Fated Mates

Chapter Sweet temptations

The night hung heavy with the scent of pine and the secrets of the moonlit realm. Sebastian’s touch, gentle and deliberate, sent a shiver down my spine as he brushed a stray hair from my face. The air crackled with an energy that seemed to defy the laws of nature, and in that moment, a thunderbolt seemed to strike us both.

Tingling sensations raced across my body, a dance of electric currents that left me breathless. My wolf, a joyful presence in the recesses of my mind, celebrated the connection. Reality blurred, and I found myself lost in a haze where dream and truth entwined.

Ever since Sebastian’s visit, my nights had been filled with dreams—erotic visions where he and I shared intimate moments. The line between waiting for a mate and succumbing to primal desires blurred in the realm of our werewolf community. It was common for wolves to seek physical pleasure, but I had held onto the notion of waiting for my mate, convinced that destiny had a plan for me.

As Sebastian’s distinct scent enveloped me, my thoughts spiraled into a whirlwind of desire. His presence stirred emotions I had never experienced before. The longing to feel his touch, to taste his lips, overwhelmed me. My mind, clouded by both reality and fantasy, struggled to distinguish between the two.

Caught in a trance of forbidden thoughts, I was abruptly pulled back to reality by the sound of someone clearing their throat. Sebastian, wearing a smirking expression, looked at me with an intensity that mirrored the storm raging within me. My cheeks burned with embarrassment, realizing that he had likely sensed the racy thoughts that had consumed my mind.

The realization hit me like a tidal wave, and I stammered out an excuse before hastily retreating in embarrassment. A wave of mortification washed over me as I sought solace in the seclusion of my thoughts. I vowed not to face Sebastian for the remainder of his stay, unable to meet his gaze after the vulnerability I had unwittingly revealed.

As I ran, seeking refuge in the shadows, the moon bore witness to the tempest of emotions within me. The echo of Sebastian’s presence lingered, a reminder of the magnetic pull that had ignited a storm of desire. In the solitude of my own embarrassment, I couldn’t help but wonder, “Oh moon goddess, what’s wrong with me?”
