Flirting With My Ex-husband

Chapter 43

Scarlett didn't expect that she would be admired by Alexander and the others. She had just arrived at the entrance of Night Party with Alexis. The neon lights in front of the entrance were flashing. Scarlett was dazzled.

Mark and Juan were already inside. They booked a large room on the second floor. The cake was waist high. As soon as Scarlett came in, Rylie and the others brought the cake out.

The people who came today were all working for Crain Vision Entertainment. Even Michael, who had just been signed, was here.

Scarlett was not familiar with them. After the divorce, at the request of Alexis, these people and Scarlett once became a trending topic. Scarlett added them on WhatsApp but seldom chatted with them.

When Rylie said that Mark and the others wanted to celebrate her birthday, Scarlett was a little surprised. She had wanted to refuse, but Alexis persuaded her.

There were only eleven people in the room, including Scarlett, Alexis, and Justin. Although there were not many people here, it was very lively.

Scarlett had drunk a lot before coming. After cutting the cake, she sat aside and listened to them talking

about recent news.

They all knew what happened between Justin and Alexis, and they were celebrities, so Scarlett wasn't worried that the news would be leaked out. They didn't leave until midnight.

Scarlett was a little sleepy. She got enough sleep these days. She went to bed before eleven o'clock. Just now when she was sitting on the sofa, she couldn't help yawning.

Alexis drained a few more glasses while Justin was not looking. She was drunk. Justin held her and walked up to Scarlett. "Let's go."

Scarlett stood up and smiled at him. "Alexis is drunk. Take her back. I'll take a taxi."

Justin was not relieved. "It's not very convenient to take a taxi. She's quiet now. I'll drive you back first."

Alexis had a low tolerance and would make a scene after drinking. However, she loved wine.

Now she was staying quietly in Justin's arms, but after a while, when the alcohol took effect, she would make trouble.

The next moment Alexis shouted, "Scarlett, you're so great!

Alexis broke away from Justin and pounced on Scarlett.

Scarlett raised her hand and pushed her back, looking at Justin. "Take her home, or she'll be in the headlines tomorrow." Immediately, Alexis turned around and hugged Justin. "Justin, I love you so much."

Scarlett was speechless.

And so were the crowd.

They just wanted them to go home and stop the public display of affection.

Justin held the dazed Alexis in his arms and glanced at Scarlett. "Call me when you get back."

They had been friends since childhood. Justin took Scarlett as his sister.

Scarlett made a gesture and pulled open the door." Okay."

Alexis yelled and struggled in his arms, so Justin had to carry her away.

The others were also ready to go back. Scarlett's car was not here so she planed to take a taxi back.

Michael was new here and didn't have a car. Rylie was afraid that there would be gossip about him. Thus, she drove Michael back.

Before leaving, Rylie asked Scarlett if she wanted to get a lift. Scarlett refused.

The company's dormitory and her villa were in different directions. They could be back in half an hour, but it would take them an hour if they sent her

home first.

Juan drank a little today. Rylie also sent him back. Only Mark didn't drink and drove himself.

Scarlett sent away Rylie and the others. She turned to smile at Mark. "It's getting late. I'm going back."
