Chapter 6
Chapter 6
Greenwood Middle School, as the name suggests, most of the students who get to study in this school will have a bright future.
I didn’t make it to the accelerated learning class, but thanks to my excellent grades and the strong recommendation of the grade leader, I entered the special class of Greenwood Middle School.
Here, I could enjoy top–notch teachers and a learning environment.
Only two people didn’t fit in.
Once my mother let slip that you couldn’t just buy your way into the special class.
They threatened the school with me. If they didn’t let my sister into the special class, they would send me to
Greenwood Middle School’s rival school.
Excellent students are everywhere, but students who can score full marks in the accelerated learning class of the university are one in a million.
So the school made an exception and gave an extra place to my sister.
There was another person, the moment I met his eyes.
My blood froze.
I will never forget, all the pain in the low–quality high school in my previous life.
The instigator of all this was this seemingly refined, but rotten to the core second–generation rich kid.
“My name is Sonny Grant. My dad said I should hang out with good students. I heard you can score full marks in the accelerated learning class. I should be good friends with you from now on.” His eyes were mocking, and his mouth curled up.
“No need, I just want to study well, I don’t want to make friends.”
It seemed like Sonny had taken a liking to me again. He somehow got my home address and my phone number. He was waiting for me at my house every day, bringing me breakfast.
My mother was surprisingly happy to see his pursuit of me and encouraged me to date him.
She said my dowry was already prepared, and studying was useless anyway. It would be better to get married and have children early, and she could help take care of the children.
She even went through my phone while I was showering and happened to see a harassing text message from Sonny. She wrote down Sonny’s phone number, called him to meet, and wanted to talk about the wedding.
Fortunately, Sonny treated her as a lunatic and hung up the phone directly.
Otherwise, by now, I would have been reserved as someone else’s wife.
My mom couldn’t wait for me to stop going to school, get married early, become a housewife, and serve them both. On the other hand, she makes brain–nourishing soup for my sister every day, encouraging her to study hard and strive to surpass me.
After receiving a scholarship, I chose to live on campus.
At the same time, I packed up the evidence of Sonny’s harassment and sent it to his father.
I successfully caused him to break a leg.
But recently, my sister’s condition had been a bit strange.
As soon as she entered high school, my sister worked hard for a while.
Perhaps it was the shame of being last in class, or perhaps it was the envy of me taking away all the praise.
Unfortunately, false efforts did not translate into scores.
After Sonny transferred to our school, she finally became the second to last.
She walked past my desk hand in hand with Sonny, flaunting every move.
“Sister, this time I finally ran ahead of you. This man is mine.”
Saying this, she kissed Sonny’s face lightly.
There was no sweetness of love in Sonny’s expression.
His eyes were fixed on mine, trying to find a trace of jealousy.
Unfortunately, I just calmly looked at them and then focused my attention back on the book in front of me. Too much time had passed, I had to learn all this knowledge again.
I didn’t have time to pay attention to their love affairs.
