tell you we have always known who you were to us. That is why we let you shower here sometimes after everyone has left. What do you know about Felix?” AJ asked.

“We found out what he is planning to do in two weeks. Father would not send warriors to aid them, but I took the lead and had Dunken and Xavior send texts and emails to those packs along with the video. We are going to help them as much as possible.”

“Good, Felix is the same age as AJ. He is not a nice person at all and will kill to kill. He is very ruthless, hateful, and inconsiderate. I don’t think even a Luna would turn him around to be a good person, and the only way we can get rid of him is by obtaining as many alliances as possible and killing him.”

“What do I need to do to get this bad boy? We know I am a licensed killer, just like most of the ones who have been here training as long as I have. Has he been here to train with us, and we did not know it?”

“That is a good question. Has anyone seen him train?”

“I will have to ask Xavior and Dunken if they have placed someone there to keep tabs on him. Someone who trains here also knows what he will do, and somehow it returns to the king. He called several of us into his office, and we were shown the recording of what Felix planned. The next several attacks will be used with guns and other artillery. Alex trains here too, and we will train our warriors how to use those weapons, but if we can eliminate their threat, it will help.”

“I wish we did not have everyone’s scent masked and have fitted uniforms for all of you, but it is to keep everyone’s identity a secret, but in this case, it does not help. The voices are also masked, so we do not know who we are dealing with in a group setting, but our papers that each person fills out may tell us who we have unless the names are false.”

“Is that even possible they falsified their names? What if they were to get seriously injured? How would they contact their packs? Could you have someone look into these and see if Felix is even here training?”

“AJ, you need to get the alpha and mom to work on this; she doesn’t have to be here to watch the training,” Ashton stated.

“I agree; I will have Mom and our alpha work on this together. Clara, gear up others are about to arrive.” AJ advised her.

AJ and Ashton had already masked their scents and redone Clara’s so that hers would last longer than three or four hours. The masking scent they quickly taught her will last her at least twelve hours, but when she gets back home, she must unmask herself so the others know she is around. The training went well, but Clara must start training with her magic since she is also a witch. This will help her when she goes to fight along with her warriors or other pack members if they are attacked.
