Chapter 41
It was Raymond. Scarlett was surprised. Even the drunk Alexis was scared to hide in Justin's arms.
But Alexis was also excited, nestling against Justin's chest while winking at Scarlett. "Come on!"
Scarlett's mind was a blank. She and Raymond had been married for three years, but the most intimate thing they did was probably that he took her hand on the wedding day.
She didn't expect that three months after the divorce, she even bumped into Raymond with her hands on his shoulders. People who did not know what had happened between them might think they were a sweet couple.
Alexis winked so vigorously that her eyes were almost contorted. Scarlett glanced at her and quickly made a decision.
Raymond was six feet two. Scarlett was five feet six, much shorter than him. Yet she wore high heels today, so she stood on tiptoe and easily kissed his cool lips.
Immediately after that, Scarlett let go of him. "Just a little game. Don't get mad."
She curved her lips. Her voice was flat.
Scarlett took a step back, smiled faintly at him, and raised her eyebrows at Alexis. "Aren't we going to another club?"
Alexis was confused, wondering if it was only a fancy. That was so crazy.
Seeing Alexis stay still in his arms, Justin pulled her." Let's go."
Alexis raised her head. Scarlett had already walked away on her high heels, trailing the light pink skirt behind her.
"Okay."
Scarlett had been drinking, so she couldn't drive and had to take Justin's car.
Alexis was still in shock. Instead of sitting in the passenger seat, she ran to the back seat and stared at Scarlett, reaching out and touching her forehead. "You don't have a fever."
Scarlett, who was looking out of the window, pulled her hand down with annoyance. "What're you doing?"
Alexis replied, "Do you know who you just kissed?"
Scarlett looked at her askance, saying unhappily," Raymond. Is anything wrong?"
Alexis nodded her head vigorously. "Of course! If I remember correctly, you and Raymond were married for three years, but he didn't even sit on the bed in your bedroom! Now you're divorced, but you kissed him! Oh my God! This is scary!"
Scarlett was stung by her words. "In fact, I just take him as a tool."
Alexis was stunned for a moment and then gave her a thumbs up. "You're so awesome!"
Scarlett rubbed her temples. "Stop yelling. Let me take a break."
"Okay!"
Scarlett inclined her head and chuckled. Alexis stood beside her like a fool. Scarlett wondered if the fans would cry when they saw Alexis' true face.
Alexander had drunk two glasses of red wine, but Raymond, who said he had arrived, still didn't come.
He tugged his tie in a fret and elbowed Stephen. "Call Raymond. I'm afraid he is playing with pretty girls in another room. More than ten minutes ago, he said that he arrived, but he's still not here yet!" The next moment the door was pushed open.
It was Raymond, who should have arrived fifteen minutes ago. His face was gloomy.
Alexander directly handed a glass of red wine to him." Three glasses."
