He questioned Josephine. “Someone else’s daughter is a young child. Aren’t Danny and Manny young too? She likes you very much. Are you going to be her mother as well?” 

Josephine was silent. 

Ragnar was frustrated. 

He grabbed Josephine’s wrist and warned, “Get this right. You are my wife now. You are the mother of Danny and Manny. I don’t want people saying that I’m cuckolded!” 

Ragnar even insisted that Josephine stop working for the Hayes family immediately. He did not want anything like what happened that day to happen again. 

He did not want Josephine to ignore Danny and Manny because of someone else’s child again. 

Josephine refused. 

The two started to quarrel. 

Josephine’s eyes were red with anger. 

The bedroom door was suddenly pushed open, and Diana came in. “Ragnar, I heard from Conner that Josie is back…” 

She did not finish her words. 

When Diana saw Ragnar pulling Josephine’s wrist and the latter’s red eyes, the old lady immediately asked. “What’s going on with you two?” 

“Josie, did Ragnar bully you?” she asked again. 

Josephine shook her head. “No.” 

However, her eyes were red. She did not look like she was not bullied. Diana did not believe her. 

“Yes, I bullied her!” Ragnar suddenly said. 

Then, while holding Josephine’s wrist, he approached and kissed Josephine suddenly right in front of Diana. 

Josephine’s eyes widened in shock. 

Diana was speechless. 

She was also staring at him with wide eyes. 

After returning to her senses, she covered her eyes and looked at Ragnar through the gaps between her fingers. “Ragnar, if this is what you mean by bullying, I won’t hold you against it. But make sure you don’t cross the line. Look, Josie’s eyes are all red because of you.” 

Ragnar responded, “Okay.” 

He looked at the old lady and said, “Grandma, Josephine and I have something important to do. Shouldn’t you…” 

“I’m leaving now,” Diana said as she stepped back. 

Before closing the door, she murmured, “My grandson is old enough. I should also change my habit of not knocking.” 

With that, the room door was completely closed. 

Josephine pushed Ragnar away. “You!” 

Ragnar grabbed her wrist and pulled her into his arms again. “Grandma has the habit of listening through the door.” 

With that, he planted another kiss. 

He did not care nor think anything about bacteria or kissing being unsanitary. He just found the feeling so beautiful, almost like fireworks. 

He no longer felt disgusted or avoided the act. It was also hard for him to stop because she tasted so good. Ragnar actually felt a little greedy and wanted more. 

He opened Josephine’s lips with his tongue. 

Josephine was shocked. 

She stared at Ragnar with wide eyes. Even if he wanted to put on an act, there was no need for it to be so real. 

She wanted to refuse. 

She stretched out her hand and tried to push Ragnar away. 

Josephine succeeded. She pushed away Ragnar who was kissing her so vigorously as if trying to swallow all the oxygen in her lungs. 

However, she did not expect her body to be lifted up so suddenly. 

“What are you doing?” 

Josephine was startled as she was suddenly picked up by Ragnar. 

He replied. “What do you think?” 

Ragnar’s voice was low and hoarse with enchantment. 

He held Josephine in his arms, walked to the bed, and threw her on it. Then, he joined her. 

Josephine lay on the soft, queen–sized bed. 

Then, the handsome and tall man pressed his body down. 

Josephine’s heart was beating fast, and there was fear in her eyes. She looked at Ragnar with alertness. “You…” 

She wanted to ask what he wanted to do. “Did he not say he wouldn’t touch me? And did he not have mysophobia and hated women?” she thought. 

That was all Josephine managed to say before Ragnar’s slender index finger fell on her lips that he had just kissed. 

He looked at Josephine with his dark eyes. “Don’t be so full of yourself. I won’t touch you! This is just to deal with Grandma!” 

But in fact, at that moment, he really seemed to want to continue their kiss and wanted something more to happen.

They were too close. The strong scent of Ragnar engulfed her, which made her blush. Even her heart was beating faster and 

faster.

Ragnar smiled. 

He was born a handsome man. He looked so good when he smiled like that. 

He laughed. “You’re good at making noises, aren’t you?” 

Josephine was embarrassed. 

Ragnar said, “Go on!” 

Josephine kept quiet again. 

She was scared by his action just now. 

Her face turned red as she looked at Ragnar who was at arm’s length from her. She could not utter a word anymore. 

Ragnar repeated the old trick and did a push–up on top of her. 

Josephine was flustered and annoyed. “Stop this!” 

He really should stop. Ragnar suddenly got up and went straight to the bathroom. Before he turned on the shower, he wondered why he was so easily aroused. He asked himself silently, “Am I really that old and need a woman?” 

Time passed by quickly. 

It seemed that half a month had passed in a flash. 

At this time, Charles was already the well–known vice president of George’s company, and George deeply trusted him. 

It was the end of the day when Valeria came to the company to find Charles. 

She lay in Charles‘ arms and acted like a spoiled child. “Charles, you’re now the company’s vice president, and my father trusts you very much. My father has already agreed for us to get engaged. Initially, he wanted us to get engaged first, but you thought work was more important. But now- 

Valeria wanted to get engaged to Charles right away.

Charles pushed Valeria away. He said coldly, “Val, I’ve said this before. I want to focus on work before starting a family. I want to wait a little longer. When I’m capable, I will be engaged to you right away!” 

But Valeria did not want to wait.
