Before she could finish her sentence, Edith interrupted her coldly. “I don’t need you to remind me. I know you’re the superstar, Meggie Huffam, a popular actress, the Sugar Pea, right? Edith didn’t want to be so intimate with him, but she couldn’t refuse at all.

When Meggie watched them pressing against each other, her eyes turned red. 

Looking at the man she loved hugging another woman, how could she be willing? 

“She will be your sister–in–law in the future. Show her respect, and don’t annoy me.” 

Carlos‘ voice was cold and domineering. It seemed that he was declaring his ownership directly. 

Meggie instantly cracked up and glared fiercely at Edith. Unable to stand the grievance, she turned around and left. 

Seeing that Meggie was crying so sadly, Edith couldn’t help curling her lips and frowning.

“Take this with you. You can fill your stomach with them when you’re hungry at work. It’s better than drinking coffee.” 

Carlos looked at the big can in his arms. If he took it to the office, people would laugh at him if they saw it.

He took it and stepped forward to press her against the refrigerator, which scared her so much that her eyes widened.

With no answer, Carlos bent down and kissed her on the lips.
