CEO's Tears Over Pregnancy Test Discovery

Chapter 889

"You're very weak right now. I don't know what drugs Seth used on you, but you've spent years in the lab. You'll have to deal with your own health." Micah threw out these words and turned to leave. "But wait! You still haven't told me where Nina is," the Pharaoh called after him, his heart heavy with worry. "Did something happen to her?"

Micah paused, his face unreadable. "Do you remember Wilfred?"

The Pharaoh nodded gravely. "Of course. He was my most successful creation."

Wilfred had been turned into a healer by the Pharaoh. Although Wilfred had escaped, the Pharaoh had continually searched for him, despite the constant warfare that limited his resources.

The Pharaoh's brows furrowed. "Is Wilfred after Ivy now? And what about the girl pretending to be Ivy?"

"You should be glad Ivy is different from you. She has managed to survive. When Seth started his rebellion, Wilfred took Ivy and fled," Micah replied.

Now that it was clear Nina was Ivy, Micah had started calling her by her true name, especially in front of the Pharaoh.

"Send more men to find Ivy. We must bring her back. I owe her too much..." The Pharaoh's voice choked with emotion.

Originally, when Seth had brought lvy back, he thought he would make things right after finishing his tasks. But now, everything had changed so quickly. Any plans he had were now overshadowed by the urgency to find his daughter. Micah's voice was cold. "It's too late to tell me this now that you're awake."

With that, Micah turned and left without looking back. The Pharaoh

remained silent, feeling a heavy

set

weight in his chest, making it hard to breathe.

Meanwhile, Seth had entered the allied forces' camp, and this information had already reached Nash and Micah. If Seth planned to

ally with them to attack, they needed to prepare for battle.

Nina wasn't in the Yaren tribe anymore, and Nash had no intention of staying there. Just as he was leaving, he received a call from his unit.

"Captain, there are two people, a man and a woman, who say they know you. One is named Wilfred, the other is Nina..."

Nash didn't wait to hear the rest. "Make sure they're safe. I'm heading back immediately! Ensure they're fed and taken care of." "Understood."

Nash hung up, not wasting any more time. His only thought was that he couldn't lose Nina again.

Nina was severely dehydrated and exhausted from the journey. She lay on a cot, with Wilfred by her side, giving her water and then his own blood to strengthen her. When she saw the cut on his hand, she instinctively tried to resist.

"Ivy, hold on. This will help you," Wilfred reassured her. Just then, a shadow appeared at the entrance of the tent.
