Chapter 11 

Ella said. “This is Harry, the Rhys family’s illegitimate son. Years ago, his mother saved my grandpa’s life and asked him to ensure Harry’s acceptance into the Rhys family. Grandpa agreed, on the condition that Harry marry me. Harry agreed then, but now he’s broken his promise. It’s utterly shameful 

“And this is Grace Madison. She no longer bears the Willow family name and is unrelated to us. She’s the child of one of our servants. After her. family faced tragedy, my grandpa took her in and treated her as family, 

“Harry promised to marry me, but he’s been sneaking around with Grace and 

her 

pregnant.” 

The audience erupted in chaos, knowing Harry had feelings for someone else, possibly before meeting Ella. Rumors suggested Ella pressured Harry into the engagement with her influence, explaining his reluctance… 

Now, it was clear Harry exploited the Willow family’s support, broke his promise to marry Ella, and was romantically involved with another woman. Sympathy for Ella grew as onlookers questioned how someone of her status endured such public humiliation. 

“Enough, Ella!” Harry was in a panic. 

Grace hadn’t expected Ella to reveal everything today. Now, the entire Ardbert City would know she was a shameless homewrecker. Panic set in. and she clutched her stomach. “My stomach hurts. Ella, you want to make me lose this baby or what?” 

Fearing an actual mishap, the bodyguards released their hold on Grace as she cried out in pain. 

“Help! If anything happens to 

to my child, Ella,

“Grace!” Harry broke free and rushed to hold Grace tightly. 

Ella couldn’t help but laugh at the melodrama the two were staging. “Grace, you’ve been fooling around with my fiance. That makes your child illegitimate. No one from my side has touched you, so how can you blame this on me? 

“Oh, and here’s something

“A summons? For what?” Grace asked weakly, her voice soft and confused. 

Ella threw the court summons at Grace, which accused Grace of economic crimes and illegal property acquisition. Ella then distributed thick stacks of paper, detailing the luxury items Grace had purchased over the years, totaling millions. 

“As you can see, Grace has been using my name for years to buy luxury goods, all charged to my account without my knowledge. This is criminal,” Ella stated.. 

Grace paled. She knew her actions were wrong, but couldn’t resist the allure of luxury goods. After a year of secrecy, she grew bolder, assurning Ella wouldn’t notice. She also banked on Ella’s affection for Harry to cover for her if caught. 

Now, with Ella about to marry someone else, Grace wondered if using Harry as a shield would still work. She had no answer. All she could do was continue to cry, clutching her stomach in pain 

“She needs to go to the hospital Ella, how could you do this! If anything happens to my baby, I’ll never forgive you. Harry exclaimed. 

“Fine, get her to the hospital now and step back, guys. Can anyone help ensure the pregnant woman and her baby stay safe?” Ella asked. 

“I will. A concerned guest volunteered, raising his hand. 

“Thanks. Just remember to keep your distance. If anything goes wrong, she might blame you,” Ella cautioned, 

“Got it” the guest replied. 

Harry was ready to leave with Grace when Ella stopped him, saying, “I get that she can’t stick around to face me, but are you leaving too! What about the money she owes me? Are we settling this in court, making it public so you have to pay back every cent? That would embarrass you and the entire Rhys family.” 

“Ella, you’re something else,” Harry remarked, taken aback by this unfamiliar side of her. The obedient girl he once knew seemed like a distant 

memory 

Ella stormed off the stage, her dress swirling angrily around her as she marched toward Harry. Seeing her so worked up, Harry thought he might still have a chance. But suddenly, Ella swing her arm and delivered a hard slap across his face, 

The sound echoed through the full Harry was shocked. A red handprint quickly appeared on his cheek. His eyes narrowed, and he instinctively raised his hand as if to retaliate. 

i someone stepped in front of Ella, intercepting Harry’s slap meant for her. Ella looked up to see jaden, feeling a rush of warmth. As Harry struck Jaden, Ella quickly moved to shield him protectively. “Stay here. I’ll keep you safe,” she said firmly.

Chapter 11 

Jaden frowned disapprovingly. He didn’t need her protection. 

Seeing Ella unharmed, Harry seethed with fury, poised for another strike. But Ella stood firm, her cold gaze challenging him. She said, “Don’t you dare lay a hand on me! If you do, you’ll regret it for the rest of your life. 

“You used the Willow family’s support to get into the Rhys family, then kicked away the ladder. You betrayed my trust and my grandpa’s support. You’re despicable! A slap is not enough for what you’ve done. 

“From now on, there’s nothing between us. Everything I did before, consider it wasted on someone unworthy. I wish you both a miserable life together 

Her voice carried through the hall, charged with emotion 

The crowd went wild for Ella. She was now viewed as smart and sharp, no longer blindly in love, shining brightly on her own. Even Jaden, standing behind her, couldn’t help but admire her. In that moment, she was so damn gorgeous.
