Charmed By A Steel City Hustler

Chapter 39 — Betrayal Revealed

Caesar:

I was running late on meeting Bash at his crib. I was knee deep in Rihanna's pussy and lost track of time. She was this fine ass stripper I met at The Pretty Kitty a few months ago. I never linked up with her due to Nise returning to town. Then Shay and her crazy bullshit, a fool needed a proper release.

The women in my life had gotten out of hand. Bash and his bullshit had gotten crazy as well. This fool better have a solution for those dread lock lames and a time frame on his step down. He took power back because he looked soft fucking that bitch. All that was exposed now and there was no need for him to hang around.

The truck in front of me was stalling at a green light, so I blew on my horn for the second time. I hated distracted drivers. I hit my turn signal and busted a quick right and went down the road toward my destination. My phone went off and Shay's name popped up.

She was pissed that I had threw her ass around my house and then fucked the shit out of her. She thought shit was all good until she woke up outside my gate in underwear. That will teach her ass to get out of line again. I arrived at Bash's crib and parked my car, turning it off.

There were construction trucks blocking the driveway. Bash was serious about remodeling this mansion. I am truly surprised that he went through with the divorce proceedings. That fool talked a big game, but in the end, Lola was the perfect trophy wife.

Lois must have been a monster in the sack to make that fool switch up his whole life. Pussy would never rule my black ass, that was for lame fools. I walked into the front door which was wide open and saw the workers pulling out walls and shit. I yelled out to Bash and his voice came from upstairs.

I took a deep breath after climbing those steep ass steps and walked into the first door on the left. Bash had his home office decked the fuck out. Fish tanks and a huge cherry oak desk, like the bar office. Bash had a manila folder sitting in front of him and was puffing on a blunt. I took a seat in the leather chair and reached over to dap him up.

We briefly bumped fists and he hit a button on the desk that activated the door to shut automatically. Bash ashed the blunt and then looked at me. I had been on edge lately with all this extracurricular shit going on. There were bad vibes coming up off him right now. The room felt as if all the air was sucked out of it.

"What's up Bruh, everything good at the shipping warehouse?"

"Yeah, business is flowing smoothly despite that hiccup. The crew still looking for those out of towners. Other than that, shit straight. We have been limiting shipments to prevent any retaliation from those fools."

"Yes, Barrel dialed me in on that and I told him to continue with regular orders. That was something we should have discussed first. We look weak if we allow that fuck ass kidnapping to change up our flow."

I tightened my fist slightly at his words. Barrel's punk ass had no business calling Bash. We were partners and never had to check with each other before on decisions. I had my game face on, and this fool really did not offer me the blunt. What the fuck was going on up in here?

"Punk does not course through my veins. Given that the shipments were going to my clientele you should have spoken with me first."

"I need to run everything by you now? Since when did this shit happen? Just a few weeks ago you were ready to run off into the sunset with your side bitch. Now you want to switch up shit in business the way we been doing for years?" Bash continued to puff on his blunt with no change in his expression and that had me mad. I had no idea what bug crawled up his ass. He needed to just speak his peace, and we could move on from this shit.

"Lois is not one of those random jump-offs you take home on the regular. Show her some respect by using her government. How would you feel if I called Nise out of her name? I didn't think so. Moving this conversation back to business. I heard from Miguel the other day and we had a nice chat."

That privileged Spanish prick could not mind his business across the fucking ocean. Miguel was one of the board members on the organization I was trying to get into. He and Bash had some weird relationship that I never knew or could get in with. That shit pissed me off because as his partner I should always be up to date on shit like that.

"I'm not about to sit here and give you no excuses. Shit the cat is out the bag. You were making your exit. I saw no reason not to expand and merge."

Bash slammed his fist down on the desk and his face got tight. We had never gone at it before. Shit our business and personal goals have never clashed until now. I was not backing down on this issue either. The days of me living in any fool or bitches shadow was over. He polished off his blunt and then ashed the roach.

"Cease we go way back and because of that I have kept quiet on this situation. I already knew you were looking to expand a few months ago. I thought that I was hearing wrong. The fact our crew came to me about this tells me you were moving wrong. Concerned employees are a liability. They make mistakes because they don't have confidence in their boss."

The crew had turned bitch on me. Worse, they were not going to follow me once Bash was gone completely. This screwed up any plans I had to merge with the organization. I would have to rebuild workers from scratch and weed out the weaklings2 and snitches.

"I guess we should start dividing up the clients and shit, huh? This is all because Kalvon is here, isn't it? That little fool steps foot in the Steel City and shit goes left."

"Hold up! Are you playing the bloodline card with me? Nigga we been tight since the muthafucking sandbox! Kalvon ain't got shit to do with my fucking pockets. You're just mad because Nise trying to give him some pussy." POP!

I stood up and reached over the desk punching Bash on the right side of his face. This fool was talking to me like I was a new crew member. Bash recovered quickly, and head butted me followed up by two punches to my face. He lunged over the desk falling on top of me. He was talking crazy and letting loose.

I be damned if he beat my ass. Pushing him off me we both stood up ready to square off and there was knocking at his office door. Bash had a busted bottom lip, and my left eye was stinging. The voices on the other side were the contractors. I was ready to end this shit and mad as hell I didn't have my gun on me. I knew for a fact Bash had several hidden throughout this office.

"Fuck you gone do fool?" I said breathing heavy like a bull ready to charge the red flag.

Bash began to chuckle and wiped the blood from his lip and quickly hit me two more times in the face. I never saw them coming and stumbled back to the door which opened, and I fell into the hallway. The construction workers were just looking and not sure what to do. They looked from me to Bash, and leader of the group asked Bash if he needed any assistance. He waved them off and pulled his shirt off.

"You really laid hands on me over some pussy ass statement. Cease your judgement is truly clouded. No way in hell will I leave this empire to you with that current mentality. Kalvon does want to take over. I thought your stubborn archaic ass could be a good mentor for him. The two of you could work together and build a bond in my absence. That plan is off the table now."

I was picking my ass up from the floor while he made this speech. Bash was passed pussy whipped. This fool was brain damaged if he ever thought that his cousin and I would work side by side. The Nise shit was added reason for me not to fuck with him. I don't trust out of state fools and Kalvon was bad news.

Nigga had us in deep with some foreign drama he brought here with him. He was hot headed as hell and never thought shit through. I stood to my feet itching to hit Bash again but there was no point, we would fuck this house up and someone would die. I was outnumbered with his work crew here. He stared at me intently while sitting on the edge of his desk before speaking.

"Cease I don't know how we got here, but shit can't continue like this."

"You muthafucking right about that my fool! Expansion is a good move whether you want to admit to it or not. Sooner or later the bigger players will come to us. We won't have a choice, it will be fall in line or die."

"That sound like bitch made shit to me, but whatever. We can divide up the clientele. Whomever we brought in solo will stay with each of us. Those that we acquired together will have the option of choosing. Most of the crew is staying on board with me. Those that will follow with you are free to with no repercussions from me."

I was shocked this fool was so calm about letting go of a fifteen-year partnership. I just nodded my head and turned to leave, what else was there to say? Then this fool cleared his throat. The signal that he was about to speak some bullshit. "Caesar, this means we are competition now. You are going to have to find a new base of operations and you will be banned from distributing in a 100-mile radius surrounding Allegheny County starting the next forty-eight hours." Son of a bitch!

I didn't even turn around to give the look of satisfaction that he so wanted. Bash was being a bitch because I caught his ass off guard. None of that mattered anymore, I had two days to get my shit in order.

I trotted down the steps sending out text messages to those who would follow me. I needed my office at both bar locations stripped of all my belongings. I had to take a drive out and scout a new location quick. Uprooting never was part of my plans, but I could make shit shake on the fly.

This was not the end of the separation between Bash and me. He had better be prepared to discuss this shit further in detail. We both needed to cool off. That fool would come to his senses real soon. He had a target on his back with those dread head fools.

No one would ever cover his back like me, not even that shitty blood line of his. The alerts to my phone as I got in let me know that those loyal to me were springing to action. I needed to reach out to the international organization again and not those Spanish roaches. I was an individual entity now, joining should not be an issue.
