From Here to Ecstasy

Chapter 8 - Testing

Recap:

“Pack, we have a problem with members thinking they can abuse or rape my Omega’s. I can’t believe you think you are entitled to hurt anyone. You are not better than them. We are called a pack for a reason, and it’s not for you to do the things you have done to these fine people.” I looked around at some of the faces I knew who were guilty of these crimes.

“They’re just Omega’s. They are worthless and they don’t do anything to contribute to the pack,” A man voiced as he looked into my eyes.

Griffith's POV

I growled at him, causing him to drop his eyes. “You call them worthless? Who cooks for you? Who cleans up for you? Who carries all your shit in when you go shopping? There are a hundred more reasons your comment doesn’t make sense.” I paused. “Plus, most of the Omegas here can do another job and haven’t been given a chance.” The Omega’s gasped at my words, not expecting me to take up for them. I’m not like other Alphas. My mom and dads taught me right.

“Sir, Alpha, are you going to give us a chance to test somewhere else?” A woman asked, excitement in her voice.

“Yes. But, I need you all to be brave and let me know who and what these people did to you. I need each of you to do this for me, for yourself. They will be punished accordingly.

The woman nodded her head. “I’ll go first. Ray and Bobby raped me over and over. And, they beat me, along with the sluts in this pack,” she told me, tears in her voice, her body shaking.

I saw Autumn run to the woman and watched as Winter bound the men, the sluts soon following. I decided this was going to be too hard on them, but I didn’t have to worry too long. Omega after Omega told me about the horrors they had been through. A lot of the mates to these men and women had passed out. I knew it was a coping mechanism. It’s not every day you hear about your mate raping someone. I’m sure they knew it was happening but thought it was consensual. My heart hurt for these people. What the hell has Erol done to his pack? It was exactly the same thing that happened in my dad's pack.

“Enough!” I yelled and pulled all the perpetrators to me. I teleported them into the cells at one time, not wanting to deal with them at the moment.

I felt the ground shake and I heard the blast. My grandma had shown up again. I teleported out of the cells, looking around for my grandma, but I didn’t see her.

“Mother fucker! Damn, that shit hurts!” She teleported out of the hole in the ground.

“Mom?" I asked bewildered. "I thought it was grandma tearing shit up again,” I told her as I helped her out of the hole, knowing she could have done it herself.

“No, this time it’s me tearing shit up. I felt your heartache and needed to get to you as fast as possible. I could tell you were angry, too. What’s going on?” She asked as she hugged Autumn and Winter.

“People thought they could rape and torture my people because they’re Omegas. What the hell is wrong with these wolves?” I asked, exacerbated about the whole idea. I sighed. “I threw them in the cells for now. I wanted to make sure the Omegas were okay first. I need to find out what they want to do in the pack. They need to be tested. I know there are a lot of them in the wrong position, plus, I won’t have Omegas in my pack.”

“Come on, Griffith. Zane, Trace, Chase, Zoee, and Zander are here to help,” she said with laughter in her voice. She turned her back to me and smiled as they showed up. “Took you long enough.”

“I had to get Renee to keep an eye on the pups,” Zane commented as the pups showed up.

“Uh, Dad, you might want to let Renee know they are here.” I laughed at his face as he glared at the boys. Not that it helped. The boys were laughing at their dads.

“Let’s get this over with. I need help reading their minds, so we can send them for the right test, okay?” I asked as my family nodded their heads and hugged Winter, Autumn,, and me.

We spent a few hours with the Omega’s, reading their minds and listening to their desires. Some knew what they wanted to be, making it easier to put them in the right circle for testing. Some wanted to continue to cook or clean. Some didn’t know what they wanted. But, we checked their minds to see what hobbies they liked. It was easy to put a lot of them in their testing circle. There were some who could work on vehicles. Some who liked to garden and some who liked to work metal.

“Alright. We will start testing in a few minutes. I wanted to let you know whatever you pick or pass the test on, you will be paid a stipend for your work. It may be a little less for a while, but everyone is going to make sacrifices for the sake of the pack. The old Alpha’s stole from this pack or they bought frivolous things. Sound good?” I watched as they all nodded their heads, big smiles on their faces. I knew they hadn’t been paid before, but this pack was going to run on the same principles as my parents taught me.

We each took a circle and started our testing. I could hear a few of them fret about dinner not being ready, but I knew Sally and some of the other women were in our kitchen. I noticed Renee had shown up in the kitchens, too. I guess my mom gave her a task. I made sure they knew this information. I didn’t want their minds to wander as they tested.

Everyone but three people passed their testing, but I knew they were nervous. I knew they could do those jobs without any problems. I think my mom intimated a lot of them. She was a great person and tried to make sure the person was comfortable around her, but these people had been beaten, yelled at, and raped. They were still scared of their own shadow.

I had all the Omega’s in front of me to see how they did in testing. “Kitchen staff, you know you passed, along with our house staff. Matter of fact, all of you passed.” I waited until they quit cheering as I laughed with them. “From this day forward, you are no longer Omega’s. You’re so much more than that. There will be no Omega’s in my pack. I wasn’t raised with any and we did just fine. But, I want to know if anyone puts their hands on you or yells at you. I won’t stand for it.”

“Or you can come to me and I will let Alpha Griffith know, if that’s okay with you Alpha,” Micah added as he looked at me to make sure it was okay.

I nodded my head. “Or Beta Micah. If you don’t want to talk to us you can go to my sister's. They are the Beta females and will help you, too. They won’t stand for anyone treating you bad, not at all.”
