Chapter The End
BORA
Dear diary
After a long battle with myself, after accepting that Marga has sacrificed herself for us, I am now ready to look to the future. A future wrapped in roses, surrounded by golden waves, peace and harmony.
My thoughts had played a trick on me at the beginning, at least that's what I thought, but it wasn't like that. This was my future.
Lorys takes good care of me. My bathtub is filled with water and roses, while my belly is now bulging out of the water. Soon the moon goddess will bless us. While Lorys is betting that it will be a boy, I'm hoping for a girl. In any case, I pray for a long life and good health. That's the most important thing for me.
Lorys had recovered in the meantime and Leonardo had also found peace after a long time. We were all looking forward to the offspring.
That was life... Sometimes it was terrible and exhausting, but now? Now that we were over the hill and had survived the worst, a beautiful wedding in white that made us reminisce in the hope of happiness...
Lorys had had a beaded wedding dress made for me. Pearls, like Marga. In memory of her, of the most beautiful day of my life. The day my girlfriend walked me down the aisle in my heart. In the thought that she was watching over us and standing by us. Resting peacefully in heaven with all our loved ones.
Although it was a beautiful day, I was so emotionally upset that any advice to pull myself together bounced off me. Oh moon goddess... It hurt so much to know that she wasn't there...
Another tear rolled down my cheek as I put the dress on and looked at myself in the mirror.
‘You look beautiful, princess,’ I heard a voice whisper in my head. A familiar voice that made me flinch and turn round. Marga...
It was the voice I needed to hear to pluck up the courage to go out the door.
‘Are you ready, Bora?’ my father asked me, looking at me with tears in his eyes. He was also moved and happy about our happiness.
I was definitely ready and was accompanied to the altar by my father. The garden was beautifully decorated, just like the evening Linda, Marga and I had decorated the garden for the ball. All the members of the pack had come to celebrate with us.
The best thing of all? My dream man was standing in the front row, looking around nervously with a smile on his face.
Classical violin music played as I walked down the aisle with my dad and he handed me over to Lory, who looked at me with tears in his eyes.
‘Oh God,’ he whispered softly and looked at me beaming.
‘You're so beautiful, Bora,’ he whispered softly to me as I smiled gratefully and Leonardo took over as Beta of the pack.
‘Friends and family! We have come today to support our Alpha, to give him the courage and strength to marry this wonderful woman!’ the crowd laughed and giggled as Lorys looked sheepishly to the ground and then to me.
‘Lorys, the feared Alpha of the Circle pack, once a powerful man, is now getting married’.
Again the crowd laughed.
‘Get to the point, Leonardo...’ muttered Lorys impatiently, giving him a penetrating look.
‘Do you, Lorys the Mighty, swear to serve, honour and be faithful to your wonderful Bora until death do you part? To be there for each other in sickness and in health? So say the holy words - I will.’
Again the crowd laughs as Lorys, chest heaving, looks me in the eye with a smile.
‘I do.’
The crowd claps as Leonardo signals them to quiet down.
‘And you Bora, friend of the family, Luna of the Circle pack, will you take Lorys as your husband, swear loyalty and love to him until death do you part?’
I look at Lorys sheepishly while I giggle myself and nod: ‘Yes, I do!’
James starts whistling while the others clap and Leonardo smiles at us.
‘Then you can kiss the bride now.’
Lorys didn't need any more words to do as he was told as he pulled me as close to him as he could, my stomach, and kissed me passionately.
I returned the kiss and lost myself in all the emotions, the endorphins and joy pulsing in my chest.
And if they haven't died, then they are still alive today.❤️
I would like to thank all readers for rooting for Bora and Lorys. Unfortunately, every story comes to an end and Bora's story ends here.
I dedicate this story to a friend, Lorena, who is very fond of peaches and always gives me new ideas.
Leave me your comments with your opinions, smileys and likes! Your opinion is important to me to develop improvements and ideas!
Many thanks
Yours Nisa❤️🌹
