From Princess To Queen

Chapter 1

Training

My alarm goes off and hits snooze five times before I show up, shower, and prepare for my day. I usually only train once I return from my other training. I get dressed before finding my way to the kitchen to grab a light breakfast before heading out. I need the energy to wake me up. I do not drink coffee; I get down my little blender and make a protein shake with vegetables for breakfast. I drink it while cutting up fruit and put some almonds in a bag for extra protein to eat between training. Now I am charged and ready to train. I know how my father feels about me not training, but he reluctantly lets me. He says of taking it easy on me, but I am not fragile like mom is or was. I do not even know where she is anymore, and my father won't tell me, so I do not go and visit her, heck I don't even know if she or my siblings are still alive.

"Who is first to spar with the princess?" Kingslie asks the group as he snickers.

"I will; I will spar with the princess." The unknown deep sexy voice comes out of nowhere.

Everyone makes way for the man as he walks toward the center of the sparing ring. No one knows who this guy is, but he is built like a freight train. He looks like a God dressed in grey shorts and a red t-shirt, which he discards so he would have more room to move. He has an eight-pack and muscles to boot that won't stop. His hair looks like coal, black with his Blue Pacific eyes. He was a dream come true. He had all the girls' heads turning and drooling over him, but he did not care or notice. His eyes were set on the princess only, and he could not wait to spar with her. He needed to touch her in any possible way he could.

"Fine, let us get this done and over with." A not so enthused Clara tells the crowd in a monotonous tone.

"Well, now, princess, let's not act too enthused." He says with a cheeky grin.

"Please don't go easy on me; I hate when these people go easy, it is very boring, and I lose interest very fast. Hence, I can take them out fairly quickly and know all their weak spots. I can give you pointers when and if you decide to spar with them." She smirks at him.

"Oh, do not worry, little one, I will never go easy on you; after all, you are training to fight in a war, and nobody ever takes it easy on the battlefield. I will take any pointers you have against your warriors and guards." The new guy says with a smirk.

They bumped fists and took their stance to fight. He watched her standing there, waiting for him to make his move. This was a battle of who was going to move first or was this going to be a stare-down. Clara sighed,d standing up and giving him a gesture of Let's go. He smirked at her, and when she was not looking, he made his move. She moved out of his way and took him down, instantly holding him in place till he tapped out. He refused to do so and tried to flip her off him.

Clara looked down at his face and grinned, shaking her head 'no' that she would not let up. He tapped out, and she moved off him, helping him up. "Again!" He yelled out, not believing that a princess had taken him down. He wanted to know where she earned her training because it was from somewhere else. Kingslie was not doing any of them justice in training. There needed to be more gaps and weaknesses in them. He could kill all of them without blinking an eye.

"Don't need to, princess; I am watching your moves to see if there is room for improvement."

"Do you still need to watch my moves, or was that good enough?" she bit back bitterly.

"Could you please tell me what you asked of me? We go again like I just said."

Clara rolled her eyes and watched as he stood there. She was studying him to see what he would do, she expected him to move left when he drove right instead of trying to fake her out, and that is when she made hers. She jumped and kicked him, knocking him on his back once again. He jumped up and ran at her while her back was turned towards him, and she did a back flip over his head, landing on his back with her legs wrapped around his torso and her arms around his head and throat, pulling him down backward. Ashe fell; she moved to the front and pinned him again.

"How the hell….what move was that?" he questioned her as he tried to catch his breath.

Everybody stood there with gapped mouths watching their princess fight. Kingslie blew his whistle to stop them sparing before the alpha was killed by accident. Kingslie knew Clara had skills but needed to know the extent of them. Nobody wanted to fight her because she was that good at what she did. She walked off the mats, and everyone else got into their groups and started sparing. He watched how pathetic they all looked compared to Clara's skills and his. He smiled, knowing they would make a perfect fighting team. He decided to join the others in sparing as Clara walked around, pointing out everyone's weaknesses.

"Kingslie, you are one of our head trainers; why do you not build on their weaknesses? That will get them killed in battle, train them better, and make them train like they are in a real battle."

"Yes, princess, I will train our people better," Kingslie tells her.

Kingslie started pointing out everyone's weaknesses and strengthening them in those areas. Making his men and women work twice as hard. The mystery man also helped with the training and showed the proper ways to make each move and make it perfect. He helped Kingslie train the warriors and guards for the next hour or so until it was time for his meeting with the king.

He starts to spar with some of the other pack members and the royal court guards. Clara watches him as he trains with her warriors and guards. Lydia is drooling over the man she is watching. Clara is caught off guard when another wolf comes up and tries to punch her in the head, and she turns, blocks him, and lays him out flat. With a smirk, she looks at another God-like man with dark brown hair and eyes the color of Jade with a hint of silver.

Lydia sat up, panting and running around howling, getting all excited. Clara even got a little excited and felt tingles in her fists when she touched his face. 'Shit, who is this Lydia? Is he an alpha? Why are you so happy?'.

"Clara, I think, maybe, he is our mate; I cannot get a whiff of his wolf, though. Something seems to be off here."

"Well, there are sparks, and you are dancing happily. Tell me, we cannot mess up and mate with the wrong person."

"I know, I know... give it time, and we will see. I could connect with the buffoon's wolf, but not this one."

"OH? What did his wolf have to say?"

"Not a dam thing in,g except he wanted to run and could not stand being here right now, an,d you are very aggravating."

"Well, let us keep aggravating him more and more. I want him to get riled up, so he keeps sparing with me. I want to see what he has against me."

"Oh, we can do that; I am all over that, my princess; I am all over that," Lydia says devilishly.

"Girl, you are acting like a horn dog stop."

"But I cannot stop. HAVE YOU SEEN how hot he is?"

Clara rolls her eyes and walks off.
