From Here to Ecstasy

Chapter 65 - Leak?

A/N: This is a little bit shorter of a chapter but I'm having a problem writing what is in my mind. N.Y.O.B, thanks for all your comments that make me smile every time I post a chapter. This chapter is dedicated to you.

Recap

I was sleeping soundly when I heard a voice yell in my head. I shot up out of the bed and looked around. “Micah, wake your mates up or they will die. Do it now!”

I jumped and shook both of my mates, doing what the voice told me to do. It only took them a second before they gasped and sat straight up in bed almost knocking their heads into mine.

“Are you okay? Do you need anything? And, what in the hell happened?” I asked, worried sick.

“We were dream-walking when a nasty ass woman caught us. If you hadn’t woken us up when you did we would all be dead. We need to check on Haley, Kaley, and our mom,” Autumn answered as she stood up and magically clothed all of us.

“Aw, I was hoping you were going to keep my shirts on,” I whined, smiling as Winter changed her and Autumn’s shirt back to mine.

Autumn huffed and rolled her eyes at me, pulling me with her to her mom’s packhouse.

“You know, I could have teleported myself, right? I asked as she knocked on her mom and dad’s bedroom door.

I felt air come from my right side. I reached out and grabbed the person by the hand, not wanting to choke any of my mates family members.

“Uh, Micah?” Trace asked, pointing towards his wrist. “Mom’s looking for you at your packhouse.”

“Nope. I’m here. Are you okay?” Summer asked her daughters as she checked them over.

“Mom,” Autumn whined. “We’re fine.”

“Did anyone check on Haley and Kaley?” Winter asked as her eyes widened. “Mom, I don’t feel Haley.”

“What?!” My mom yelled as she looked at me with wild eyes. “I’m so going to enjoy killing the nasty bitch!”

“Right there with you, Mom,” Winter told her, shaking her head.

Summer’s POV

Winter was right, I couldn’t feel Haley either. That bitch better not hurt my daughter or, oh nevermind, I will kill her either way. Not only does she have my daughter but she has been trying to change wolves into skinwalkers. Talking about one sick person. I didn’t understand why they wanted to take us out unless the defunct King and Queen were funding the project.

“That’s it!” I yelled as I snapped my fingers, causing my kids and their mate to jump. “Sorry, I had a talk with myself and figured out who’s behind everything-”

“-the defunct King and Queen,” Autumn cut in, her smile faltering a little when I gave her a playful growl.

“You are correct, Autumn. They are funding the skinwalker project. This is their war they are wanting to wage on us,” I remarked, my face becoming darker. “But, we aren’t going to let them kill us or hurt Haley. We need to get both packs together. We need training and we need to know where the leak is coming from.”

“Leak?” Griffith asked as he showed up and then teleported his mate next to him.

“Yeah, there’s a leak somewhere. Have you gone back and checked everyone’s mind since you met Willow?” I asked as I saw his eyes flash black for a second.

“No, I haven’t, Mom. I was doing paperwork and spending time- “

“-me. You needed to do your work instead of concentrating on me. This is all my f “

“-stop! This is not your fault. Griffith and you are new mates just wanting to spend time together. Believe me, I’m still like and you and Griffith are,” I told her as I pulled her into a hug, patting her back.

Way to make me feel dumb, Mates.

“You can come out now, Blaine and Zane,” I said in a sing-song voice, grabbing both of their arms and pulling them out of the shadows.

“How?” Blaine asked, crossing his arms over his chest.

“Moon Goddess’s daughter. You were hiding from the time I said there was a leak,” I smirked at them and crossed my arms over my chest.

“So, what are we going to do?” Kaiden asked as he and Laci came out of the shadows, causing my mates and I to jump.

Not as good as you thought, huh?” Zane teased me through the mind-link as I rammed my elbow into his gut.

“We’re going to go-” I took off for the backyard, my family following close behind me. I skidded to a stop when I saw the bruja.

“Did you miss me? Your daughter hasn’t missed me one single bit,” she taunted.

I could see my daughter behind the Bruja and I was pissed the fuck off. She had no idea what I would do to her to make her pay for hurting her. I growled loudly and went to charge but I was stopped by Autumn. I looked at her and eased my stance.

“Why would you make everyone think you were in the woods with Haley when she’s not with you?” Autumn asked as she glared at her, little growls of hers echoing off the mountain.

“Well, aren’t you a clever child,” she sarcastically said as she wiped the image from behind her.

I felt Haley close to us and I was sure my family did, too. I didn’t know how she got away, but I wasn’t going to ask her, not at this moment. I didn’t want the Bruja to know where she was. I knew she probably had some information for us. I knew she would keep us up to date on what was happening in the bitch's neck of the woods.

Mom, don’t react. She thinks she’s torturing me but it’s my double. Asher and Ander are helping me to keep up appearances. I just wanted to let you know. I won’t be showing up until we fight the Bruja and skinwalkers,” Haley explained, easing my worry a bit more.

“Are you so afraid of me that you need to ask for help from your warriors?” She taunted once again. As if I would need my warriors for this.

I’ll talk to you later, mom. I love you,” Haley told me before she was gone.

“I haven’t called my warriors to take out the trash.” I pointed at her as I said trash. “I can do it on my own.”

“Sure,” she sarcastically said as she disappeared and came at Micah.

I didn’t need to worry about Michah, his mates put him in a protective circle. “What were you saying again?” Autumn asked coldly.

"What a cocky bitch you are?" She roared and took a step towards Autumn.
