Flirting With My Ex-husband

Chapter 79

Scarlett had a very pleasant life during this period. She didn't know whether her warning to Julie that day had an effect or whether Ethen Woods went back and warned Julie. Anyway, her life was peaceful. In the blink of an eye, several days passed and the Galaxy Awards that Alexis mentioned was drawing near.

Early in the morning, Alexis called Scarlett and said that she had asked some people to come over in the afternoon to do Scarlett make-up. Alexis wanted Scarlett to be the most beautiful woman. With the phone in her hand, Scarlett felt annoyed. " Alexa, do you want me to teach you a lesson?"

"I just want you to be the most beautiful woman in the Galaxy Awards."

Alexis, who was cowardly in front of Scarlett, immediately hung up on Scarlett. Scarlett had no way to vent her anger so she closed her eyes to calm herself down.

Scarlett didn't know what on earth Alexi wanted to do. At three o'clock in the afternoon, just after Scarlett woke up from a nap, the villa's doorbell rang.

She went downstairs in her slippers and looked

through the peephole. There were five or six people standing outside the door. Scarlett asked, "Did Alexis ask you to come?"

"Yes, Ms. Reed."

Scarlett rubbed her temples. "Come in."

Scarlett didn't know where Alexis found these people. After her face was made up for three hours, she could go out.

Except for the day she married Raymond, Scarlett never wore such delicate makeup.

Her facial features were very good-looking, especially her eyes, which were so charming. The makeup artist didn't put heavy makeup on Scarlett's face. She just put nude makeup on Scarlett's face.

The invitation letter was with Alexis and Scarlett had to meet Alexis first.

The car was arranged for by Alexis so there was no need for Scarlett to drive.

It was already dark at six o'clock in the evening. Scarlett sat in the back seat and looked out of the car window. Alexis asked where Scarlett was on the phone.

Scarlett didn't know where she was so she sent Alexis the location directly.

Five minutes later, the car stopped.

Rylie Carrell came over from a commercial car not far

away. "Ms. Reed, Alexis is in the car."

Scarlett lifted the hem of her skirt and smiled at Rylie. "What the awards tonight? Why is Alexis so nervous?"

Rylie had a headache. She told Scarlett about the previous affairs between Alexis and Nylah Waddington while walking.

After Scarlett heard this, she raised her eyebrows. "Who is behind Nylah?"

Rylie was stunned for a moment. But after reacting, she hesitated. "Ms. Reed, the person behind Nylah is powerful. We-"

Scarlett curled her lips. "Rylie, you've known me for so many years. Don't you know that I'm someone who protects my friends?" 'How dare they bully Alexis?'

'Then they should prepare to be punished.'

Rylie laughed, "I shouldn't have told you this."

Scarlett hummed. "But you told me."

Rylie had no choice but to tell her the person behind Nylah. "Ralph James."

"Well."

Scarlett nodded. "It's no wonder that Nylah dares to bully Alexis."

Ralph was Stephen's cousin. It was true that the person behind Nylah was powerful.

The two had already walked to the side of the commercial car. Rylie opened the car door and Scarlett was hugged by Alexis as soon as she got into the car. "Beauty! Let me kiss you!"

Scarlett raised her hand to support Alexis's forehead." It took me three hours to finish the makeup. Don't ruin it."

Alexis knew that she couldn't ruin the makeup. She sat back and looked at Scarlett. "Tsk tsk tsk, I just want to know who doesn't like you. You're so beautiful. The man who doesn't love you must be blind." Scarlett leaned back and tutted lightly. "Raymond."

After more than half a year of divorce, Scarlett found that she was now able to tease herself calmly.

'Well, Raymond doesn't deserve my love.'

Alexis blinked and gave a thumbs up. "Ha ha."

Scarlett raised her lips and smiled.

The car started slowly. Alexis told Scarlett a lot of disgusting things that Nylah had done.
