Chapter 6
Chapter 6
The behavior of the man in front of Josephine infuriated her. She bit her lips and didn’t know how to choose.
Ragnar continued, “Josephine, among all the applicants, you are the most suitable candidate to be the mother of my children! That is why I hold you in such high regard. The agreement I mentioned previously is still on the table. As long as you agree to it, I will send you to the hospital immediately.”
Josephine knew that if she got out of the car and continued to be pestered by Charles, there would only be one outcome. However, if she didn’t get out of the car, she would have to agree to Ragnar’s offer.
“As I previously stated, our agreement is only for three years. For three years, you will be my wife and the mother of my children. You will have to take good care of them so that my children wouldn’t lack maternal love. We’ll divorce three years later, and you’ll walk away with a large sum of money.” Ragnar said.
Josephine looked at the man. “Then we…” She did not finish the sentence, but she wondered if he would touch her during these three years.
Ragnar said indifferently. “Don’t worry. I will respect your wishes.”
After all, he didn’t care much about being intimate with her. She was just a woman. “If I wanted, how many would I have already had?” Ragnar thought to
himself
“Okay, I agree to be your wife,” Josephine agreed. However, she informed him in advance, “Although I’m married to you, we’re only married by contract. Also, it has to be a secret marriage.”
Ragnar said, “All right.”
The matter was settled.
Ragnar ordered, “Drive to the hospital.”
However, on the way to the hospital, the discomfort that Josephine felt was no different from a living hell.
The presence of the man beside her was too strong in the confined space of the car. He was both handsome and cold.
His cold aura and the strong cool fragrance of his body were constantly tempting Josephine.
Josephine glared at him fiercely.

Finally, she averted her gaze and said weakly, “Can you open the windows?”
Her face turned from pale to red.
She clenched her fists..
“Why haven’t we arrived at the hospital yet?” Josephine thought to herself.
She clenched her teeth and counted the passing seconds in her mind.
At the same time, the gripped the buttons of her clothes tightly.
Ragnar looked over.
Seeing the woman’s cautious demeanor, he couldn’t help but feel that the temperature in the car seemed to be a little higher at the moment as well.
“Crank up the air conditioner,” he ordered the driver coldly.
In the meantime, Ragnar’s large hand grabbed Josephine’s small hand, which was gripping her shirt buttons. He warned her in a cold voice, “Don’t move! We’ll be at the hospital soon.”
Josephine was obedient at first.

Tue,
The car’s air conditioner was on full blast, and the icy wind kept her quiet.
However, the temperature in the car seemed to rise again in no time.
Again, Josephine found it hard to keep still.
She hugged her shoulders tightly and shivered in a corner of the car.
The man looked at her mildly and coldly while Josephine looked back at him with an unfocused gaze. “How long will it take to get to the hospital, Mr.
Levine? I…”
Ragnar did not respond.
Josephine suddenly leaned toward Ragnar and kissed his thin lips with her warm lips.
Ragnar was stunned.
No woman had ever gotten close to him in his 28 years of life.
Of course, he’d never kissed anyone before either, as he thought the act of exchanging saliva between human beings was extremely unhygienic.
A person’s saliva was full of bacteria, and he had germaphobia.
However, at this moment, Ragnar’s face darkened.
He pushed Josephine away. His eyes were so cold as if he wanted to kill someone. “Stay still! Otherwise, I don’t mind throwing you out of the car right.
now!”
Josephine had no choice but to huddle in a corner, hugging her shoulders once more.
She looked aggrieved like an abandoned kitten.
Ragnar glanced at her and remained silent.
Samantha certainly added a lot of ingredients to that bowl of mushroom soup. If it were not because she had cut her own arm earlier, Josephine wouldn’t have been able to endure the feeling till now.
Josephine’s ears were buzzing at the moment, and she looked pitifully at the man’s cold expression.
Ragnar turned his head, not wanting to see her expression at that moment.
“This woman has a lot of willpower,” Ragnar thought to himself. Just then, the woman leaned toward him again. Ragnar was utterly speechless.
“I’ve overestimated her!” he exclaimed inwardly.
She clutched the man’s shirt like an octopus. Not daring to act too brazenly, she carefully kissed his lips again.
“Josephine!” Ragnar was furious.
The woman kept challenging his bottom line again and again, refusing to listen to him.
He pushed her away again and gave her a warning in a cold voice.
The driver accidentally noticed Ragnar’s dark, gloomy expression through the rear–view mirror and thought to himself, “It looks like the future Mrs. Levine doesn’t know that Mr. Levine has serious germaphobia and that most women are unable to get close to him.”
He quietly raised the partition.
Unable to take it any longer, Ragnar reached out and knocked Josephine out cold.
He looked at the woman who had fainted over and thought, “Now, she’s finally keeping still.”

His dark eyes were not only filled with raw danger but also murderous intention. He gritted his teeth and said, “Open the window!”
The driver immediately rolled down the window.
The whistling cold wind blew in, dispersing the frustration that had accumulated in the car.
As Ragnar tugged at his messed up shirt, he glanced at the woman who lay beside him. He noticed that her thin pajamas‘ buttons had come undone.
Ragnar stretched out his hand angrily and buttoned her pajamas.
He felt a little thirsty, and it was all this woman’s fault.
He frowned as he looked out the window.
They finally arrived at the hospital.
Ragnar ordered the driver, “Carry her out.”
“Yes.” The driver accepted the order.
However, he felt a little embarrassed when he was about to carry Josephine.
“How should I carry her? This is the future wife of Mr. Levine,” he thought to himself. It felt wrong to carry her, just as it felt wrong not to do so.
Eventually, Ragnar also realized this.
“Josephine will soon become my wife, and she’s currently dressed in pajamas. How could I let others touch her?” Ragnar thought to himself.
“Go away,” he said indifferently.
He then walked over to Josephine and scooped her up in his arms disdainfully.
After Josephine was sent to the emergency room, the doctor asked about the situation.
Ragnar’s face darkened as he reported, “She’s eaten something filthy!”
The doctor was taken aback.
In the next second, realization dawned on him.
He glanced at Josephine, who had delicate features and looked quite attractive. Then he looked at Ragnar. “Is she your girlfriend? If so, you can just help
her.”
Ragnar frowned.
The doctor looked at him and continued, “What should have been absorbed has already entered her bloodstream. It doesn’t help much to send her to a hospital. I’ll give her a shot to boost her metabolism and help her get rid of the toxins that have been absorbed into her bloodstream as soon as possible. Find a way to make her sweat. She just needs to bear with it. It’ll pass.”
The doctor then gave Josephine an injection of a drug that would boost her metabolism and asked Ragnar to leave with her.
Outside the hospital’s entrance, the driver looked at Ragnar, who had just gotten into the car. “Mr. Levine, where are we going now?”
“Should I be sending Mr. Levine and the future Mrs. Levine back home, or…” he wondered uncertainly.
“Get us to a hotel nearby,” Ragnar said.
“Yes!” The driver started driving immediately.
They soon arrived at a seven–star hotel nearby.
