Chapter Finals (2)
Lux
Back on campus, I had my spring break exams to focus on. Being human and all, I was far behind still. Even though I tried my very best to catch up, I was still behind. I had to spend all my free time studying or I would not be making it this year. Which everyone was expecting since no human could pass on their first try. But I would show them. Just you wait.
I was nose down in my Geography book in my little corner in the library. My Telvice kept on pinging. It was Ash, asking me on a date tonight. It was Sebastian with some silly inside joke and Skylark telling me she won’t be coming home tonight so I could do my worst to her brother. Ew.
A shadow loomed over me and I flinched. I glanced up, pen still in my mouth, straight into the handsome face of Dean. ‘There you are!’ he stated like he had been looking for me for hours. I rolled my eyes at him. ‘You know I was here Dean. Stop fronting.’ I cleared out the space next to me so he could sit down. He did and continued to stare at me. I raised one eyebrow at him suspiciously. Since he was obviously trying to ask me something and was nervous about it. ‘Spill it.’ I needed to get on with my studying and he had already taken up too much time. ‘Well… since you and Ash are now…you know.’ I raised my eyebrow higher at that. ‘You know… a…’ he still couldn’t find the right words.
‘Thing…’ I added casually. Not really wanting to put a label on it.
‘Well yeah that and… you know how it goes with Rainers right?’
‘How it goes with Rainers?’
‘You claim someone and you become a package deal.’ He stated like it was obvious.
‘Package deal?’
‘Yeah like… nobody will fuck with you now unless they want to piss off Ash and Sebastian. Two of the Paramore’s. There are not many women out here who could say that Lux. You do realise that don’t you?’
‘And the point is? I’m sorry but I’m short on time Dean…’
‘The point is that I want to work with you on Leo some more. But I’m terrified of Ash. My fucking best friend to add injury to my predicament!’ he grunted and ran his fingers through his short cropped white hairdo. ‘I mean, that’s my guy. He’ll be there at my wedding and he will walk me to my grave.’
I sighed deeply. ‘He doesn’t decide who I hang out with Dean. He never will.’
He snorted again like I was making a joke. ’You literally don’t even understand the shit he gave me when you two weren’t even together. He wanted to kill me for that time you tripped on the way to see Leo. He is insane. Let alone now, if Leo breathes your way he’s going to kill me… let alone.. what if he scratches you. I’m scared to death to let you near Leo at all!’ His voice pitched at the end, clearly worried and he dropped his head in his hands in utter despair.
I dropped my pen. ‘Fuck that Dean. I’m not leaving Leo. Ash just has to deal with that.’
He hesitated and decided to ask me anyway. ‘Okay, but I’m just warning you. You thought he was possessive before Lux. He is on a whole other level now.’
I already had that feeling, he was infuriating sometimes.
‘When do you want to go and see Leo?’ I asked. I wanted to see him too.
‘I was wondering if you’ve want to go now?’ he asked sheepishly. ‘I really would like to test a theory, it’s still morning and we could try and feed him.’
I nodded. ‘Sure, I need a short break anyway.’ I closed my books. ‘But we can’t be too long, I’ve got so much work to do.’
‘Are you telling Ash?’ he asked, clearly nervous. ‘I don’t want him to know, but I also do. Because going behind his back is going to turn out ten times worse for us!’
‘Relax, Dean! He’s your best friend. It’ll be fine.’
I sipped from my coffee, finishing the thing when I spotted him.
‘Speaking of the devil.’ I smiled as I saw him walking in the room. Grey sweat pants on, white Henley. He looked like he had jumped straight out of a sport magazine. My stomach did a low flip thinking about just a few hours ago when we had done so many dirty things to each other. This man made me so horny, I couldn’t even put it into words.
‘Dean, sweet cheeks.’ He fist bumped his best friend and then went over to kiss me fully on the lips. Lifting my body out of the seat and planting me on his lap. Hands already pawning over me.
‘No!’ I squealed. ‘I need to study Ash!’ I protested between kisses, his hard-on already pressing against my ass. It was good to know I made him as horny as he made me.
Dean was sitting there uncomfortably. ‘But first, I’m going to Leo.’ I added with a big smile. Ash froze underneath me.
‘Is this your idea?’ he growled at Dean. I slapped his arm. ‘Stop it!’ I protested. ‘Dean had nothing to do with this, it was my idea!’ Controlling bastard.
‘Well, that’s too bad. You are not going, sweet cheeks.’ His right hand was on my hip, gripping me tightly now.
The mood dropped. ’I am going. You are not the master of my life or my father Asher Briareve.’
‘Ha.’ He sighed. ’but I am your goddamn daddy, sweetheart. You are mine….So when I ask you to not go, you will not go.’ His voice dropped a beat. He was dead serious.
I snorted, and wiggled out of his lap. He squirmed, because I had been wiggling on something private that was now fully erected. ‘You ready Dean?’ I sweetly asked my friend, ignoring my boyfriend.
Dean looked like he was about to shit his pants. He opened and closed his mouth again.
‘Dean?’ I asked again, blinking exaggeratingly a few times. Ash rolled his eyes at me.
‘Y-yeah… I’m ready.’ He rose up, 6 foot towering over me. Ash rose too. 6 foot 5 towering over my other side. Clearly not happy with me. He addressed Dean in a menacing low growl. ‘One hair on her head, Scheider.’
Dean saluted him as Ash turned to me and coolly stated while looking down his nose at me. ‘We will talk about this later.’ Oh boy that was going to earn me a spanking. I need to be a brat more often.
I defiantly stuck my tongue out at him and he cracked a small smile. ‘I’ll get that tongue later.’ He licked my mouth. ‘And that ass.’ He spanked me hard and the sound vertebrated through the library, making my cheeks heat. He turned on his heel as if nothing had happened and walked out. He was so sexually strange. So incredibly intriguing. Damn that man. What was I doing?
Dean cleared his throat. ‘Let’s go…’ he wanted to sprint the hell out of there before Ash changed his mind.
